:00:00. > :00:00.Martin here with all of Monday's best stories.

:00:00. > :00:11.How Spike the stag beetle is changing the art world.

:00:12. > :00:21.And the cows trumping climate change.

:00:22. > :00:25.Massive news for Whovians - a new Doctor has been revealed.

:00:26. > :00:28.Jodie Whittaker will be the 13th Time Lord.

:00:29. > :00:31.She's the first woman to play the character in the show's history,

:00:32. > :00:33.and will start when the Doctor regenerates in the

:00:34. > :00:41.We've been asking what you think about it.

:00:42. > :00:53.I was really happy because I have heard that it has just been male

:00:54. > :01:00.since it started. It is going to go very good, because I know females

:01:01. > :01:03.can do the same thing as males. I don't think the woman will be better

:01:04. > :01:11.than the man because men are better at acting. I'd like to see her

:01:12. > :01:12.change the spaceship sort looks more up-to-date and she could change the

:01:13. > :01:13.colour. But now there's a huge row

:01:14. > :01:20.about the way they've been marked. Two tests with the same question

:01:21. > :01:27.and the same answer, but one has been marked right

:01:28. > :01:32.and the other is wrong. That was a real question in a recent

:01:33. > :01:35.Sats test for 10 to 11-year-olds, but it's the way these questions

:01:36. > :01:38.have been marked that's got a lot So we've got some examples right

:01:39. > :01:44.here, and we want these guys to see if they can tell what's right

:01:45. > :01:50.and what's wrong. I think it's right because

:01:51. > :01:53.they did put the letters Well, I think the commas

:01:54. > :02:04.are inserted in the right place So should that matter,

:02:05. > :02:09.the way it goes? No, because the student knows how

:02:10. > :02:12.to do it, but they're just being told off for not

:02:13. > :02:15.doing it right. Although children answered the right

:02:16. > :02:20.question, some failed to get a mark because of the shape

:02:21. > :02:24.of their semicolon and commas. Others got marked down for not

:02:25. > :02:26.putting their answer inside a box, even though it didn't tell

:02:27. > :02:29.you you would get marked down I think it's unfair

:02:30. > :02:38.because the person who has written the comma like that could have got

:02:39. > :02:41.99, which is one mark I think this is the wrong

:02:42. > :02:47.way to test people. They should have told them then

:02:48. > :02:50.they could have known If you can see a semicolon,

:02:51. > :02:55.then you can see a semicolon. It tells you to put it

:02:56. > :02:58.in the right place, which is what these people have

:02:59. > :03:00.done, but they've still lost the mark even though they've done

:03:01. > :03:06.the question as it said. Some teachers have spoken

:03:07. > :03:09.out on social media, saying they weren't told

:03:10. > :03:13.about the marking rules. So we got in touch with the people

:03:14. > :03:17.who come up with the test, as well as the Department for

:03:18. > :03:18.Education. They're the people in Government

:03:19. > :03:20.in charge of schools. The Government told Newsround

:03:21. > :03:23.that they wanted to make sure children were using and forming

:03:24. > :03:30.punctuation correctly and had given advice to people marking it

:03:31. > :03:32.to make sure it was fair. And Pearson, the company in charge

:03:33. > :03:35.of marking your tests, told us that mistakes in marking

:03:36. > :03:38.are rare but they want teachers who are worried to get in touch

:03:39. > :03:43.so they can look into it. The Humber Bridge and a block

:03:44. > :03:46.of public toilets in Hull have both They have been honoured

:03:47. > :03:49.with a listed status, alongside seven other places

:03:50. > :03:51.in the city, to celebrate Hull during its year

:03:52. > :03:58.as the UK City of Culture. But what exactly does

:03:59. > :04:00.getting listed status mean? Head to Newsround

:04:01. > :04:12.online for our guide. This beetle is on his way to

:04:13. > :04:16.becoming a famous artist. Spike shot to fame last week

:04:17. > :04:19.after his human teacher posted Now one of his paintings has sold

:04:20. > :04:23.for more than ?1,200. Finally to the cows

:04:24. > :04:25.helping to save the world. Allow to explain: When cows

:04:26. > :04:34.release wind they produce something called Methane Gas,

:04:35. > :04:37.which is harmful to the environment. Now farmers in Kenya think

:04:38. > :04:39.they have come up with a plan They say a good balanced diet

:04:40. > :04:44.of healthy grass and plenty of love That's all from the team today,

:04:45. > :04:48.Newsround's back right Don't forget to go online for all

:04:49. > :04:52.the rest of the day's stories, including everything you need

:04:53. > :05:02.to know about the women's Euro 2017. I love Art Ninja! I love The Next

:05:03. > :05:06.Step!
