:00:00. > :00:13.Thanks for stopping by, guys. It's Thursday evening - you're with
:00:14. > :00:17.Newsround live on CBBC. I'm Ayshah, and first up tonight,
:00:18. > :00:24.how important is the name of the football team you support? The owner
:00:25. > :00:28.of Hull City says he'll leave the club within 24 hours, and pull out
:00:29. > :00:31.all of his money unless the FA agree to rebrand the club Hull Tigers.
:00:32. > :00:35.Leah's been to the KC Stadium in Hull to find out more.
:00:36. > :00:38.When it comes to football the name of your team means everything.
:00:39. > :00:44.Imagine Manchester United officially changing their name to The
:00:45. > :00:48.Manchester Devils. Well, here at Hull City, the boss wants to rebrand
:00:49. > :00:52.this Premier League side as the Hull Tigers. And that's caused a bit of a
:00:53. > :00:56.row. The club's owner, Aseem Allam, is the man who wants to make the
:00:57. > :01:00.changes. He's lived in Hull for 40 years and he's been in charge of the
:01:01. > :01:04.club since 2010. He put tens of millions into the club which has
:01:05. > :01:08.helped Hull City make their way to the top flight. Yesterday the owner
:01:09. > :01:12.threatened to quit if he doesn't get his way. He reckons the word City
:01:13. > :01:17.sounds lousy and common and the word Tiger would make the club more
:01:18. > :01:24.money. But does the name of your team really make a difference?
:01:25. > :01:34.Because he has got their money he can do what he wants. At doesn't
:01:35. > :01:39.really matter what they are called. I don't like the change because it
:01:40. > :01:45.is really weird. We will be chanting the Tigers. It's not the first time
:01:46. > :01:48.a football club has made a drastic change. Cardiff City went from blue
:01:49. > :01:51.to red and even changed their main logo from a bluebird to a red
:01:52. > :01:55.dragon. Newcastle United changed the name of their stadium from St James'
:01:56. > :01:59.Park to the Sports Direct Arena to make more cash. Although it's now
:02:00. > :02:06.changed back to St James' Park again. It is the Football
:02:07. > :02:13.Association who will have the final say.
:02:14. > :02:17.Next - we found out today which movies are up for the biggest
:02:18. > :02:20.showbiz prize of all - an Oscar! The Space adventure movie Gravity got an
:02:21. > :02:24.incredible ten nominations including Best Picture and Best Actress. And
:02:25. > :02:27.the Disney film Frozen - with its snow princess and talking snowman,
:02:28. > :02:30.will go up against Despicable Me two and its minions and the prehistoric
:02:31. > :02:37.comedy The Croods in the Best Animation category. And if you love
:02:38. > :02:41.your movies, then head to the Newsround website. We've got a guide
:02:42. > :02:46.to all the top kids' films for 2014. There's big news about Despicable Me
:02:47. > :02:49.three. Oh, yes, and some very cute baby polar bears.
:02:50. > :02:53.That's all from Newsround for today. Leah will be here at 7.40 in the
:02:54. > :02:56.morning to bring you right up to date before school. Have a great
:02:57. > :03:01.night, and see you soon. Bye!
