:00:21. > :00:26.Afternoon Newsrounders, it's the end of the week and have we got

:00:26. > :00:29.that Friday feeling? Well, I know you have Joe and I don't blame you

:00:29. > :00:32.with the show we've got ahead! Here's what's coming up... We'll

:00:32. > :00:38.tell you about the 10-year-old with his name written in the stars!

:00:38. > :00:42.why Cher's lost her swagger with Cheryl. First to the news that's

:00:42. > :00:46.got all of you talking. Putting on your England strip might seem like

:00:46. > :00:51.the best way to support the team when Euro 2012 kicks off in a few

:00:51. > :00:54.months. But if you want to be kitted out in the latest version

:00:54. > :00:57.you're going to have dig into the piggy bank because the FA have

:00:57. > :01:01.announced they're getting rid of this current one. Even though the

:01:01. > :01:06.team's only worn it a handful of times. It's led to some fans

:01:07. > :01:10.calling them money-grabbing but the FA say they've done nothing wrong.

:01:10. > :01:14.The current England kit, shown off for the very first time. Jermain

:01:14. > :01:18.Defoe celebrating after scoring in the new strip in September 2010.

:01:18. > :01:21.And here it is being worn for the very last time during the team's 1-

:01:21. > :01:24.0 win over Sweden last November. All together it was a strip worn

:01:24. > :01:31.for just eight games. And that's left some footy fans less than

:01:31. > :01:37.impressed. I don't think it is necessary. It is a waste of money.

:01:37. > :01:40.It is a New Year, a fresh start. is a waste of time and money when

:01:40. > :01:45.parents have worked for ages, they got wages and they have bought kids

:01:45. > :01:50.kits. It's a waste of money. A new start, new manager, but a waste of

:01:50. > :01:54.money. The Football Association say changing the kit was always on the

:01:54. > :01:57.cards when they signed a new eight year deal with Umbro, the sponsor,

:01:57. > :02:00.just after the last World Cup. They made it clear that kits would be

:02:00. > :02:04.changed every 18 months rather than the old arrangement where a new

:02:04. > :02:08.strip only came in every two years, in time for a major championship.

:02:08. > :02:12.To be fair to the FA the England kit isn't changed as often as most

:02:12. > :02:20.Premier League teams. Here at Man City and across the country strips

:02:20. > :02:24.are changed at the start of every new season. But the difference is

:02:24. > :02:27.fans get at least 38 games to enjoy their club's kit, not just eight.

:02:27. > :02:31.And The FA insist any money generated from the sale of official

:02:31. > :02:41.England gear is reinvested in the game. England does have a long and

:02:41. > :02:53.

:02:53. > :02:56.history of trying out different kits. Since 1966 when England won

:02:56. > :02:59.their first and only World Cup, they've had 30 changes. Some more

:02:59. > :03:02.memorable than others. But the one England kit that's sticking around

:03:02. > :03:06.for a while is the blue away strip, that's not being replaced until

:03:06. > :03:11.2013. All eyes will be on England's friendly against the Netherlands in

:03:11. > :03:15.two weeks when the brand new kit will be shown off. Then we'll all

:03:15. > :03:25.be able to judge once and for all whether the change really was worth

:03:25. > :03:39.

:03:39. > :03:42.it. And we've been getting plenty , Well, speaking of English

:03:42. > :03:46.football, the team still needs a manager and Tottenham boss Harry

:03:46. > :03:54.Redknapp's says he reckons someone could take charge. And manage a

:03:54. > :03:57.Premier League team at the same time. Harry's the hot favourite for

:03:57. > :04:01.the job, and now on of the world's most famous footballers has backed

:04:01. > :04:05.him to become the main man. Harry is a great man, great manager, his

:04:05. > :04:09.management is incredible. I know players who have played under him,

:04:09. > :04:18.I have trained under him and he is not just a great manager but a

:04:18. > :04:21.great person as well. Now to Libya, where it's exactly one year since

:04:21. > :04:24.the start of the protests that eventually got rid of the leader,

:04:24. > :04:27.Colonel Gaddafi. Celebrations have been taking place in towns and

:04:27. > :04:30.cities across the country. Gaddafi ruled the country for 40 years but

:04:30. > :04:34.turned on his own people when they tried to replace him. Libya's a

:04:34. > :04:36.long way off being stable though, with rebel groups still on the

:04:36. > :04:41.streets and fighting continuing in some places. Now yesterday we

:04:41. > :04:44.promised you a space exclusive. we've not let you down. There are

:04:44. > :04:47.thousands of satellites out there in the Universe but there's not

:04:47. > :04:50.many that are named after kids your age. But that's all changed today

:04:50. > :04:57.with the announcement that the very latest space probe's got the same

:04:57. > :05:00.name as school boy from London. Intrigued? Watch this...

:05:00. > :05:03.This is Patrick, and he's fulfilling every kid's dream -

:05:03. > :05:06.having a sneak preview of the very latest space satellite before it

:05:06. > :05:09.gets fired into orbit. But it gets better... The satellite in question

:05:09. > :05:12.is named after him! He was the lucky winner of a nationwide

:05:12. > :05:17.competition after sending in this picture of what the new space kit

:05:17. > :05:22.could look like. "The Patrick" will be one of 26 satellites that make

:05:22. > :05:28.up the most accurate GPS system around. That's the system that

:05:28. > :05:31.controls your mobile phone and your mum and dad's sat nav in their car.

:05:31. > :05:36.I have always been interested in space, it is amazing, it fascinates

:05:36. > :05:44.me because nobody knows what is out there. It will make an mystery for

:05:44. > :05:47.a long time. -- it will remain. of the satellites are being built

:05:47. > :05:50.right here. But before Patrick goes inside, he's got to get kitted out

:05:50. > :05:53.because just a single hair, or speck of dust, could break the

:05:53. > :05:57.satellite's high-tech computers before they even get into orbit. At

:05:57. > :05:59.the moment all the GPS signals to our cars and phones are supplied by

:05:59. > :06:09.American satellites, but the Galileo system will be run from

:06:09. > :06:13.Europe and therefore be much more accurate. You might be able to

:06:13. > :06:20.locate yourself with normal GPS in your garden, but with Galileo you

:06:20. > :06:22.could tell which part of a room you are in. To make sure they're

:06:22. > :06:26.perfect, scientists have to work in clean, temperature controlled rooms

:06:26. > :06:29.to build the space crafts' parts, before sending them off to other

:06:29. > :06:32.countries like Russia to be blasted in to space. The rest of the

:06:32. > :06:35.satellites will each be launched every three months, until all 26

:06:35. > :06:40.are in orbit. But today it's all about the Patrick.

:06:41. > :06:44.Funky music. The bout was called. Staying with music... Next, she

:06:44. > :06:47.might have the old swagger jagger but pop star Cher Lloyd's had to

:06:47. > :06:51.say a big sorry to her X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole. Cher upset

:06:51. > :06:55.Chezza earlier this week when she said she couldn't sing in tune. But

:06:55. > :06:57.Cher's now apologised and said she would love it if the two of them

:06:58. > :07:07.could perform live together. what accent do you reckon goats

:07:08. > :07:16.

:07:16. > :07:19.talk in? Baa-mingham?! Scientists have been listening to the little

:07:19. > :07:22.bleeters and reckon they change their sound depending on where they
