:00:29. > :00:31.First to the sad news of an attack in the French

:00:32. > :00:35.It happened last night during a large firework display

:00:36. > :00:41.I've been finding out what happened and how it's not the first time

:00:42. > :00:47.Last night should've been full of celebrations in France,

:00:48. > :00:53.But in Nice, a city in the south of France,

:00:54. > :00:56.there was a terrible attack on people celebrating.

:00:57. > :01:00.into the crowds of people who were watching

:01:01. > :01:08.He was quickly stopped and killed by police

:01:09. > :01:11.but at least 84 people have died and around 50 more were injured.

:01:12. > :01:14.Emergency services arrived quickly on the scene to help those

:01:15. > :01:19.France's president has called it a terrorist attack.

:01:20. > :01:22.Sadly it's not the first time something like this

:01:23. > :01:30.In January last year, people working at the Charlie Hebdo

:01:31. > :01:31.magazine were targeted, as well as people in

:01:32. > :01:35.And then in November there were a number of attacks

:01:36. > :01:43.The extremist group that calls itself Islamic State -

:01:44. > :01:46.or IS - have said they had carried out those attacks but it's not

:01:47. > :01:49.yet known who's behind what happened in Nice.

:01:50. > :01:53.But why are these attacks happening in France?

:01:54. > :01:56.IS have an extreme view of the religion of Islam which means

:01:57. > :02:07.they believe that democracies like France are their enemy.

:02:08. > :02:14.The French military has bombed Islamic State

:02:15. > :02:18.in its bases in Iraq and Syria, and IS has said that the terror

:02:19. > :02:21.Attacks like this are always shocking but it's important

:02:22. > :02:23.to remember that events like this are extremely rare.

:02:24. > :02:27.France will have three days of mourning to remember the victims.

:02:28. > :02:31.France's president has also said they will improve security to help

:02:32. > :02:35.keep people living there and those visiting the country safe.

:04:46. > :04:50.cup of tea with a bit of salad, cheese and biscuits. That is all you

:04:51. > :04:52.want because you really feeling great. Now I am looking forward to
