:00:52. > :00:54.leave flowers, to light candles and leave messages of support. Children
:00:55. > :01:00.have been drawing picked trees and leaving them. And it has become so
:01:01. > :01:04.full of tributes that people have begun to leave messages on the
:01:05. > :01:08.ground. Many are still in shock after the sad events. But today
:01:09. > :01:17.people everywhere joined with people of France to remember what happened.
:01:18. > :01:21.There was silence across Europe today for one powerful minute, in
:01:22. > :01:26.lots of different countries, friends of the country came together to
:01:27. > :01:30.support and remember. French President Francois Hollande led the
:01:31. > :01:34.tributes in Paris. But people everywhere want the French genome
:01:35. > :01:45.that they're not alone after the events on Friday. -- want the French
:01:46. > :01:49.to know. Over 120 people lost their lives in
:01:50. > :01:55.a series of attacks and French police and army were called in to
:01:56. > :01:58.help keep people safe. Radical Islamist group that calls itself
:01:59. > :02:01.Islamic State has said it carried out the attacks and leaders from all
:02:02. > :02:06.over the world were quick to show their support for those affected.
:02:07. > :02:10.Our hearts go out to the French people on all those who lost loved
:02:11. > :02:13.ones. Over the weekend sports fans and players also offered their
:02:14. > :02:19.support to the people of Paris with tributes at the world tennis finals
:02:20. > :02:22.in London and David Beckham's charity football match in
:02:23. > :02:27.Manchester. In France people are remembering what took place and
:02:28. > :02:29.standing together to show that they are united.
:02:30. > :02:31.Walking through the city today I've seen people going
:02:32. > :02:35.Mums and dads are back work, students have been at school
:02:36. > :02:41.Some museums and big tourist attractions, like the Eiffel Tower,
:02:42. > :02:44.are closed and everywhere you go there are police cars and army
:02:45. > :02:48.Even though people in Paris are still upset about what happened,
:02:49. > :02:52.those I've spoken to today have said they're supporting one another.
:02:53. > :02:54.I've seen people giving free hugs to strangers.
:02:55. > :02:57.But it will be a long time before life here is completely back
