0:00:04 > 0:00:06Happy Saturday!

0:00:06 > 0:00:08I'm Jenny, live with all the news you need to know.

0:00:08 > 0:00:11Coming up:

0:00:11 > 0:00:15Find out what record Ed Sheeran has broken...

0:00:15 > 0:00:18Why dragons DO exist...

0:00:18 > 0:00:22And the wheely good news for this tortoise.

0:00:31 > 0:00:34First, Ed Sheeran is back and already breaking records

0:00:34 > 0:00:39with his new singles, Shape of You and Castle On The hill.

0:00:39 > 0:00:42They've entered the UK singles chart at number one and number two.

0:00:42 > 0:00:45The Official Charts Company say it's the first time in history an artist

0:00:45 > 0:00:48has taken the top two chart positions with brand-new songs.

0:00:48 > 0:00:53Ed said he was "incredibly chuffed" with the success.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57Towns and villages along the East Coast of England mostly

0:00:57 > 0:01:00escaped the heavy flooding that had been predicted for last night.

0:01:00 > 0:01:02Hundreds of people were moved from their homes in Norfolk

0:01:02 > 0:01:05and Essex, worried there might be a storm surge, where strong winds

0:01:05 > 0:01:10and high tides combine to bring more water on land and cause flooding.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13Some places did have flooding, but a change in wind direction

0:01:13 > 0:01:22at the right time prevented most of the damage.

0:01:22 > 0:01:26This year is going to see some big changes to the way our country deals

0:01:26 > 0:01:27with its neighbours.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29Martin and Ayshah love the seaside, so we sent them

0:01:29 > 0:01:31out to find out more...

0:01:32 > 0:01:33This is Brighton.

0:01:33 > 0:01:36It's got a pier, a tower, the sea and it's even got sand.

0:01:36 > 0:01:38Well, kind of.

0:01:38 > 0:01:39This is Blackpool.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42It's got a pier, it's got a tower and - you guessed it -

0:01:42 > 0:01:50it's got the sea.

0:01:50 > 0:01:55But there were some differences between the two when it comes

0:01:55 > 0:01:58to the vote that adults took last year for Britain to leave

0:01:58 > 0:02:00a group of countries called the European Union.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02Here in Brighton, most people voted Stay.

0:02:02 > 0:02:07Here in Blackpool, most people voted to Leave.

0:02:07 > 0:02:09This year, the UK Government are going to tell the European Union

0:02:09 > 0:02:14that we're leaving.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17What do kids in these two places think of that decision?

0:02:17 > 0:02:21I think leaving the EU is a good thing because we will have more

0:02:21 > 0:02:24control of our money for individual services who need it,

0:02:24 > 0:02:28like hospitals.

0:02:28 > 0:02:31I chose to stay in the EU because I want to be united

0:02:31 > 0:02:37with other countries.

0:02:37 > 0:02:41For a few weeks, we might take a bit of time to get used to the idea that

0:02:41 > 0:02:46we're not in the EU anymore, we don't have any countries to back

0:02:46 > 0:02:49us up as we used to, but I do feel that we will get used

0:02:49 > 0:02:56to it and that we will make a success of it.

0:02:56 > 0:03:02We can move on and still have the good deals

0:03:02 > 0:03:04and relationships but now, because we've left, we have

0:03:04 > 0:03:09to find different deals and new friends in a way.

0:03:09 > 0:03:11I think that people coming from different countries is losing

0:03:11 > 0:03:17us money, so getting people back on track will get more money

0:03:17 > 0:03:19because we're only a small country and the money

0:03:19 > 0:03:25we give away is quite a lot.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27I feel like we won't be as safe as we were.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30There is a bigger chance that we could make enemies

0:03:30 > 0:03:32with the other countries in the EU now.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35It's frustrating when big decisions are getting made,

0:03:35 > 0:03:38because we don't get a say in the decisions and I think

0:03:38 > 0:03:48we should, because we are the ones that will be affected by it.

0:03:49 > 0:03:55Next, it's time to take a look at some very cheeky animals.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57This week we heard about a squirrel who stole chocolate,

0:03:57 > 0:04:00so we decided to bring together some of the animal world's

0:04:00 > 0:04:01biggest thieves.

0:04:01 > 0:04:02Watch this.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05This sneaky squirrel has developed a bit of a sweet tooth.

0:04:05 > 0:04:08It was caught stealing a chocolate bar and the owners in Canada say

0:04:08 > 0:04:13the animals have stolen more than 40 chocolate bars in all!

0:04:13 > 0:04:17Is this kitty the ultimate cat burglar?

0:04:17 > 0:04:20In two months, Bridget from New Zealand has stolen 11 pairs

0:04:20 > 0:04:25of underpants and more than 50 socks from her neighbours!

0:04:25 > 0:04:28Who stole all the pies?

0:04:28 > 0:04:28Who stole all the pies?

0:04:28 > 0:04:31A bear did, off a window in Colorado, USA, and helped himself

0:04:31 > 0:04:35to 38 pies before escaping back to the woods!

0:04:35 > 0:04:39Not all the pies were to their liking.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41Apparently cherry and apple were his favourites, but he wasn't

0:04:41 > 0:04:45keen on the strawberry and rhubarb.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47Monkeys seem to be the worst offenders -

0:04:47 > 0:04:49check out this one stealing a bundle of money from an Indian

0:04:49 > 0:04:53jewellery shop!

0:04:53 > 0:04:55The monkey later dropped the cash and dashed for freedom,

0:04:55 > 0:04:56and it was collected and returned to the shop owner.

0:04:56 > 0:05:01and it was collected and returned to the shop owner.

0:05:01 > 0:05:02Meet Bert, he is no ordinary tortoise!

0:05:02 > 0:05:05The 22-year-old was fitted with wheels to help him get

0:05:05 > 0:05:10about after injuring his back legs.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12The African spurred tortoise is now trundling

0:05:12 > 0:05:15happily around his home at the Dinosaur Adventure

0:05:15 > 0:05:16Park in Norwich.

0:05:16 > 0:05:18Wheel-y good news.

0:05:18 > 0:05:22Finally, did you know that dragons DO exist?

0:05:22 > 0:05:25Well, under the sea, anyway.

0:05:25 > 0:05:28This is the first sighting of a ruby sea-dragon in the wild.

0:05:28 > 0:05:30Researchers filmed the brightly coloured creatures

0:05:30 > 0:05:32in Western Australia.

0:05:32 > 0:05:34The ten-inch-long fish was declared a new species in 2015,

0:05:34 > 0:05:37making it only the third known sea dragon species.

0:05:37 > 0:05:43I bet waiting for that was really starting to drag-on!

0:05:44 > 0:05:45That's all from the team, for now.

0:05:45 > 0:05:50Newsround's back right here just after 1:30pm.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53Don't forget to go online to take our fantastic quiz of the week.

0:05:53 > 0:05:54FYI, question five is particularly tricky,

0:05:54 > 0:05:56but I'm sure you've got this.

0:05:56 > 0:06:00Bye!

0:06:05 > 0:06:07How many Blue Peter presenters does it take to change a light bulb?

0:06:07 > 0:06:09No, that doesn't really work.
