0:00:10 > 0:00:13by the California wildfires,

0:00:13 > 0:00:18the space discovery that's out of this world, and why this tree's

0:00:18 > 0:00:28been on a very long journey.

0:00:31 > 0:00:33Let's start with some fun movie news by heading

0:00:33 > 0:00:35to a galaxy far, far away.

0:00:35 > 0:00:38You sent us hundreds of amazing questions

0:00:38 > 0:00:41for the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

0:00:41 > 0:00:43The film is out now!

0:00:43 > 0:00:46So I went to meet some of the film's stars to get some

0:00:46 > 0:00:48answers just for you.

0:00:48 > 0:00:55Ten-year-old Porsche and Thomas, they want to know...

0:00:55 > 0:00:57The lightsaber.

0:00:57 > 0:00:59I would say, hands down, it's the lightsaber.

0:00:59 > 0:01:01Why is that?

0:01:01 > 0:01:02I don't know.

0:01:02 > 0:01:04It's a good can opener.

0:01:04 > 0:01:07Having lunch with storm troopers, that's pretty cool.

0:01:07 > 0:01:08Seeing storm troopers eat lunch is amazing.

0:01:08 > 0:01:13Yeah, that's the coolest thing.

0:01:13 > 0:01:14Yeah, that's the coolest thing.

0:01:14 > 0:01:16Can you describe Star Wars: The Last Jedi in three noises?

0:01:16 > 0:01:19R2-D2 BLEEPS AND WHISTLES

0:01:19 > 0:01:22Beatrice in Worcestershire, she says...

0:01:22 > 0:01:26Beatrice in Worcestershire, she says...

0:01:26 > 0:01:29Beatrice, yes, it is.

0:01:29 > 0:01:30Beatrice, yes, it is.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32It's the most fun thing in the world, playing evil,

0:01:32 > 0:01:35because you then try to be nicer in real life.

0:01:35 > 0:01:36And sometimes succeed, sometimes fail.

0:01:36 > 0:01:37I don't think of him as bad.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39That's an actor answer.

0:01:39 > 0:01:42But I like the character, and I definitely as a child

0:01:42 > 0:01:49preferred the dark side to the light.

0:01:55 > 0:01:58You could use the mind trick, the Jedi mind trick on your teachers

0:01:58 > 0:02:00if you wanted to really get a good grade.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02I didn't say that.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05I would definitely destroy all nuclear weapons that exist.

0:02:05 > 0:02:06That's a lovely, sensible answer.

0:02:06 > 0:02:08I know, yeah.

0:02:08 > 0:02:10I was like, "Make the commute to work easier."

0:02:10 > 0:02:12But probably the nuclear weapons think is more responsible,

0:02:12 > 0:02:14so I'll go along with that.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16Emily from Huddersfield, because we were talking

0:02:16 > 0:02:18about lightsabers so much.

0:02:18 > 0:02:18about lightsabers so much.

0:02:18 > 0:02:23She wants to know...

0:02:23 > 0:02:25I do, yeah.

0:02:25 > 0:02:26No way! Yeah.

0:02:26 > 0:02:28Emily, that's so cool.

0:02:28 > 0:02:30Yeah, I have a helmet and the lightsaber that I have.

0:02:30 > 0:02:33That you have in your house, just in the kitchen?

0:02:33 > 0:02:35Just in a box in the storage base, because I'm not sure

0:02:35 > 0:02:37what to do with it.

0:02:37 > 0:02:39But I'll figure out something to do with it.

0:02:39 > 0:02:43I'll put it front and centre as people walk in the door.

0:02:49 > 0:02:51I'd like a gold one to match my gold robe.

0:02:51 > 0:02:53Unprecedented!

0:02:53 > 0:02:55Wow!

0:02:55 > 0:02:57OK.

0:02:57 > 0:02:59I want a three-part green, white and orange one.

0:02:59 > 0:03:01You know the way there has been the double one.

0:03:01 > 0:03:03I want one with three, just for the Irish flag.

0:03:10 > 0:03:11A very direct question.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14It's fun, it's funny, it's exciting.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17Like a good Star Wars movie, you're going to come out of it

0:03:17 > 0:03:20at the end and you're going to want to go home,

0:03:20 > 0:03:21grab your toys and start playing with them.

0:03:21 > 0:03:27That's what we're aiming for with this movie.

0:03:27 > 0:03:31A very exciting real space discovery now.

0:03:31 > 0:03:35NASA has found a second solar system with as many planets as ours.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38Scientists found this out by using the Kepler Space Telescope

0:03:38 > 0:03:40and artificial intelligence.

0:03:40 > 0:03:46The solar system is about 2,500 light years away.

0:03:46 > 0:03:51In America, Justin Bieber says he wants to help all of those people

0:03:51 > 0:03:53who've been affected by the wildfires in California.

0:03:53 > 0:03:56Tens of thousands of people have had to leave their homes.

0:03:56 > 0:04:02He says he's coming up with a plan to work out the best way to help.

0:04:02 > 0:04:09Obviously I'm not a fireman, but I can use my resources to figure

0:04:09 > 0:04:12out ways to get some sort of restoration,

0:04:12 > 0:04:15and in the meantime all the families and all the people

0:04:15 > 0:04:22who are struggling, just know that everything's going to be OK.

0:04:22 > 0:04:24Last up, hands up if you love a Christmas tree.

0:04:24 > 0:04:26I certainly do.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Take a look at how this tree travels all the way from Oslo

0:04:29 > 0:04:31in Norway to Trafalgar Square in Central London,

0:04:31 > 0:04:38especially for Christmas.

0:04:38 > 0:04:40This is the most famous Christmas tree in Britain.

0:04:40 > 0:04:45Since 1947, Norway has given a Christmas tree to the UK

0:04:45 > 0:04:47as a thanks for helping to hide the Norwegian royal family

0:04:47 > 0:04:49during World War II.

0:04:49 > 0:04:53This year is the 70th year Norway has given a tree to the UK.

0:04:53 > 0:04:56I'm here today to read the poem for the Christmas tree.

0:04:56 > 0:04:59We wrote poems about friendship and Christmas trees,

0:04:59 > 0:05:03and sent them off to the writer AF Harrold, and he used our poems

0:05:03 > 0:05:10as inspiration to write the poem we're reading tonight.

0:05:10 > 0:05:23This tree is a Norwegian spruce, and a whopping 21 metres high.

0:05:23 > 0:05:24It comes from a forest

0:05:24 > 0:05:27just outside of Norway's capital, Oslo.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30This tree travelled over 1,000 miles across

0:05:30 > 0:05:36land and sea, before finally arriving in London.

0:05:36 > 0:05:44Merry Christmas!

0:05:44 > 0:05:47That's all from me for this whole year.

0:05:47 > 0:05:50Have a fantastic Christmas.
