:00:18. > :00:23.Hello there. Ricky and Sonali here with your end-of-the-week Newsround.

:00:23. > :00:27.We're coming to you live just after five. Here's what's coming up:

:00:27. > :00:32.boy who was banned from school because of his hair. And we have an

:00:32. > :00:34.off-duty chat with the stars of Horrible Histories.

:00:34. > :00:40.First, we're talking streaming in school and whether kids should be

:00:40. > :00:43.put into different sets in class. This week, we found out that by the

:00:43. > :00:46.time you're seven, one in six of you has been streamed according to

:00:46. > :00:50.how good you are at different subjects. We asked you to let us

:00:50. > :00:53.know whether you think this is fair, and hundreds of you got in touch on

:00:53. > :00:56.our website. Anna from Derbyshire, who's 11, thinks streaming is good

:00:56. > :00:58.because, "you get to work with other people of the same ability."

:00:58. > :01:01.13-year-old Jack from Nottingham says it means, "the cleverest

:01:01. > :01:04.people get pushed really hard." 14-year-old Pippa from Newcastle

:01:04. > :01:07.thinks streaming kids is a bad idea because if you're in a bottom set,

:01:07. > :01:09."you may feel useless and embarrassed." And Alfie, who's 12

:01:09. > :01:12.and from Hertfordshire, also reckons it's a bad idea, because

:01:12. > :01:20.he's in the bottom set for everything and all the people who

:01:20. > :01:24.disrupt classes are in his sets. We're now joined by Daisy

:01:24. > :01:29.Christodoulou, who's a teacher. Thanks for coming in, Daisy. Why do

:01:30. > :01:34.schools stream pupils in the first place? The reason why schools

:01:34. > :01:38.stream is to help their pupils to learn. So if you are put into an

:01:38. > :01:45.ability set, what that means that all of the other pupils in that

:01:45. > :01:52.case will be roughly the same ability as you, so you will be able

:01:52. > :01:59.to study the same material and go at the same pace. Why do you think

:01:59. > :02:03.it's a good thing? If not, a lot of the pupils will find the work too

:02:03. > :02:08.easy and others will find it too hard. Pippa says it makes her feel

:02:08. > :02:13.useless. What would you say to kids in the bottom sets who think it is

:02:13. > :02:17.unfair because they get branded stupid? That's bad, if pupils are

:02:17. > :02:20.branded stupid and called names, that is bad, and speak to your

:02:20. > :02:25.teacher. Just because nuclear the bottom set doesn't mean you are

:02:25. > :02:28.stupid. We are all good at some things and less good at other

:02:28. > :02:32.things. We all have different talents and abilities. The

:02:33. > :02:38.important thing is you work hard and do the best to your ability.

:02:38. > :02:44.Thank you Daisy. Now to the boy who was banned from

:02:44. > :02:51.school for wearing his hair like this, in corn rous. We can't show

:02:51. > :02:55.you his face for legal reasons. The school said it didn't fit with

:02:55. > :02:59.their uniform policy. The court said the school's decision to ban

:02:59. > :03:02.him was racist and against the law. Some good news for those of you who

:03:02. > :03:05.applied for Olympic tickets and missed out. Like me! You'll have

:03:05. > :03:09.first dibs at the 2.3 million tickets that will go on sale next

:03:09. > :03:18.week. Most of them are for football. The rest are for sports like

:03:19. > :03:24.archery and hockey. Let's face it, when it comes to sport, colours are

:03:24. > :03:32.important. If you were Spurs like me, blue is a big deal. I'm more of

:03:32. > :03:37.an Arsenal red. Today I am in blue. Shy have planned this better! The

:03:37. > :03:43.new kit has a splash of blue in it, the colour of rival Everton. We've

:03:43. > :03:47.been speaking to fans on both sides. Thing is is not a kit for Liverpool,

:03:47. > :03:52.because it looks like an Everton kit. I think this kit will make

:03:52. > :03:59.them play like Everton and they'll just lose. I think Liverpool have

:03:59. > :04:08.always had red all over the kit. I do think they need a change. It is

:04:08. > :04:12.quite awful, because they look better in red and not blue. They

:04:12. > :04:15.are stealing our colours because blue is for winners and red for

:04:15. > :04:19.losers. I don't think this is Liverpool Football Club, the fans

:04:19. > :04:23.or the club, because Liverpool have been red since it was established

:04:23. > :04:29.in 1892. If you hate it, the good thing is

:04:29. > :04:32.they hardly ever wear the blue kill. And it is not really blue, it is

:04:32. > :04:35.sighian. I hate Sunday evenings because it

:04:35. > :04:38.means it's nearly the end of the weekend, and they're about to get

:04:38. > :04:42.even more horrible because Horrible Histories is back with a new series.

:04:42. > :04:45.The show is still on CBBC of course, Tuesdays at 5.15pm. Write it down!

:04:45. > :04:48.But now a different version will be on BBC One at 6.00pm on Sundays.

:04:48. > :04:57.Leah caught up with two of the show's stars, who look very

:04:57. > :05:00.different out of costume! We get to do whatever we aren't really.

:05:00. > :05:06.idiots trying to make each other laugh competition, that they happen

:05:06. > :05:11.to put on telly. Look at her! love that. Martha, you play Queen

:05:11. > :05:14.Elizabeth. What was that like? love playing her because she is

:05:14. > :05:23.very bossy and she is quite horrific to look at, so it is a

:05:23. > :05:27.lovely character to play. It must be a stretch for you! Perfect teeth,

:05:28. > :05:31.porcelain skin, why however did you manage to capture my good looks.

:05:31. > :05:35.Where do you come up with the ideas around the history of what you

:05:35. > :05:41.bring? We start with the facts and sometimes that fact is enough to

:05:41. > :05:45.fill an entire sketch. Other times it is a case with the songs it is

:05:45. > :05:51.30 different facts stitched together. We'll take everything

:05:51. > :05:57.that you own and get back on our ship and go back home #

:05:57. > :06:02.If you could transport yourself back in time which rear ra would

:06:02. > :06:08.you like to explore? I would love to go back to Victorian times. I

:06:09. > :06:17.love the fact they had an amazing can-do attitude. People will say

:06:17. > :06:20.you can't build a steam train under London" and they said, "You watch."

:06:21. > :06:28.Is this an amazing thing to be involved with? Absolutely. While

:06:28. > :06:32.we've always approached it as a comedy show, we've never forgotton

:06:32. > :06:38.fabgtdz. There is so much checking that goes on. A guy's job on the

:06:38. > :06:43.show is purely to do the historical search. It is important to do both,

:06:43. > :06:46.because it is an educational show. Just time to tell you what the

:06:46. > :06:49.Match of the Day Kickabout gang are up to this week. We've got the

:06:49. > :06:51.latest comings and goings on the managerial merry-go-round - Alex

:06:52. > :06:54.McLeish's move from Birmingham to Villa being the biggest shocker of

:06:55. > :06:57.course. The Murray brothers - that's Andy and Jamie - tell me

:06:58. > :07:00.about their footy heroes. Man United star Nani has sent us a

:07:00. > :07:03.postcard from his jollies. And someone call an optician, because

:07:03. > :07:13.we're seeing double! We've got a great impressionist on the show.

:07:13. > :07:14.

:07:14. > :07:18.All that tomorrow at 7.25am on the CBBC channel, and 11.40am on BBC 2.

:07:18. > :07:21.Before we go, we want to leave you with a weekend treat! Oh yes. If
