0:00:02 > 0:00:05Hi, I'm Jenny and I'm live with your Sunday Newsround.

0:00:05 > 0:00:06Coming up:

0:00:06 > 0:00:11The bikers taking on the Utah Mountains.

0:00:11 > 0:00:14And we bring this week's most weird and wonderful stories in

0:00:14 > 0:00:20Strange, Stranger, Strangest.

0:00:25 > 0:00:28First up today, it's an exciting time for England's women footballers

0:00:28 > 0:00:30who are taking on France next Friday in a friendly match as they build up

0:00:32 > 0:00:35the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2017.

0:00:35 > 0:00:37Ricky caught up with two of their star players,

0:00:37 > 0:00:44Ellen White and Alex Greenwood.

0:00:44 > 0:00:46The World Cup was incredible, bronze medal...

0:00:46 > 0:00:50We were all ecstatic to get that but, obviously,

0:00:50 > 0:00:52we're probably excited to get the Euro qualification out

0:00:52 > 0:00:53the way and kind of look forward.

0:00:53 > 0:00:56Moving on from the World Cup, it was a

0:00:56 > 0:00:57fantastic tournament and I think we just need

0:00:57 > 0:01:00to move on and actually, so that we can do it again,

0:01:00 > 0:01:02you know, not a one-off.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05How do you feel when you get to wear that outfit and

0:01:05 > 0:01:06you get to put that top on?

0:01:06 > 0:01:08Do you still get a bit of a buzz?

0:01:08 > 0:01:09You must do.

0:01:09 > 0:01:10Yeah, absolutely.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13You would be lying if you said you didn't, you

0:01:13 > 0:01:14know, it's the dream growing up.

0:01:14 > 0:01:16I think when we get new kit, everyone

0:01:16 > 0:01:17is like buzzing.

0:01:17 > 0:01:18Like Christmas.

0:01:18 > 0:01:19It is.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21You are like a kid because you are just

0:01:21 > 0:01:23so excited and it is just a real privilege

0:01:23 > 0:01:26and we are very lucky to be in the situation we are.

0:01:26 > 0:01:28So what would you say to a young girl

0:01:28 > 0:01:30out there who perhaps is into girls football

0:01:30 > 0:01:32but isn't getting the encouragement

0:01:32 > 0:01:34and is perhaps being told that it is not something

0:01:34 > 0:01:36you can do when you are older?

0:01:36 > 0:01:38We have been through those experiences and we

0:01:38 > 0:01:40know how it feels to go through school, you know,

0:01:40 > 0:01:42you are changing, your body is changing.

0:01:42 > 0:01:43Perhaps you don't want to do sport.

0:01:43 > 0:01:46It is frustrating when people say those negative things

0:01:46 > 0:01:48but, you know, you have just got to stand

0:01:48 > 0:01:50tall and be like, no, I want to play

0:01:50 > 0:01:51women's football.

0:01:51 > 0:01:53Look, they have got a career out of it,

0:01:53 > 0:01:56they are actually getting paid to play women's football, you know,

0:01:56 > 0:01:57that is what I want to be.

0:01:57 > 0:02:00Other football news now, and a quick Premier League round up for you.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03Chelsea beat current champions, Leicester, 3-0, at Stamford Bridge.

0:02:03 > 0:02:05While Manchester City missed two penalties to draw with Everton one

0:02:05 > 0:02:10all at the Etihad Stadium.

0:02:10 > 0:02:12And Hull's new head coach Mike Phelan had a disappointing

0:02:12 > 0:02:19match as the Tigers were thrashed, 6-1 by Bournemouth.

0:02:19 > 0:02:22Cerebral Palsy is a disorder that affects people in different ways.

0:02:22 > 0:02:2412-year-old Max, who lives in Australia, is one of them

0:02:24 > 0:02:27but thanks to some new technology, he and his classmates have found

0:02:27 > 0:02:31new ways of having fun together.

0:02:31 > 0:02:33Meet Max.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36He loves school and hanging out with his mates.

0:02:36 > 0:02:37Max has trouble speaking because he has cerebral palsy,

0:02:37 > 0:02:40a condition that means his brain has trouble communicating

0:02:40 > 0:02:44with his muscles.

