:00:10. > :00:14.It's Wednesday afternoon, I'm Nel and this is Newsround. In the next

:00:14. > :00:19.five minutes: A helicopter crashes in central London, killing two

:00:19. > :00:27.people and leaving several injured. And the supermarket beef burgers

:00:27. > :00:31.made with horsemeat. First to that helicopter crash in

:00:31. > :00:34.central London this morning. The accident happened in Vauxhall just

:00:34. > :00:38.across the River Tames from the Houses of Parliament. Police say

:00:38. > :00:43.two people including the pilot died in the crash, and a further 12 have

:00:43. > :00:47.been injured. I've been following the story.

:00:47. > :00:50.8.00am and the emergency services start getting calls saying a

:00:50. > :00:55.helicopter has crashed in central London. I heard the helicopter

:00:55. > :00:58.flying around and then I heard a bang and I looked out and I see

:00:58. > :01:03.bits and pieces flying around. scene of the accident was Vauxhall,

:01:03. > :01:06.a really busy part of London for people getting to work. It was

:01:06. > :01:11.foggy morning. Police think the helicopter hit a crane on what's

:01:11. > :01:15.set to be one of Europe's tallest residential building, St George's

:01:15. > :01:19.Tower. No-one was working in the crane at the time. The news started

:01:19. > :01:24.to spread, with people taking pictures and videos on their mobile

:01:24. > :01:29.phones and uploading them on to the web. In London. Ambulance Service,

:01:29. > :01:34.London Fire Brigade and un Fritz the Metropolitan Police were

:01:34. > :01:39.quickly in attendance within minutes. All of the fires are now

:01:39. > :01:43.extinguished. At that time in the morning it is amazing that more

:01:43. > :01:49.people weren't hurt. Accidents like this are really rare. The lis are

:01:49. > :01:53.carrying out an investigation to find out what happened. OK, these

:01:53. > :01:58.meaty snacks may look tasty but investigations are under way to

:01:58. > :02:04.find out ho beef burgers became contaminated with horsemeat, not

:02:04. > :02:10.something you would expect to find in a frozen burger. The ingredients

:02:11. > :02:14.for your average supermarket beef burger: Beef, water, wheat, flour,

:02:14. > :02:19.sugar, horsemeat? Recent tests by the Food Safety Authority of

:02:19. > :02:25.Ireland have found that more than a third of the frozen beef burgers

:02:25. > :02:35.they looked at contained horse DNA. Now several snuments the UK and

:02:35. > :02:37.

:02:37. > :02:41.Ireland have had to take those One sample from Tesco contained 29%

:02:41. > :02:44.horsemeat. There are no health risks from horsemeat. In fact it is

:02:44. > :02:49.commonly eat no-one many countries around the world, including Italy,

:02:49. > :02:53.Mexico and Japan. But most people here would be shocked to find out

:02:53. > :02:57.their burgers contained horsemeat, especially when it is described as

:02:57. > :03:02.a beef burger. There are lots of different stages of process when

:03:02. > :03:09.meats can be mixed by accident. There is the abattoir, where the

:03:09. > :03:12.animals are killed, and the factories. These are make -- these

:03:12. > :03:17.will make loads of different products, but the levels we are

:03:17. > :03:23.talking about has huge. I'm shocked that this amount of an unusual

:03:23. > :03:30.amount finds Norman Smith a beef burger. Tests showed that 85% of

:03:30. > :03:35.the product had traces of DNA. Tesco has launched its own

:03:36. > :03:40.investigation to try and find out ho this hands. It says in future if

:03:40. > :03:44.merbz buy beef burgers they will only be tucking into beef.

:03:45. > :03:48.Next, show has continued to cause travel problems on the roads.

:03:48. > :03:52.Hundreds of schools in Norfolk are closed because of the weather.

:03:52. > :03:55.There has been heavy snow as temperatures fell below freezing in

:03:56. > :04:03.many parts of the UK. East Anglia is one of the worst affected years,

:04:03. > :04:06.with a low of minus 13 Celsius recorded last night. 260 schools in

:04:06. > :04:11.Norfolk have been closed today. People have been told not to travel

:04:11. > :04:16.unless it is really necessary. But the disruption hasn't stopped some

:04:16. > :04:24.of you from enjoying the snow. We have a photo gallery of you out in

:04:24. > :04:28.the white stuff. Send us your snaps if it is snowing where you are.

:04:28. > :04:33.From our ice cold weather to a scorching performance in Australia,

:04:33. > :04:36.as British tennis ace Heather Watson staged another stunning

:04:36. > :04:42.comeback to book a place in the third round of the Australian Open.
