:00:00. > :00:00.Good morning, I'm Ayshah, its Tuesday and here's what's
:00:07. > :00:11.We bring you all the action from Day 10 in Rio
:00:12. > :00:23.and we find out why Australia is on the move.
:00:24. > :00:26.There were more medals for Team GB at the Rio Olympics yesterday -
:00:27. > :00:30.one of each colour - a gold, a silver and a bronze to add
:00:31. > :00:34.It means Team GB still sit second in the medals table behind the USA.
:00:35. > :00:43.Here's Ricky with a round-up of what happened.
:00:44. > :00:52.It's one of the hottest days here inside the Olympic Park in Rio and
:00:53. > :00:58.after fantastic weekend, let's find out how Team GB got on on day ten.
:00:59. > :01:02.Let's turn our attention to dressage, where Team GB got its
:01:03. > :01:06.first and only goal of the day. Charlotte the Jardin and her horse
:01:07. > :01:13.and impressed the judges with this routine. I am so happy, it's been a
:01:14. > :01:19.dream come true, for me to come here and defend my title from London is
:01:20. > :01:24.just absolutely incredible. So if Charlotte got a medal, what did
:01:25. > :01:29.allegro get? He got lots of sugar, he loves sugar cubes, he is addicted
:01:30. > :01:35.to them. He got a lot of apples, he will have a lot of carrots tonight
:01:36. > :01:39.as well, he gets lots of treats! Cyclist Mark Cavendish got his first
:01:40. > :01:50.ever Olympic medal, a silver in the Omni. He makes sure he has the
:01:51. > :01:54.silver medal! Think of it as the pentathlon of cycling, it's
:01:55. > :01:58.extremely tough going. Sophie Hitchon, used to be a ballet dancer,
:01:59. > :02:04.made history for Team GB, winning bronze in the hammer, she threw a
:02:05. > :02:10.new British record of 74.54 metres, about the same length of four
:02:11. > :02:14.bowling alleys! I had to do a double-take! Because it was just
:02:15. > :02:18.incredible. To see the number three there and the national record, I
:02:19. > :02:26.couldn't be happier, my coach has stuck with me through the bad times
:02:27. > :02:30.and now the good times. GB's women beat Spain three Harper want to get
:02:31. > :02:39.through to the hockey semifinals. -- 3-1. And in gymnastics, Team USA's
:02:40. > :02:46.Simona Boils, finished third on the bin, she added Abrams to her goals.
:02:47. > :02:55.I think the answer still pretty good. Are you going to come to the
:02:56. > :02:58.UK? Hopefully one day! We would love you to come on our show.
:02:59. > :03:01.This really heavy rain in Rio put a stop to some
:03:02. > :03:05.Events like the men's pole vault and women's discus were affected.
:03:06. > :03:12.And some would say that coming sixth and not getting a medal
:03:13. > :03:15.Next to the country of Australia, where it's been revealed
:03:16. > :03:18.that the whole country has moved north by a metre and a half
:03:19. > :03:21.Confused? I've been looking into it.
:03:22. > :03:24.Australia is a country on the move, no seriously -
:03:25. > :03:29.It's only shifting at about 7cm every year which is about the same
:03:30. > :03:34.But the reason it's moving is all to do with the way
:03:35. > :03:39.It might look like one giant rock, but it's actually made up
:03:40. > :03:43.The ground we stand on is called the crust and it's made
:03:44. > :03:47.of huge slabs of rock called tectonic plates.
:03:48. > :03:50.They float on top of a different layer of hot molten rock,
:03:51. > :03:56.But over long periods of time these floating plates move around and maps
:03:57. > :04:04.That's because they work using satellites to work out
:04:05. > :04:06.where something is using a sets of coordinates called
:04:07. > :04:17.latitude and longitude Think of it like a graph over
:04:18. > :04:20.Think of it like a graph over the top of the earth.
:04:21. > :04:22.Latitude goes this way, longitude goes this way
:04:23. > :04:26.So if you want to tell someone where you are on earth,
:04:27. > :04:28.you can tell them your latitude and longitude number.
:04:29. > :04:30.But because Australia's tectonic plate is moving,
:04:31. > :04:33.its latitude and longitude numbers are now a bit off.
:04:34. > :04:36.Take the famous Sydney Opera House for example -
:04:37. > :04:38.GPS devices say the opera house is here.
:04:39. > :04:41.But actually it's here - about a metre and a half away -
:04:42. > :04:56.Fixing the issue will be a big job - but scientists say it's important
:04:57. > :04:58.That's all for now. We're back in about half an hour.
