0:00:11 > 0:00:14Hi, I'm Hayley with your Wednesday afternoon Newsround.

0:00:14 > 0:00:17First up to footie and the Euros.

0:00:17 > 0:00:20I can tell you that Slovakia have just won 3-1 against Russia.

0:00:20 > 0:00:24It should be an exciting time, but a lot of people are worried

0:00:24 > 0:00:25I can tell you that Slovakia have just won 2-1 against Russia.

0:00:27 > 0:00:30It should be an exciting time, but a lot of people are worried

0:00:30 > 0:00:32about fans fighting each other - after violence between Russian

0:00:32 > 0:00:34and English fans in Marseille on Saturday.

0:00:34 > 0:00:35Jenny is live in Lille now.

0:00:35 > 0:00:37Jenny, it must be an exciting atmosphere over there,

0:00:37 > 0:00:45but are the fans behaving?

0:00:45 > 0:00:46Hi, Hayley.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48The atmosphere is fairly relaxed today.

0:00:48 > 0:00:50One big difference from yesterday is that it's starting

0:00:50 > 0:00:51to get really busy.

0:00:51 > 0:00:53100,000 football fans are expected here and the square

0:00:53 > 0:00:55behind me has been filling up with people.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58Another thing I've noticed is that police

0:00:58 > 0:01:00are everywhere in the city centre.

0:01:00 > 0:01:05I counted 16 big armoured police vans driving past earlier.

0:01:05 > 0:01:08And chatting to locals, you can tell they're a bit tense,

0:01:08 > 0:01:11but one cafe owner told me he's still excited that France is hosting

0:01:11 > 0:01:16the Euros.

0:01:16 > 0:01:23England fans I've just spoken to said they decided not

0:01:23 > 0:01:26to wear their England shirts today, because they felt it might make them

0:01:26 > 0:01:29targets for Russian fans looking for trouble,

0:01:29 > 0:01:32But Uefa, the organisation in charge of European football have

0:01:32 > 0:01:34warned they could be disqualified if there's any more violence.

0:01:34 > 0:01:36England fans I've just spoken to said they decided not

0:01:36 > 0:01:39to wear their England shirts today and some that had tickets

0:01:39 > 0:01:42to watch Russia v Slovakia, have actually decided not to go,

0:01:42 > 0:01:47so people are definitely being more cautious.

0:01:47 > 0:01:51As more fans arrive ahead of England v Wales tomorrow,

0:01:51 > 0:01:55I'll be bringing you the latest, on Newsround.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57Thanks, Jenny.

0:01:57 > 0:02:00And if you want to learn more about the problems between fans

0:02:00 > 0:02:03in France, then go online - where Jenny's been looking into

0:02:03 > 0:02:05the history of violence in football.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08In other Euros news, Iceland had a good day on the pitch

0:02:08 > 0:02:14yesterday as they drew 1-all against Portugal.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16yesterday as they drew 1-1 against Portugal.

0:02:16 > 0:02:19It was Birkir Bjarnson who scored in the 50th minute.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21For a country that only has 300,000 people living there,

0:02:21 > 0:02:24that's about the same number of people as live in Leicester,

0:02:24 > 0:02:27this draw was a pretty big deal for them.

0:02:27 > 0:02:31Next today, you may have been hearing a lot about immigration.

0:02:31 > 0:02:34It's when people leave their comes and come to the UK to live or work.

0:02:34 > 0:02:39It's a major talking point ahead of next week's big vote

0:02:39 > 0:02:42on whether the UK should stay in or leave a club of countries

0:02:42 > 0:02:44called the European Union.

0:02:44 > 0:02:51Here's Ricky.

0:02:51 > 0:02:53This is Southampton on the south coast of England.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56It's famous for its major port, where ships take goods to Europe

0:02:56 > 0:02:58and the rest of the world.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00This part of Southampton has seen a lot

0:03:00 > 0:03:07of changes in the past ten years or so.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10These days, it has lots of shops, like this one, which opened

0:03:10 > 0:03:12up to serve the Polish people who moved over

0:03:12 > 0:03:18here over the last few years.

0:03:18 > 0:03:24You can hear people speaking a variety of different languages.

0:03:24 > 0:03:27Now one in ten people living here came from a different country

0:03:27 > 0:03:28within the European Union.

0:03:28 > 0:03:34That's much higher than in most other parts of the UK.

0:03:34 > 0:03:37I'm Polish and I moved here when I was three.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40Hello, I was born in England and I am a little bit Italian.

0:03:40 > 0:03:42I'm Leo, I'm mainly English, but I have

0:03:42 > 0:03:45a tiny bit of Welsh in me.

0:03:45 > 0:03:47At this school, there are kids from more

0:03:47 > 0:03:48than 30 different countries.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50Many of them inside the European Union.

0:03:50 > 0:03:54There is a whole range of languages spoken here, too.

0:03:54 > 0:03:56I've come here to find out what these kids think about

0:03:56 > 0:04:00immigration.

0:04:00 > 0:04:01ALL: Yeah!

0:04:01 > 0:04:04I think immigration is good, because other people who can afford

0:04:04 > 0:04:06to live in their own country can come here

0:04:06 > 0:04:07and live.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10It is kind of bad at the same time, because we are getting

0:04:10 > 0:04:11quite full over here.

0:04:11 > 0:04:13A lot of immigrants come to get a better

0:04:13 > 0:04:16life, but that might have a negative impact on people who already live

0:04:16 > 0:04:19here.

0:04:19 > 0:04:22We have lived as British.

0:04:22 > 0:04:24We have lived here and then new people

0:04:24 > 0:04:25is obviously a change.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27Some people do not like change.

0:04:27 > 0:04:30They are coming over to help us and they are

0:04:30 > 0:04:31working.

0:04:31 > 0:04:34So we are coming as a team and it is making it better.

0:04:34 > 0:04:36I think immigration is good, as long as it

0:04:36 > 0:04:37is controlled.

0:04:37 > 0:04:39What kind of impact do you think it can have?

0:04:39 > 0:04:42Hospitals could be full and not everyone could

0:04:42 > 0:04:43get the help that they need.

0:04:43 > 0:04:45Jobs, again there is not enough jobs to go

0:04:45 > 0:04:48around for everyone.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51It could give people an opportunity to study here

0:04:51 > 0:04:53and to get opportunities to do different things that they wouldn't

0:04:53 > 0:04:56usually do.

0:04:56 > 0:04:59That is what they think.

0:04:59 > 0:05:01Campaigners who want the UK to leave the European Union

0:05:01 > 0:05:03think the number of

0:05:03 > 0:05:06people arriving from other EU countries is getting out of control

0:05:06 > 0:05:08and is having a bad effect on schools and hospitals.

0:05:08 > 0:05:13Those who want the UK to stay in disagree.

0:05:13 > 0:05:16They say immigrants help to pay towards public services.

0:05:16 > 0:05:19Over the last week, I have spoken to loads of

0:05:19 > 0:05:22children in Poland and here in the UK about what they think of

0:05:22 > 0:05:23immigration.

0:05:23 > 0:05:31It is one of the most important and controversial issues

0:05:31 > 0:05:34if the UK should remain In or Leave the European Union on the 23rd of

0:05:34 > 0:05:38June.

0:05:38 > 0:05:40That's all from me.

0:05:40 > 0:05:47Newsround's back right here tomorrow with Ayshah.