0:02:44 > 0:02:45Where is Mr Jessett?

0:02:45 > 0:02:48But recently a piece of technology called Compass has meant Max can now

0:02:48 > 0:02:51communicate by himself.

0:02:51 > 0:02:56Compass is great and I can communicate independently.

0:02:56 > 0:02:59What's more, it's helped him get closer to his classmates

0:02:59 > 0:03:02because they've been able to make games that he can play on it.

0:03:02 > 0:03:04That's it, where the red dot is.

0:03:04 > 0:03:06Well done.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09Our teacher said that we should make a game for Max and then it kind

0:03:09 > 0:03:11of just went from there.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14We all thought of our own ideas and I went with the maze and one

0:03:14 > 0:03:19of my other friends, he went with a car racing game.

0:03:19 > 0:03:22They use coding and programmes like this to create all

0:03:22 > 0:03:25the different parts of the game.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28These games, he smiles a lot when he plays them because he really

0:03:28 > 0:03:31enjoys being able to play games with the eye gaze instead of just

0:03:31 > 0:03:36watching someone else play them.

0:03:36 > 0:03:39All right, Max, the point of this game is to help you strengthen your

0:03:39 > 0:03:41eye gaze for getting around the track.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44Thanks to the games, Max has come away with new friends.

0:03:44 > 0:03:46When I first met Max, I didn't really know how

0:03:46 > 0:03:47to interact with him

0:03:47 > 0:03:50but then when I started making this, I interacted a lot more

0:03:50 > 0:03:54with him and me and Max have a good friendship now.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57They also entered the games they designed into a technology

0:03:57 > 0:03:59competition and came a brilliant second place.

0:03:59 > 0:04:03But they say they're just glad Max has a new way to have

0:04:03 > 0:04:12fun with his friends.

0:04:12 > 0:04:12Nice

0:04:12 > 0:04:13Nice one.

0:04:13 > 0:04:16Next, it's that time of the week where we bring you the weird

0:04:16 > 0:04:19and wonderful from around the world, this week we're talking pedals,

0:04:19 > 0:04:20pumpkins and insects!

0:04:20 > 0:04:23Take a look at this.

0:04:23 > 0:04:26Have you ever tried cycling and working at the same time?

0:04:26 > 0:04:27Well, this lot have!

0:04:27 > 0:04:30To focus their energy and stop them from tap, tap, tapping

0:04:30 > 0:04:33their pencils, one teacher in the US attached pedals under the

0:04:33 > 0:04:36school desks in her classroom.

0:04:36 > 0:04:41What a WHEELIE good idea!

0:04:41 > 0:04:45This lady is Cindy Tobeck, a teacher from California.

0:04:45 > 0:04:50Check out the giant spooky vegetable that she grew.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53Do you even recognise what it is?

0:04:53 > 0:04:58She took home first prize with her pumpkin nicknamed

0:04:58 > 0:04:59Orange Crush.

0:04:59 > 0:05:01It weighed a whopping 866 kilograms.

0:05:01 > 0:05:04That's more than the average cow.

0:05:04 > 0:05:06And probably enough pumpkin to feed her whole town for

0:05:06 > 0:05:10Halloween.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12A bakery in Scotland has started selling cakes made from...

0:05:12 > 0:05:17Yep, bugs.

0:05:17 > 0:05:20Around 2 billion people worldwide eat insects as part of their diet.

0:05:20 > 0:05:23And some scientists say they're really good for you.

0:05:23 > 0:05:25Scorpions, mealworms and crickets are just some of

0:05:25 > 0:05:28the special brownie ingredients.

0:05:28 > 0:05:31It can't BEE right.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34It must be flies, I mean lies!

0:05:34 > 0:05:39Ugh.

0:05:39 > 0:05:41Finally, how about this for a mountain biking course?

0:05:41 > 0:05:45Bikers took to the Utah mountains in the United States in 11th running

0:05:45 > 0:05:51of the Red Bull Rampage event.

0:05:51 > 0:05:53The winner was Brandon Semenuk from Canada
