0:00:04 > 0:00:06Hi, I'm Jenny, and this is your final Sunday Newsround.

0:00:06 > 0:00:08Coming up:

0:00:08 > 0:00:11Andy Murray wins the Shanghai tennis competition.

0:00:11 > 0:00:14And we bring you this week's weird and wonderful stories in

0:00:14 > 0:00:20Strange, Stranger, Strangest.

0:00:26 > 0:00:28Yes, Andy Murray has just won the Shanghai Masters

0:00:28 > 0:00:30tennis competition.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33He beat Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain in just three sets.

0:00:35 > 0:00:39The win, the sixth title for Murray this year, means he edges closer to

0:00:39 > 0:00:45knocking Novak Djokovic of the top spot in the world rankings.

0:00:45 > 0:00:48More sport now and it's an exciting time for England's women footballers

0:00:48 > 0:00:51who are taking on France next Friday in a friendly match as they build up

0:00:51 > 0:00:54the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2017.

0:00:54 > 0:00:56Ricky caught up with two of their star players,

0:00:56 > 0:01:00Ellen White and Alex Greenwood.

0:01:00 > 0:01:03The World Cup was incredible, bronze medal...

0:01:03 > 0:01:06We were all ecstatic to get that but, obviously,

0:01:06 > 0:01:08we're probably excited to get the Euro qualification out

0:01:08 > 0:01:10the way and kind of look forward.

0:01:10 > 0:01:12Moving on from the World Cup, it was a

0:01:12 > 0:01:15fantastic tournament and I think we just need

0:01:15 > 0:01:17to move on and actually, so that we can do it again,

0:01:17 > 0:01:18you know, not a one-off.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21How do you feel when you get to wear that outfit and

0:01:21 > 0:01:23you get to put that top on?

0:01:23 > 0:01:25Do you still get a bit of a buzz?

0:01:25 > 0:01:26You must do.

0:01:26 > 0:01:27Yeah, absolutely.

0:01:27 > 0:01:30You would be lying if you said you didn't, you

0:01:30 > 0:01:31know, it's the dream growing up.

0:01:31 > 0:01:33I think when we get new kit, everyone

0:01:33 > 0:01:34is like buzzing.

0:01:34 > 0:01:35Like Christmas.

0:01:35 > 0:01:36It is.

0:01:36 > 0:01:38You are like a kid because you are just

0:01:38 > 0:01:40so excited and it is just a real privilege

0:01:40 > 0:01:43and we are very lucky to be in the situation we are.

0:01:43 > 0:01:45So what would you say to a young girl

0:01:45 > 0:01:47out there who perhaps is into girls football

0:01:47 > 0:01:48but isn't getting the encouragement

0:01:48 > 0:01:51and is perhaps being told that it is not something

0:01:51 > 0:01:53you can do when you are older?

0:01:53 > 0:01:54We have been through those experiences and we

0:01:54 > 0:01:57know how it feels to go through school, you know,

0:01:57 > 0:01:59you are changing, your body is changing.

0:01:59 > 0:02:00Perhaps you don't want to do sport.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02It is frustrating when people say those negative things

0:02:02 > 0:02:04but, you know, you have just got to stand

0:02:04 > 0:02:07tall and be like, no, I want to play

0:02:07 > 0:02:08women's football.

0:02:08 > 0:02:10Look, they have got a career out of it,

0:02:10 > 0:02:12they are actually getting paid to play women's football, you know,

0:02:12 > 0:02:14that is what I want to be.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16More aid is needed in the Caribbean country Haiti

0:02:16 > 0:02:18after Hurricane Matthew knocked down houses and caused massive

0:02:18 > 0:02:21flooding two weeks ago.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24That's according to Ban Ki-moon, the man in charge of the UN,

0:02:24 > 0:02:29an organisation created to keep peace across the world.

0:02:29 > 0:02:35He says the people of Haiti need more food, shelter and clean water.

0:02:35 > 0:02:37Cerebral Palsy is a disorder that affects people in different ways.

0:02:37 > 0:02:4012-year-old Max, who lives in Australia, is one of them

0:02:40 > 0:02:43but thanks to some new technology, he and his classmates have found

0:02:43 > 0:02:48new ways of having fun together.

