:00:00. > :00:16.Hello. You're live with Newsround this Tuesday afternoon. I'm Leah

:00:17. > :00:19.with some of this on the way. Find out why these children have no

:00:20. > :00:27.problem with going into the sea. And the rabbits hopping for victory.

:00:28. > :00:30.This is Newsround. But first to Liverpool where a

:00:31. > :00:36.special memorial service has just finished at Anfield, Liverpool's

:00:37. > :00:39.football ground. It was to mark 25 years since a disaster in which 96

:00:40. > :00:43.Liverpool fans, who had gone to watch a match, lost their lives. The

:00:44. > :00:46.tragedy became known as the Hillsborough disaster. The families

:00:47. > :00:48.of the people who died say they're still fighting to find out what

:00:49. > :00:56.really happened that day. Here's Martin. Liverpool captain Steven

:00:57. > :01:01.Gerrard overcome with emotion after Sunday's win over Manchester City.

:01:02. > :01:06.He says it wasn't just down to his team taking a big step towards the

:01:07. > :01:09.Premier League title. It was also because of today's 25th anniversary

:01:10. > :01:19.of the Hillsborough disaster. His 10-year-old cousin was one of the

:01:20. > :01:22.people who died that day. On April 15, 1989, 96 Liverpool fans lost

:01:23. > :01:25.their lives after part of a stadium got overcrowded during an FA Cup

:01:26. > :01:29.semifinal. It happened at Hillsborough in Sheffield. Back

:01:30. > :01:32.then, there were barriers at the front to keep fans off the pitch.

:01:33. > :01:36.But this meant that many fans couldn't escape. 25 years on,

:01:37. > :01:42.families are still fighting to get answers to questions about how this

:01:43. > :01:45.tragedy happened. Investigations are still going on today, as the

:01:46. > :01:49.families say they want to get justice for their loved ones. The

:01:50. > :01:58.anniversary is a difficult day for them. It is like going to a funeral

:01:59. > :02:02.every year. You have the heartache that is their most of the time but

:02:03. > :02:06.it seems worse on the anniversary. The disaster had a major impact on

:02:07. > :02:09.the safety of football grounds. Standing isn't allowed in big

:02:10. > :02:12.stadiums any more and barriers and fences have been removed. This was

:02:13. > :02:17.all done in the hope that a tragedy like Hillsborough never happens

:02:18. > :02:21.again. Next if you're brave enough to take

:02:22. > :02:25.a dip in the sea this Easter, we've got some good news. A record number

:02:26. > :02:29.of UK beaches have achieved a top water quality award. It means more

:02:30. > :02:33.of our beaches are cleaner than they were last year. Ricky's spent the

:02:34. > :02:40.day on Formby beach in Merseyside to find out more.

:02:41. > :02:47.Sometimes I love to jump over the waves. I get to go in the sea. I go

:02:48. > :02:53.on the sand dunes. But it is freezing. There's nothing quite like

:02:54. > :03:06.a relaxing day by the coast, especially when the weather is this

:03:07. > :03:11.good. I am informed beware the beach has been given an excellent quality

:03:12. > :03:14.rating. Every Summer, between May and September The Marine

:03:15. > :03:17.Conservation Society test the quality of the water by taking a

:03:18. > :03:21.series of samples. They will come out with a plastic bottle and take

:03:22. > :03:30.samples and put it in the van and drive off to the lab. They say 548

:03:31. > :03:32.out of 734 UK beaches reached the top standard for water quality

:03:33. > :03:35.including beaches in Cornwall, Pembrokeshire in Wales and The

:03:36. > :03:38.highlands in Scotland. And a lot of the improvements are down to the

:03:39. > :03:42.weather. When you get sunshine, the UV berms of bacteria in the sea and

:03:43. > :03:46.it helps and with less rain you get less water running off the land and

:03:47. > :03:49.washing pollutants into the sea. Heavy rainfall can contaminate the

:03:50. > :03:53.sea. Many sewers carry both human waste and rain water and if they

:03:54. > :03:56.become overloaded after a heavy downpour some of that dirty water

:03:57. > :04:06.can overspill into rivers and the sea. The results were taken last

:04:07. > :04:13.summer. How do we know our beaches are still keen? Checked the website.

:04:14. > :04:18.The Marine conservation Society will continue to put pressure on those

:04:19. > :04:26.who look after the water to make sure the sea is less polluted, so

:04:27. > :04:30.that we can enjoy days like this. Now while most of you were still in

:04:31. > :04:33.bed this morning people in America got to witness this rare sight The

:04:34. > :04:37.moon changed colour from orange to red in a total lunar eclipse and it

:04:38. > :04:40.lasted for about three hours. The spectacular sight happens when the

:04:41. > :04:43.earth's shadow falls across the moon and because of the change in colour

:04:44. > :04:47.some people call this unusual sight the blood moon.

:04:48. > :04:50.And we couldn't leave without a mention of the bunny hopping

:04:51. > :04:53.competition in the Czech Republic. Pet owners led their rabbits around

:04:54. > :04:56.the course which organisers say was inspired by horse jumping. The race

:04:57. > :04:59.ended early though because a hail storm swept through the city of

:05:00. > :05:03.Prague where the race was being held.

:05:04. > :05:04.That's all for now but join me at 6:50pm to find
