:00:25. > :00:32.Glasgow and many more have been holding tributes to show they care.

:00:33. > :00:34.The attack in the early hours of Sunday morning

:00:35. > :00:37.was the worst mass shooting in recent US history.

:00:38. > :00:40.Some people think rules around guns are to blame.

:00:41. > :00:47.Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history.

:00:48. > :00:52.This massacre is a further reminder of how easy it is for someone

:00:53. > :00:56.to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school,

:00:57. > :01:02.a place of worship, or a movie theatre or in a nightclub.

:01:03. > :01:07.And we need to decide if that's the country we want to be.

:01:08. > :01:08.That's the American President, Barack Obama,

:01:09. > :01:12.speaking after an attack in Orlando in the early hours of Sunday morning

:01:13. > :01:17.that killed 50 people and injured many more.

:01:18. > :01:20.It's not the first time he's spoken about the need for gun control.

:01:21. > :01:22.He's repeatedly made speeches like this

:01:23. > :01:35.every time there's been a large shooting in the US.

:01:36. > :01:37.That's because masss shootings are a big problem in America.

:01:38. > :01:39.For every 100 people in the United States,

:01:40. > :01:42.there are around 90 guns - compared to only 6 for every 100

:01:43. > :01:47.In America, it's relatively easy to get a gun if you're over 18.

:01:48. > :01:48.The rules are much tougher in the UK.

:01:49. > :01:51.The right to what's known as "keep and bear arms" was written

:01:52. > :01:54.into American law within years of the country being

:01:55. > :01:57.Back then, America didn't have a well-established army

:01:58. > :02:03.and people felt it was important to have the right to carry a weapon

:02:04. > :02:08.to keep order or in case the country was attacked.

:02:09. > :02:12.the United States is a very different place

:02:13. > :02:15.but many people there still see the right to own a gun

:02:16. > :02:18.as an important part of being American -

:02:19. > :02:21.and as a way of protecting themselves.

:02:22. > :02:23.They argue that it's not the law that's at fault,

:02:24. > :02:29.but a small number of people who use guns in the wrong way.

:02:30. > :02:31.But others disagree and want the law to change,

:02:32. > :02:33.saying that if fewer people had access to guns,

:02:34. > :02:40.President Obama wants it to be much harder to buy a gun

:02:41. > :02:41.and wants tougher background checks

:02:42. > :02:46.and police to assess if a person is suitable to own the weapon.

:02:47. > :02:48.But with such fierce opinions on both sides,

:02:49. > :02:53.it will be difficult to make any changes.

:02:54. > :02:55.Remember, if anything you see in the news upsets you,

:02:56. > :03:01.Tech news now, and thousands of video game fans

:03:02. > :03:04.are heading to Los Angeles in the US for E3 -

:03:05. > :03:08.a huge gaming show that takes place every year.

:03:09. > :03:10.It's the place where companies like Microsoft and Sony

:03:11. > :03:14.and there are always lots of surprises in store too.

:03:25. > :03:26.but this year something unusual happened -

:03:27. > :03:31.That is strange because they only usually come around

:03:32. > :03:36.And the Xbox One has only been out for three.

:03:37. > :03:38.Now, the first new Xbox that comes out this year

:03:39. > :03:42.It is a little bit smaller than the Xbox One

:03:43. > :03:45.and there is also a new one coming out next year, which

:03:46. > :03:48.Microsoft says will be more powerful and can run virtual reality games.

:03:49. > :03:51.Now, the PlayStation is already well ahead on that front.

:03:52. > :03:53.Sony says the PS4 is already powerful enough

:03:54. > :03:54.to run virtual reality games

:03:55. > :03:58.and it has a headset coming out in October.

:03:59. > :04:00.It has already been showing off loads of games

:04:01. > :04:04.And if you're not ready to buy a new console

:04:05. > :04:06.because you have only just bought one, don't worry.

:04:07. > :04:08.Microsoft just said all the new games that come out

:04:09. > :04:13.for the new Xboxes also run on the old ones.

:04:14. > :04:15.Finally, a tale of an unlikely friendship out at sea -

:04:16. > :04:19.who's going around the world with his companion...

:04:20. > :04:24.The French sailor wanted to take a pet on his journey for company,

:04:25. > :04:27.and he says Monique adapted to life at sea very well,
