:00:00. > :00:09.Hi there, I'm Jenny and you're live with Newsround and our last bulletin

:00:10. > :00:14.this Saturday. Here's what we've got coming up.

:00:15. > :00:18.Batman crazy! San Francisco is turned into Gotham City for the day.

:00:19. > :00:29.And we've got some exciting news about X Factor and Britain's Got

:00:30. > :00:33.Talent. We're talking about the endangered

:00:34. > :00:35.animals people are trying to bring into the country in suitcases. Hippo

:00:36. > :00:38.teeth, walrus horns, tortoises, eight live big cats, are just some

:00:39. > :00:41.of the rare animal products confiscated by the UK Border Force,

:00:42. > :00:49.who have seized more endangered animal items in the last year than

:00:50. > :00:53.in any other year. Take a look. Not quite what you would expect to

:00:54. > :00:57.find in a suitcase. Stuffed and even live animals, some of these things

:00:58. > :01:01.people try to bring back from holiday. Others were ordered and

:01:02. > :01:07.bought as part of illegal trade. UK Border Force stopped a haul of

:01:08. > :01:14.endangered animals coming into the country last year. On the list were

:01:15. > :01:17.93 live animals, including big cats. A dead alligator's head and a dead

:01:18. > :01:22.snake in a bottle of alcohol were found. Ivory and medicines made out

:01:23. > :01:27.of rare species were seized. It is from the traditional Chinese

:01:28. > :01:33.medicine we used to see, now we are seeing New Age beauty products,

:01:34. > :01:37.slimming pills that are having endangered species within the

:01:38. > :01:42.ingredients. While some animals can be imported, it is illegal to bring

:01:43. > :01:45.lots of these into the UK. Wildlife officials are worried that as the

:01:46. > :01:52.economy picks up and people have more money to spend, the problem is

:01:53. > :01:55.only going to get worse. The UK is giving an extra ?30

:01:56. > :01:58.million to help people in the Philippines after the devastation

:01:59. > :02:01.caused by Typhoon Haiyan. This brings the total pledged by the

:02:02. > :02:04.British government to around 50 million. We've just heard reports

:02:05. > :02:07.that the first UK government aid flight has landed in the country.

:02:08. > :02:13.The United Nations says around half a million people in the Philippines

:02:14. > :02:17.are still without food and shelter. Now you all know it was BBC's

:02:18. > :02:21.Children In Need last night and it was a record breaking one. The final

:02:22. > :02:25.amount raising more than ?31 million for charities around the UK. Loads

:02:26. > :02:27.of different celebs took part, including the cast of the musical

:02:28. > :02:31.Matilda. Dancing On Ice's Torville and Dean swapped their skates for a

:02:32. > :02:34.bit of strictly Come Dancing and there was a sneak preview of Dr

:02:35. > :02:37.Who's 50th anniversary show, and the world's biggest boy band, One

:02:38. > :02:39.Direction, took to the Children In Need stage.

:02:40. > :02:41.Loads of you have been in contact online about your Children In Need

:02:42. > :03:09.highlights. Next, for hundreds of years the

:03:10. > :03:11.hills in Dartmoor have had a pretty unusual feature - thousands of

:03:12. > :03:22.ponies roaming the land. Next, if you're a fan of X Factor or

:03:23. > :03:26.Britain's Got Talent then you'll pretty happy to hear that the shows

:03:27. > :03:29.will be on our screens for at least another three years. Simon Cowell,

:03:30. > :03:33.who's the boss of the company that makes the shows, has agreed a new

:03:34. > :03:37.deal with ITV but he hasn't said whether he will return to the show

:03:38. > :03:41.as a judge. Head judge, Gary Barlow, says this will be his last year on

:03:42. > :03:45.the show whilst Louis can't seem to make his mind up.

:03:46. > :03:48.Next, if you're a fan of X Factor or Britain's Got Talent then you'll

:03:49. > :03:51.pretty happy to hear that the shows will be on our screens for at least

:03:52. > :03:55.another three years. Simon Cowell, who's the boss of the company that

:03:56. > :03:59.makes the shows, has agreed a new deal with ITV but he hasn't said

:04:00. > :04:03.whether he will return to the show as a judge. Head judge, Gary Barlow,

:04:04. > :04:06.says this will be his last year on the show whilst Louis can't seem to

:04:07. > :04:10.make his mind up. Next his new book, Demon Dentist, is

:04:11. > :04:14.bound to be on Christmas lists and his hit tale Gangsta Granny is being

:04:15. > :04:17.turned in to a film. We grabbed author and comedian David Walliams

:04:18. > :04:19.off the set of a Gangsta Christmas special to answer your story telling

:04:20. > :04:22.questions. My ins oration was that when I was a

:04:23. > :04:25.kid, eight, 910 and my grandmas were in the late 60s and 70s, I thought

:04:26. > :04:28.they may be a bit boring. I never thought they would have had an

:04:29. > :04:29.interesting and exciting life. That was the integration for the story.

:04:30. > :04:33.Don't think people are boring because they are old. If you ask

:04:34. > :04:36.your grandparents stories, they will have great ones to tell. That was

:04:37. > :04:38.not the question I was expecting. I suppose I would call the book The

:04:39. > :04:43.Odd Sock. You are getting started on a story is hard. A blank page is

:04:44. > :04:51.very scary. But I think we can all write stories because we all have

:04:52. > :04:59.dreams and wake up in the morning. If you can dream, you can dream up

:05:00. > :05:07.things in your mind. It is a hard one. I think it would be annoying if

:05:08. > :05:10.someone tried to be funny all it is quite wearing. I have lots of

:05:11. > :05:15.friends who are comedians. I can think of one person who I will not

:05:16. > :05:22.name, who can be annoying just because he is cracking jokes all the

:05:23. > :05:27.time. It does get tiring. Bit of sport now and Indi I think it would

:05:28. > :05:29.be annoying if someone tried to be funny all of the time.an cricket

:05:30. > :05:33.legend, Sachin Tendulkar, had tears in his eyes as he officially retired

:05:34. > :05:36.from the game after 24 years. The batsman, who's an international

:05:37. > :05:40.icon, helped his side beat the West Indies in his final 200th Test

:05:41. > :05:43.match. He thanked the crowd and his family, especially his sister, who

:05:44. > :05:50.gave him his very first cricket bat. That's it. Last up here's a Batman

:05:51. > :05:53.mad boy who turned San Francisco into Gotham City for a day.

:05:54. > :05:56.Thousands of people turned up as Batman extras for five-year-old

:05:57. > :05:58.Miles Scott, a super fan who's recovering from the disease

:05:59. > :06:03.leukaemia. Bat-tastic!