0:02:48 > 0:02:49Meet Max.

0:02:49 > 0:02:52He loves school and hanging out with his mates.

0:02:52 > 0:02:55Max has trouble speaking because he has cerebral palsy,

0:02:55 > 0:02:58a condition that means his brain has trouble communicating

0:02:58 > 0:03:00with his muscles.

0:03:00 > 0:03:01Where is Mr Jessett?

0:03:01 > 0:03:04But recently a piece of technology called Compass has meant Max can now

0:03:04 > 0:03:05communicate by himself.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08Compass is great and I can communicate independently.

0:03:08 > 0:03:13What's more, it's helped him get closer to his classmates

0:03:13 > 0:03:19because they've been able to make games that he can play on it.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21That's it, where the red dot is.

0:03:21 > 0:03:22Well done.

0:03:22 > 0:03:26Our teacher said that we should make a game for Max and then it kind

0:03:26 > 0:03:27of just went from there.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30We all thought of our own ideas and I went with the maze and one

0:03:30 > 0:03:33of my other friends, he went with a car racing game.

0:03:33 > 0:03:35They use coding and programmes like this to create all

0:03:35 > 0:03:40the different parts of the game.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43These games, he smiles a lot when he plays them because he really

0:03:43 > 0:03:47enjoys being able to play games with the eye gaze instead of just

0:03:47 > 0:03:52watching someone else play them.

0:03:52 > 0:03:56All right, Max, the point of this game is to help you strengthen your

0:03:56 > 0:03:57eye gaze for getting around the track.

0:03:57 > 0:04:00Thanks to the games, Max has come away with new friends.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02When I first met Max, I didn't really know how

0:04:02 > 0:04:03to interact with him

0:04:03 > 0:04:06but then when I started making this, I interacted a lot more

0:04:06 > 0:04:09with him and me and Max have a good friendship now.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11They also entered the games they designed into a technology

0:04:11 > 0:04:13competition and came a brilliant second place.

0:04:13 > 0:04:18But they say they're just glad Max has a new way to have

0:04:18 > 0:04:27fun with his friends.

0:04:27 > 0:04:27They

0:04:27 > 0:04:28They fund.

0:04:28 > 0:04:32Finally, it's that time of the week where we bring you the weird

0:04:32 > 0:04:33and wonderful from around the world.

0:04:33 > 0:04:34Take a look at this.

0:04:34 > 0:04:37Have you ever tried cycling and working at the same time?

0:04:37 > 0:04:38Well, this lot have!

0:04:38 > 0:04:41To focus their energy and stop them from tap, tap, tapping

0:04:41 > 0:04:43their pencils, one teacher in the US attached pedals under the

0:04:43 > 0:04:44school desks in her classroom.

0:04:44 > 0:04:52What a WHEELIE good idea!

0:04:52 > 0:04:56This lady is Cindy Tobeck, a teacher from California.

0:04:56 > 0:05:01Check out the giant spooky vegetable that she grew.

0:05:01 > 0:05:03Do you even recognise what it is?

0:05:03 > 0:05:06She took home first prize with her pumpkin nicknamed

0:05:06 > 0:05:09Orange Crush.

0:05:09 > 0:05:12It weighed a whopping 866 kilograms.

0:05:12 > 0:05:15That's more than the average cow.

0:05:15 > 0:05:17And probably enough pumpkin to feed her whole town for

0:05:17 > 0:05:21Halloween.

0:05:21 > 0:05:24A bakery in Scotland has started selling cakes made from...

0:05:24 > 0:05:28Yep, bugs.

0:05:28 > 0:05:30Around 2 billion people worldwide eat insects as part of their diet.

0:05:30 > 0:05:32And some scientists say they're really good for you.

0:05:32 > 0:05:37Scorpions, mealworms and crickets are just some of

0:05:37 > 0:05:39the special brownie ingredients.

0:05:39 > 0:05:40It can't BEE right.

0:05:40 > 0:05:42It must be flies, I mean lies!

0:05:42 > 0:05:49Ugh.
