:00:00. > :00:08.Hi. I'm Leah, live from the Newsround studio. Coming up on
:00:09. > :00:11.today's show: We look back at one of the most exciting Six Nations
:00:12. > :00:14.Championships in years. And keep watching to find out what
:00:15. > :00:24.turned this river green. Only on Newsround.
:00:25. > :00:27.First, our main story. The people of Crimea are today voting on whether
:00:28. > :00:31.the region should stay part of the Ukraine or rejoin Russia. Most of
:00:32. > :00:34.the people living in Crimea believe they're Russian, and voters are
:00:35. > :00:39.expected to support leaving the Ukraine. But the vote has been
:00:40. > :00:43.called illegal by the government in Kiev, and by countries like the
:00:44. > :00:46.United States. The vote comes during a violent few months for Ukraine
:00:47. > :00:49.that have caused some massive changes in the country, including
:00:50. > :00:55.the removal of President Viktor Yanukovych from power. And for lots
:00:56. > :00:58.more information about the situation in Ukraine, head over to the
:00:59. > :01:02.Newsround website for our in-depth guide.
:01:03. > :01:04.Irish hero Brain O'Driscoll capped off his remarkable international
:01:05. > :01:12.career with a second Six Nations trophy, after a thrilling 22-20
:01:13. > :01:14.victory over France. BOD, as he's known to his team-mates and fans,
:01:15. > :01:18.put in a man-of-the-match performance as Ireland won in Paris
:01:19. > :01:23.for only the second time in 42 years.
:01:24. > :01:27.He said it proves fairy tales do come true. Brian O'Driscoll's
:01:28. > :01:34.finished his international rugby career, and will surely be
:01:35. > :01:37.remembered an Irish champion. Knowing they could spoil the party
:01:38. > :01:41.with a win, the French team raced into a 6-nil lead, but then Jonny
:01:42. > :01:49.Sexton finally found a way through the tough blue defence. As did
:01:50. > :01:53.Andrew Trimble a few minutes later. There was a scare right at the end
:01:54. > :01:55.when the French had what would have been a winning try ruled out for a
:01:56. > :02:05.forward pass. Earlier in the day, England had done
:02:06. > :02:08.their best to win the championship, thrashing Italy 52-11. Stuart
:02:09. > :02:11.Lancaster's side had had a good tournament, and despite falling
:02:12. > :02:14.short this time, they will go into next year's World Cup in good
:02:15. > :02:18.spirits. In the day's other game, a red card for Scotland's Stuart Hogg
:02:19. > :02:22.played a big part in the side's collapse against Wales. Last year's
:02:23. > :02:29.Six Nations champions blew away the Scots, winning by 51-3. But in the
:02:30. > :02:31.end, this was Ireland's day, as they said goodbye to one of their
:02:32. > :02:39.greatest ever players. And there's another farewell today -
:02:40. > :02:42.this time in Sochi - as we wave goodbye to the Winter Paralympics.
:02:43. > :02:45.The British team leave the Russian city with six medals. Over on the
:02:46. > :02:48.Newsround website, you've been telling us your highlights from the
:02:49. > :02:53.Games. Farsya from Birmingham says, "I loved it when Kelly Gallagher won
:02:54. > :02:56.gold in the super-G. It was so inspiring!" And Bethany from
:02:57. > :03:00.Scotland says that her favourite moment of the Paralympics was when
:03:01. > :03:03.Jade Etherington won a medal. And Sarah says she's loved it all,
:03:04. > :03:06.particularly the snowboarding, and she can't wait for the closing
:03:07. > :03:11.ceremony tonight. Thanks so much for all those comments. Keep them coming
:03:12. > :03:14.in. There are two huge games in the
:03:15. > :03:17.Premier League later today. Although out of the title race themselves,
:03:18. > :03:20.Manchester United will be hoping to get one over free-scoring Liverpool
:03:21. > :03:23.when they play host to the Merseysiders at Old Trafford. And
:03:24. > :03:27.then later this afternoon, Arsenal take on arch rivals Tottenham. And
:03:28. > :03:31.with a look ahead to that game, here's a special report from number
:03:32. > :03:36.one Spurs fan Jay. My favourite player in recent times
:03:37. > 3:55:17has to be Ledley King. Ledley King comes in! Spurs are in the lead!
3:55:18 > 3:55:17has to be Ledley King. Ledley King He's a defender, he's fast, he's
3:55:18 > 3:55:17strong, he's intelligent. He's just an all-round best defender. He is my
3:55:18 > 3:55:17absolute hero. All right, Jay? What are you up to? I'm just doing a
3:55:18 > 3:55:17quick section for MOTD Kickabout. Can I ask you a question? Of course.
3:55:18 > 3:55:17In the North London derby against Arsenal, do you think we have a
3:55:18 > 3:55:17chance of winning? Our strikers are in great form, which is important,
3:55:18 > 3:55:17scoring goals. It's a big game for both teams, but I think we can win.
3:55:18 > 3:55:17What do you think? I think so as well. Good man.
3:55:18 > 3:55:17And you can catch more of those fantastic 'My Club' reports, and
3:55:18 > 3:55:17loads of other great footy clips, over on the Match of the Day

3:55:18 > 3:55:17being banned from driving into the French capital whenever they like.
3:55:18 > 3:55:17Instead, they'll only be able to use their cars every other day. It's
3:55:18 > 3:55:17because the French government are worried about air pollution in the
3:55:18 > 3:55:17city, which went above safe levels for last week. On Monday, public
3:55:18 > 3:55:17transport will be free of charge, and officials will review whether to
3:55:18 > 3:55:17extend the driving restrictions for longer.
3:55:18 > 3:55:17And if you missed it last night, Sir Tom Jones and Kylie Minogue had to
3:55:18 > 3:55:17make heartbreaking decisions about which singers they would take on
3:55:18 > 3:55:17into the live shows. Popular contestants Leo and Femi missed out,
3:55:18 > 3:55:17Kylie pinning her hopes on Rachael O'Connor, Jamie Johnson and Lee
3:55:18 > 3:55:17Glasson. The coaches had to slim down their teams from seven acts to
3:55:18 > 3:55:17three. Tom also picked his final team for the live shows next
3:55:18 > 3:55:17weekend. And the Chicago River in America was
3:55:18 > 3:55:17dyed green yesterday for celebrations ahead of St Patrick's
3:55:18 > 3:55:17Day on Monday. Thousands of people took to the streets for a parade and
3:55:18 > 3:55:17to catch a sight of the river. Across the world, the occasion is
3:55:18 > 3:55:17marked on the 17th of March every year, where people celebrate the
3:55:18 > 3:55:17apostle of Ireland, St Patrick, who lived in the fifth century! These
