0:00:12 > 0:00:13Hello, I'm Martin.

0:00:13 > 0:00:15It's Thursday and this is Newsround.

0:00:15 > 0:00:18Now, what do you think should be done about cyberbullying?

0:00:18 > 0:00:22We're asking because Prince William has just announced new advice on how

0:00:22 > 0:00:27children should behave online in a special event in London.

0:00:27 > 0:00:29So let's hear from the Duke of Cambridge himself,

0:00:29 > 0:00:32plus we've been finding out what you think.

0:00:32 > 0:00:35What worries you about being online?

0:00:35 > 0:00:37It just worries me that older people can take

0:00:37 > 0:00:40advantage of younger people.

0:00:40 > 0:00:42You don't know if someone is being the real them.

0:00:42 > 0:00:44How different people could hack into your accounts.

0:00:44 > 0:00:46If you see something negative, if it's about you it

0:00:46 > 0:00:49might hurt your feelings.

0:00:49 > 0:00:54Cyber bullying is an issue, because anyone can be bullied online.

0:00:54 > 0:00:58Almost one in five young people say they've been bullied online.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00So, who should make things better?

0:01:00 > 0:01:04I think the site should make it a bit stricter.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06Your parents should always look through what you do.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09I think the social media websites are responsible,

0:01:09 > 0:01:13because I think they can tell if you're under 13 or over 13.

0:01:13 > 0:01:15I think it's your parents' and your own responsibility,

0:01:15 > 0:01:18because when you decide to make a social media account

0:01:18 > 0:01:21you have to be aware of the things that could happen.

0:01:21 > 0:01:24Loads of people talk about this issue, but things don't seem

0:01:24 > 0:01:30to be getting better.

0:01:30 > 0:01:33I think the sites should be stricter and should be more careful to check

0:01:33 > 0:01:36what people put online.

0:01:36 > 0:01:39More security, more monitors.

0:01:39 > 0:01:41There should be more reports signs.

0:01:41 > 0:01:45Social media sites should make all accounts private.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48If you put your age in, you have to get a parent

0:01:48 > 0:01:49to put it in for you.

0:01:49 > 0:01:51Make a tutorial at the beginning to say

0:01:51 > 0:01:55where all the report buttons are.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57I think parents should be more aware with cyber bullying,

0:01:57 > 0:02:00and should know what their kids are looking at and what they're on.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03Today, Prince William revealed a new list of rules for 11

0:02:03 > 0:02:08to 16-year-olds about social media.

0:02:08 > 0:02:12I began work on the issue of cyber bullying a few years ago.

0:02:12 > 0:02:17As I explored it in more detail, I felt a growing sense of alarm.

0:02:17 > 0:02:19I came to realise what it meant for bullying,

0:02:19 > 0:02:24an age-old problem sadly, to be super-charged by social media.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27His charity the Royal Foundation has worked with social

0:02:27 > 0:02:32media, tech companies, and anti-bullying charities.

0:02:32 > 0:02:33They say...

0:02:59 > 0:03:01So, will something like this work?

0:03:01 > 0:03:04With it being Prince William, I think it's going to get

0:03:04 > 0:03:06a lot more attention.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09Some children, if they are getting bullied online, they don't know

0:03:09 > 0:03:12what to do and they get really nervous, and they're unsure.

0:03:12 > 0:03:16So I think it's really good, because it instructs you what to do.

0:03:16 > 0:03:19I don't think it will work because a lot of people like to know

0:03:19 > 0:03:21what they want to do, they don't like people

0:03:21 > 0:03:22telling them what to do.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25In my opinion I don't think that this will work,

0:03:25 > 0:03:27because bullies are just going to be bullies.

0:03:27 > 0:03:29I think it is helpful to have a list online,

0:03:29 > 0:03:37because it's made by people who know what they're talking about.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40Now, the world's most expensive painting ever has just been sold

0:03:40 > 0:03:43at an auction in New York, any guesses as to how much it was?

0:03:43 > 0:03:44No?

0:03:44 > 0:03:47Have a watch.

0:03:47 > 0:03:49Selling here at Christie's, $400 million is the bid,

0:03:49 > 0:03:52and the piece is sold.

0:03:52 > 0:03:53Wait, what?!

0:03:53 > 0:03:55REWIND NOISE.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57$400 million is the bid.

0:03:57 > 0:03:59You didn't hear that wrong.

0:03:59 > 0:04:03$400 million!

0:04:03 > 0:04:05Un-be-lievable.

0:04:05 > 0:04:10For that amount of money you could buy 10 million

0:04:10 > 0:04:12copies of the latest Fifa, five small jumbo jets,

0:04:12 > 0:04:17four islands in the Caribbean, or Lionel Messi - twice!

0:04:17 > 0:04:20So why would anyone pay that much?

0:04:20 > 0:04:25Well, it was painted over 500 years ago by a really famous artist,

0:04:25 > 0:04:29Leonardo da Vinci, who also painted the Mona Lisa.

0:04:29 > 0:04:32But still, a lot of people were surprised by how much

0:04:32 > 0:04:34the secret bidder paid.

0:04:34 > 0:04:37It was more than £100 million over the previous most

0:04:37 > 0:04:40expensive painting.

0:04:40 > 0:04:46I wish I had that kind of money!

0:04:46 > 0:04:51I really do, I don't even have £4!

0:04:51 > 0:04:52Thanks guys, Whitney's back in the morning.

0:04:52 > 0:04:58Have a good one!
