:01:31. > :01:58.This is the Jorvik Centre, one of the most popular museums in the UK

:01:59. > :02:04.and it is all about these guys, Vikings. They are finally reopening

:02:05. > :02:10.after severe flooding forced to close down. When the floodwaters

:02:11. > :02:13.came in there was nowhere for the water to escape and some parts of

:02:14. > :02:17.the Museum the water was about one metre high and caused a lot of

:02:18. > :02:24.damage, but look at it now. Tell us what happened. Most of us were at

:02:25. > :02:27.home enjoying Christmas when I got the call to say water was coming in

:02:28. > :02:35.the back door and then recalled in the conservation team to come and

:02:36. > :02:40.get the objects, 1000 objects, and we had to get them all to safety.

:02:41. > :02:45.Luckily everything in sight was saved. Some of the items in here are

:02:46. > :02:50.priceless. How have you got to the stage. A lot of hard work and a lot

:02:51. > :02:55.of people involved but we decided early on we wanted to do something

:02:56. > :02:59.different. Schoolchildren have been coming here for more than 30 years,

:03:00. > :03:11.what do they make the changes? I was a very sad because it is a very cool

:03:12. > :03:13.place and the lot of the sites could have been damaged. It was amazing

:03:14. > :03:17.how civilised we were then, but the smells were very disgusting. It

:03:18. > :03:23.brought the fighting period to live and there were lots of interesting

:03:24. > :03:30.things. -- the Viking period to life. They have worked hard to

:03:31. > :03:36.preserve this museum so everyone can continue to see what the Vikings

:03:37. > :03:38.dead many years ago. -- what they did.

:03:51. > :03:52.a pretty cool way of learning more about whales who live

:03:53. > :04:01.This is not a view you get to see every day and that is because it is

:04:02. > :04:07.Scientists have found a new way of seeing whales

:04:08. > :04:12.in their natural habitat using a special type of camera called...

:04:13. > :04:22.They are attached to the whale's back using suction cups like this.

:04:23. > :04:24.This allows scientists to record astounding images.

:04:25. > :04:28.It gives them a glimpse some of their life under the sea and

:04:29. > :04:31.how they behave, how they interact with other whales and where the feed

:04:32. > :04:35.The camera tags stay on each whale for between

:04:36. > :04:39.24 and 48 hours until they drop off and are collected by the scientists.

:04:40. > :04:41.The information they get is very important because it helps protect

:04:42. > :04:49.the whales and the areas they feed in.

:04:50. > :04:51.Sport now, and we're sending a massive
