:00:06. > :00:08.Hi, I'm Leah. This is Newsround. Here's what coming up in the next

:00:08. > :00:11.five minutes. Wrap up warm, there's more heavy

:00:11. > :00:19.snow on the way. And Laura Robson wins an epic match

:00:20. > :00:23.at the Australian Open. First, if there's not snow on the

:00:23. > :00:26.ground where you are already, could this be what you'll be waking up to

:00:26. > :00:29.tomorrow morning? Forecasters are warning of heavy snow tonight, with

:00:30. > :00:32.a severe weather warning in place for parts of South Wales. They're

:00:32. > :00:35.expecting 10-15 centimetres in places, which could cause problems

:00:36. > :00:38.on the roads. Many parts of the UK have already experienced snow and

:00:38. > :00:47.freezing temperatures this week. More than 90 schools in Norfolk

:00:47. > :00:57.have been given another day off today. Nine-year-old Olly is one of

:00:57. > :00:58.

:00:58. > :01:05.them. It's been really fun off school. Starting to miss it a

:01:05. > :01:11.little bit. We've been up to quite a lot of things. It's been really

:01:11. > :01:18.fun playing with friends and family. I've seen quite a lot of animals

:01:18. > :01:21.and wildlife wandering around our garden.

:01:21. > :01:24.And if you're wondering if it'll snow where you live, you're in luck.

:01:24. > :01:31.We've got a special snow forecast from our BBC weatherman friend,

:01:31. > :01:34.Simon King. We are expecting lots of snow over the UK tomorrow.

:01:34. > :01:37.Another cold night tonight. We'll start to see snow moving into

:01:37. > :01:43.Northern Ireland, into Wales and the south-west of England tomorrow

:01:43. > :01:47.morning. The forecast might be a bit of a headache for your mum and

:01:47. > :01:51.dad there. Might be school closures tomorrow as the snow moves east.

:01:51. > :01:54.There could be a lot of it at the end of the day. Feeling very, very

:01:54. > :01:57.cold. Now to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

:01:57. > :02:00.It's built with the same carbon fibre material used in Formula One

:02:00. > :02:02.cars and has been described as the future of flying. But a recent

:02:02. > :02:11.string of safety issues means airlines across the world have

:02:11. > :02:18.decided to stop flying them. Joe's been looking into the problems. The

:02:18. > :02:22.ultra light, ultra green Dreamliner. At a cool 128 million a pop it's

:02:22. > :02:27.the fastest selling commercial aircraft in history. It's makers

:02:27. > :02:32.promised it would use a fifth less fuel, great news for airlines keen

:02:32. > :02:37.to find a cheaper, cleaner way to get us to where we get to go.

:02:37. > :02:42.Newsround got to check it out. But after a string of safety problems

:02:42. > :02:47.the 787's story is not as dreamy as was hoped. Fuel leaks, fires on

:02:47. > :02:52.board, brake and battery problems, even a cracked windscreen, have

:02:52. > :02:56.made airlines stop flying this new plane. A Japanese airline was first

:02:56. > :03:01.yesterday after an emergency landing yesterday. Fortunately no-

:03:01. > :03:04.one was hurt. Airlines around the world have decided to keep their

:03:04. > :03:10.Dreamliners on the ground until they are safe. We are talking about

:03:10. > :03:14.batteries that why overheating on this aeroplane. Once this issue is

:03:14. > :03:18.sorted out, the wiring and the battery issue is fixed, then I have

:03:18. > :03:22.no doubt that the governing bodies will allow this aeroplane to be

:03:22. > :03:28.back in the sky. Flying is one of the safest ways to travel and these

:03:28. > :03:33.problems are only affecting the Dreamliner. It's makers say they

:03:33. > :03:35.are working around the -- its makers say they are working round

:03:35. > :03:39.the clock to get them back in the air safely.

:03:39. > :03:42.US President Barack Obama has laid out his plans to do to more about

:03:42. > :03:45.the thousands of people who are killed in the country every year by

:03:45. > :03:48.guns. The President stood next to children who have written to him

:03:48. > :03:52.asking to do more, after a shooting at a school in Connecticut last

:03:52. > :03:56.month left 26 people dead. He wants to ban some of the most powerful

:03:56. > :03:58.weapons and stop them falling into the hands of criminals. But lots of

:03:58. > :04:04.people in the US believe passionately in their right to own

:04:04. > :04:11.guns and don't want the rules to change. This is our first task as a

:04:11. > :04:16.society - keeping our children safe. This is how we will be judged. And

:04:16. > :04:23.their voices should compel us to change. To keep our children safe.

:04:23. > :04:26.To help prevent mass shootings. To reduce the broader epidemic of gun

:04:26. > :04:29.violence in this country. We'll have a closer look at that

:04:29. > :04:32.story in our bulletin at 6.50pm. Next to the Australian Open tennis

:04:32. > :04:34.in Melbourne, where it's been another great day for the Brits.

:04:34. > :04:37.Laura Robson, who turns 19 on Monday, claimed another big Grand

:04:37. > :04:40.Slam win with an epic late-night win over 2011 Wimbledon champion

:04:40. > :04:45.Petra Kvitova. Laura recovered from 3-0 down to win the final set 11-9,

:04:45. > :04:48.in a match finishing well after midnight local time. Earlier, Andy

:04:48. > :04:53.Murray powered through to the third round in straight sets over
