:00:19. > :00:20.been told it's not safe for them to return home yet.

:00:21. > :00:23.The area around the Oroville Dam was evacuated after a hole

:00:24. > :00:30.The Oroville Dam is in northern California.

:00:31. > :00:34.It's the tallest in America, at 230 metres, which is about the same

:00:35. > :00:39.as 15 double decker buses stacked on top of each other.

:00:40. > :00:42.A dam is a barrier that's built to hold back water.

:00:43. > :00:45.It can be used to generate electricity, supply homes,

:00:46. > :00:52.The Oroville Dam works by collecting rain water in a reservoir or a lake.

:00:53. > :00:54.But there's been heavy rain and snow recently,

:00:55. > :00:59.When something like this happens, a spillway,

:01:00. > :01:02.which looks a bit like a huge water slide, is used

:01:03. > :01:06.to release some of the water in a controlled way.

:01:07. > :01:08.But the heavy rain has damaged the spillway.

:01:09. > :01:15.There were worries it could have caused a huge wall of water to fall

:01:16. > :01:17.into the river below and flood the area.

:01:18. > :01:20.Thousands of people were ordered to leave their homes.

:01:21. > :01:27.They've now been told they can't return home yet.

:01:28. > :01:36.Getting those people home is important to me. I want that to

:01:37. > :01:40.happen as soon as possible. But I have to be able to sleep at night

:01:41. > :01:42.knowing that they are back in that area.

:01:43. > :01:44.Teams have been working to fix the problem.

:01:45. > :01:46.After draining some of the water, bags of rocks

:01:47. > :01:52.For now, the water levels in the lake have gone down

:01:53. > :01:56.but more rain is expected in the area this week.

:03:48. > :03:50.because at the end of the day we are running around with things

:03:54. > :03:55.sometimes games can go on for over an hour,

:03:59. > :04:03.for a new team that will be playing in the UK's quiddich

:04:04. > :04:07.Premier League this summer. This is a big deal, it's going to be

:04:08. > :04:10.taking the best players across the country together to form

:04:11. > :04:12.super-teams to play each other all throughout the summer,

:04:13. > :04:15.leading to a big event where the champion of the quiddich

:04:16. > :04:20.Premier League will be crowned. It's very open and people

:04:21. > :04:25.are extremely nice. There's so many different positions,

:04:26. > :04:28.there's something to suit everyone. Like, I'm not so good

:04:29. > :04:31.at the physical side of it, But I have got a decent throw on me,

:04:32. > :04:37.I can throw quite hard. With the right players, who knows,
