:00:41. > :00:44.Here's a round-up of some of yesterday's best bits.

:00:45. > :00:48.It was a glittering day of gold and silver medals for Para GB.

:00:49. > :00:52.Richard Whitehead claimed joint silver in the 100m,

:00:53. > :00:57.After a slow start, a huge burst of speed and some determination

:00:58. > :01:04.Multi-medal winner Kadeena Cox added a silver to her collection,

:01:05. > :01:06.leading out the sprint relay team with Maria Lyle,

:01:07. > :01:12.Georgina Hermitage and Sophie Hahn - the team just missing out to China.

:01:13. > :01:15.In the dressage, Natasha Baker - who's known as the Horse Whisperer -

:01:19. > :01:24.She's not only a multiple paralympic champion,

:01:25. > :01:28.but also has a first-class degree in maths, she may need it

:01:29. > :01:31.to calculate her growing list of titles.

:01:32. > :01:35.And when it comes to numbers, they say age is just another.

:01:36. > :01:41.Well, Anne Dunham turns 68 this month and she won a silver.

:01:42. > :01:44.Over on the waters of Rio, it was the first-ever time

:01:45. > :01:47.para canoeing has been an event at the games, and Para GB

:01:48. > :01:51.athletes took full advantage of the new sport.

:01:52. > :01:55.20 years ago, Jeanette Chippington won gold as a swimmer, but this time

:01:56. > :01:57.it was gold in the canoeing after she came back

:01:58. > :02:03.Emma Wiggs is another who has switched sports -

:02:04. > :02:06.competing in sitting volleyball four years ago,

:02:07. > :02:12.Anne Dickins was at those games in London too, as a volunteer.

:02:13. > :02:14.She confessed to suffering seasickness the first

:02:15. > :02:17.time she got in a canoe, but she got over that

:02:18. > :02:29.Well, sadly, the Paralympics come to an end this weekend -

:02:30. > :02:31.they've been a huge success for Great Britain.

:02:32. > :02:34.But what do they mean to kids with disabilities watching here?

:02:35. > :02:36.Before I watched this year's Paralympics, I never knew

:02:37. > :02:43.what actual disabled people can do before.

:02:44. > :02:53.There's loads of different disabilities for each person.

:02:54. > :02:56.It just makee me feel so proud, and makes me want to achieve

:02:57. > :03:00.It just puts another perspective on it.

:03:01. > :03:04.I mean, not just for disabled people, but for everybody.

:03:05. > :03:09.ELECTRONIC VOICE: In my opinion, Paralympics is like an education

:03:10. > :03:15.It's OK for people to be different, and others need to get over the fact

:03:16. > :03:22.I want to be in the Paralympics one day.

:03:23. > :03:27.ELECTRONIC VOICE: It's really important they have the

:03:28. > :03:34.Paralympics, so we can show the world what we can do.

:03:35. > :03:37.Now to Italy, where 170 kids have just celebrated their first few days

:03:38. > :03:40.back at school after it was damaged by an earthquake during

:03:41. > :03:46.This school in Amatrice, as well as several others nearby,

:03:47. > :03:50.But now, with the help of some temporary classrooms

:03:51. > :03:55.made out of containers, kids can go back to school.

:03:56. > :03:58.Scientists in Argentina have uncovered a massive meteorite

:03:59. > :04:03.It was dug up in the north of the country, in a place called

:04:04. > :04:06.the Field of the Heavens, which was hit by a shower

:04:07. > :04:08.of the large, rocky objects which fell from space

:04:09. > :04:16.Experts think it could be one of the biggest in the world.

:04:17. > :04:20.Now to a moon landing with a difference, check this out -

:04:21. > :04:23.a huge moon-shaped balloon is causing chaos rolling

:04:24. > :04:28.It's been blowing across the motorways and rolling

:04:29. > :04:36.The huge balloon was part of the annual Moon Festival -

:04:37. > :04:42.that's until it blew off in the strong winds.
