0:01:16 > 0:01:18Fernando Alonso maybe?

0:01:18 > 0:01:20One thing these guys all have in common is that

0:01:20 > 0:01:22they're, well, guys!

0:01:22 > 0:01:25But Newsround recently went to catch up with one girl who's

0:01:25 > 0:01:26looking to change that.

0:01:26 > 0:01:32This is Jamie Chadwick.

0:02:07 > 0:02:10The last few people I've taken out haven't dealt with that well at all.

0:02:10 > 0:02:12They've been fainting, passing out...

0:02:12 > 0:02:13Jamie!

0:02:13 > 0:02:15So this is Silverstone, it's the home of British motorsport.

0:02:15 > 0:02:17It's where they have the Grand Prix.

0:02:17 > 0:02:20We're going to go on the circuit that they do the F1.

0:02:20 > 0:02:21It's really cool.

0:02:21 > 0:02:22Yeah, coming out onto the circuit now.

0:02:22 > 0:02:23Oh, my gosh!

0:02:23 > 0:02:24It's so fast!

0:02:24 > 0:02:29How did you realise you had a passion for racing?

0:02:29 > 0:02:32I guess before I started karting, I didn't follow motorsport that

0:02:32 > 0:02:34much, so I didn't really know much about it, but as soon

0:02:34 > 0:02:38as I first got in a go-kart, pretty much that was me done,

0:02:38 > 0:02:39that's exactly what I wanted to do.

0:02:39 > 0:02:44Oh, I love this.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47What would it be like if you got into Formula One?

0:02:47 > 0:02:50A dream come true, really.

0:02:50 > 0:02:54It's what you work for, it's what I really want to achieve,

0:02:54 > 0:02:57it's what sets the bar for every young driver, you want to be there,

0:02:57 > 0:03:00racing against the greats, you want to be the best

0:03:00 > 0:03:01in the world.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04Do you want me to do a faster lap?

0:03:04 > 0:03:09Yeah, go on, then!

0:03:09 > 0:03:12Oh, it's so fast!

0:03:12 > 0:03:13Oh, my gosh!

0:03:13 > 0:03:21It's so fast!

0:03:21 > 0:03:22Jamie, that was so much fun.

0:03:22 > 0:03:23I've got helmet hair, though.

0:03:23 > 0:03:27How do you get rid of that?

0:03:27 > 0:03:29You don't, you just have it for life.

0:03:29 > 0:03:30You're such an amazing driver.

0:03:30 > 0:03:33Why do you think it's so male-dominated, this sport,

0:03:33 > 0:03:35and do you think it can change in the future?

0:03:35 > 0:03:37I'm really hoping it can change.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40Obviously there aren't many women involved in the sport at the moment,

0:03:40 > 0:03:43but when people realise that women can be involved and just as good

0:03:43 > 0:03:46as the men if not better, in my opinion, I'm hoping more

0:03:46 > 0:03:53women get involved.

0:03:56 > 0:04:00Now if your mum or dad shops at Iceland, you might see a few

0:04:00 > 0:04:01changes over the next few years.

0:04:01 > 0:04:04The supermarket says it's getting get rid of plastic packaging

0:04:04 > 0:04:06from their own products within the next five years.

0:04:06 > 0:04:07Instead, they'll replace it with paper.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10Pollution from plastic waste is a big worry at the moment.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13Plastic in the world's oceans has been under the spotlight

0:04:13 > 0:04:14because of programmes like Blue Planet.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17It can harm or even kill wildlife.

0:04:17 > 0:04:19Now have you ever seen anything like this?

0:04:19 > 0:04:22The referee bumps into a player and then...

0:04:22 > 0:04:30kicks him!

0:04:31 > 0:04:32Let's see it again.

0:04:32 > 0:04:35The referee then sent the player off with a second yellow card.

0:04:35 > 0:04:36Well, now the referee's been suspended

0:04:36 > 0:04:39and that yellow card has been cancelled.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41Next, we're talking about manhole covers.

0:04:41 > 0:04:43Yeah, that's right!

0:04:43 > 0:04:45Not a subject Newsround would usually get excited by,

0:04:45 > 0:04:53but take a look at this.

0:04:53 > 0:04:56Tired of boring, dull roads?

0:04:56 > 0:04:57Think they need brightening up?

0:05:19 > 0:05:22Now check out this wallaby in Sydney in Australia.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24It was first spotted on the famous Harbour Bridge

0:05:24 > 0:05:26at five in the morning.

0:05:26 > 0:05:29It happily hopped along in front of a police car

0:05:29 > 0:05:33at about 30 miles an hour.

0:05:33 > 0:05:34After several miles, officers managed to move

0:05:34 > 0:05:36it safely off the road

0:05:36 > 0:05:41and took it to a zoo where it wouldn't be in the way of traffic.

0:05:41 > 0:05:44Just enough time to tell you to head online, where you can find out how

0:05:44 > 0:05:45a black hole burps.

0:05:45 > 0:05:46I'm not even joking.
