:00:09. > :00:23.And keep watching for more of this amazing fluffy creature.

:00:24. > :00:28.Many sweet, fizzy drinks will be getting more expensive to try

:00:29. > :00:34.It was the big plan announced by the Government today

:00:35. > :00:38.That's when the man in charge of spending the UK's money,

:00:39. > :00:40.George Osborne, sets out what his plans are

:00:41. > :00:44.He said that the extra money raised from sugary drinks -

:00:45. > :00:47.expected to be hundreds of millions of pounds a year -

:00:48. > :00:49.will be used to pay for more sport in primary schools.

:00:50. > :00:59.The changes will start in two years' time.

:01:00. > :01:05.This is a tax for good. This is a tax which is symbolic, which will

:01:06. > :01:10.have ripples across the world. The logic behind it is the single

:01:11. > :01:14.largest source of sugar in our children's diet is sugary, sweetened

:01:15. > :01:22.drinks. It is important that our kids remain full of energy, healthy,

:01:23. > :01:31.fit, intelligent. It is about adults handing over a better environment to

:01:32. > :01:34.the next generation. There is loads of information on this online.

:01:35. > :01:37.And that wasn't the only big news from today's Budget.

:01:38. > :01:39.Your school day could be about to get longer,

:01:40. > :01:41.with new plans out today for pupils in England.

:01:42. > :01:45.3.30pm - and it's home time. It's when most of you finish school.

:01:46. > :01:48.But today the Government annouced plans to extend the school day.

:01:49. > :01:50.So you finish later in the afternoon.

:01:51. > :01:52.It means secondary schools in England could be open

:01:53. > :01:54.for an extra five hours a week or more.

:01:55. > :01:57.The extra time would be used for more lessons and extra

:01:58. > :02:09.So how would you feel about staying at school for longer?

:02:10. > :02:16.It would be all right if it is good lessons, not if it is bad lessons. I

:02:17. > :02:20.like to be in school and have fun but not to stay too long. I have to

:02:21. > :02:25.go home to do my homework straightaway. But if I had longer

:02:26. > :02:29.hours in school, I could get the teachers to help me do it. It would

:02:30. > :02:34.affect our learning because we would not be concentrating as much because

:02:35. > :02:36.we would be tired. If children had extra education then they would not

:02:37. > :02:40.have enough time to do the stuff children should be doing, like

:02:41. > :02:44.hanging out with friends. I think I would miss more time with my family

:02:45. > :02:45.and playing with my brothers and sisters.

:02:46. > :02:48.Some teacher groups don't think the extended hours are a good idea,

:02:49. > :02:51.saying children will miss out on family time at home.

:02:52. > :02:53.And that some schools might struggle to find enough money to stay

:02:54. > :02:57.The Government today said they will give money to help schools

:02:58. > :02:59.in England, but there may not be enough for everyone.

:03:00. > :03:02.So if your school decides to extend your day, well,

:03:03. > :03:07.you could be in the classrom for a little bit longer.

:03:08. > :03:10.We want to know what you think - is it a good idea to

:03:11. > :03:17.Now, some small birds doing a big job!

:03:18. > :03:20.These pigeons are being fitted with little backpacks to help a team

:03:21. > :03:25.Tiny sensors stitched onto pigeon-sized vests will measure

:03:26. > :03:29.the levels of nitrogen dioxide and ozone, the main gases behind

:03:30. > :03:33.harmful air pollution, over the next three days.

:03:34. > :03:38.The results will be Tweeted and published online.

:03:39. > :03:41.A school in Eastbourne in the south of England is trying out a new,

:03:42. > :03:45.Here, pupils learn to make fires, clay pigeon shoot and tend to water

:03:46. > :03:48.buffalo at their "Bronze Age" school.

:03:49. > :03:51.With some schools worried about kids doing anything too dangerous,

:03:52. > :03:56.UK safety experts say the school is a great example of what can be

:03:57. > :03:59.done when activities like this, considered by some schools to be too

:04:00. > :04:07.risky, are well managed by head teachers.

:04:08. > :04:15.The only that children will get hurt is if they are not exposed to fires

:04:16. > :04:18.and knives and taught how to use them responsibility. That is when

:04:19. > :04:23.accidents happen. It is a good experience. How many ten-year-olds

:04:24. > :04:29.would be able to stroke a water buffalo? I suppose it is a bit of

:04:30. > :04:30.jurors, not really dangerous. But I think kids in other schools would be

:04:31. > :04:34.able to handle what to do. Lastly, I guarantee you won't see

:04:35. > :04:36.anything cuter than this today. Visitors at this aquarium in Tokyo

:04:37. > :04:39.have been enjoying this little It was born nearly one month ago

:04:40. > :04:43.and weighed just 4 kilograms. It is now just enjoying time

:04:44. > :04:48.with its mum in this Newsround is back tomorrow morning
