:00:00. > :00:00.It's Tuesday morning. You're live with Newsround, and I'm Leah with

:00:00. > :00:20.today's top stories. Sochi Snow Queen Jenny Jones joins

:00:21. > :00:23.us live in the studio. And: I'm Jacqueline Wilson, and stay tuned,

:00:24. > :00:28.because I'm going to be answering your questions later in the

:00:29. > :00:32.programme! First up, for the first time in a good while, we can say

:00:33. > :00:34.that there are no weather warnings across Britain today, meaning the

:00:35. > :00:40.stormy weather is over - for now. Flood waters are still causing major

:00:41. > :00:43.problems across parts of England but the number of severe flood warnings,

:00:44. > :00:49.meaning there's a risk to life, has now gone down to two. Next up, let's

:00:50. > :00:53.head straight to the Sochi Winter Olympics where the GB men's curling

:00:54. > :00:57.team are in a make-or-break game against Norway right now. These are

:00:58. > :01:04.live pictures. They have to win this to make it through to the last four

:01:05. > :01:07.of the competition. Britain are trailing 5-4, but they are just

:01:08. > :01:13.about to play their last shot. This is so exciting. The British women's

:01:14. > :01:20.team went through yesterday and face a tough semifinal against Canada.

:01:21. > :01:24.She's the first person to win an Olympic medal on snow, now Jenny

:01:25. > :01:27.Jones is back from Sochi and in a few minutes we will have a chat with

:01:28. > :01:38.her, but first, he is a reminder of when she made history.

:01:39. > :01:57.Wonderful on the down rack. Check out the grab on.

:01:58. > :02:04.So, Jenny, thank you for joining us. First of all, what does it feel like

:02:05. > :02:11.to have the medal in your hands now? It feels ridiculous. It's just crazy

:02:12. > :02:15.that it is mine. Has it sunk in yet? It's starting to now that I have

:02:16. > :02:20.come back and everyone is congratulating me. Yeah, wow, I

:02:21. > :02:25.think I've done this. What was going through your mind the moment that

:02:26. > :02:30.you knew you could do it? I just never knew. There were so many more

:02:31. > :02:36.competitors to come down, and they could have knocked me out. It wasn't

:02:37. > :02:41.until the last girl went, then I realised, oh, my gosh, I am on the

:02:42. > :02:45.podium. It was an incredible moment when we saw you on the podium. What

:02:46. > :02:50.did your mum and dad and family say to you? My parents were over the

:02:51. > :02:54.moon. They rushed down from the stands. I hadn't seen them, so it

:02:55. > :02:59.was very emotional. They were just really pleased me. They know how

:03:00. > :03:04.hard it has been. Very quickly, Jenny, what are you going to do with

:03:05. > :03:07.that? I will be keeping it very safe and very close to me. Thanks for

:03:08. > :03:14.joining us on the sofa. You are amazing. Now to Jacqueline Wilson

:03:15. > :03:17.answering your question. You'll know her for creating CBBC favourite

:03:18. > :03:20.Tracy Beaker. Her recent book Hetty Feather is being made into a play,

:03:21. > :03:23.and despite being busy with releasing another children's novel

:03:24. > :03:27.she still had time to catch up with Nel. Take a look.

:03:28. > :03:32.We have a question from Anna in Richmond, and she wants to know

:03:33. > :03:38.which is your favourite book of all of yours? I think it would be Hetty

:03:39. > :03:42.Feather. It was a real treat for me to write the book and I was so

:03:43. > :03:47.thrilled when she became very popular with children. How long does

:03:48. > :03:53.it take to write a book, that is from Courtney in Sheffield?

:03:54. > :03:57.Generally it takes me about six months, but even if you don't write

:03:58. > :04:00.your own book, if you try copying at the first chapter of your favourite

:04:01. > :04:06.book, you find out how long it takes. Another question from Jessica

:04:07. > :04:11.in London, she asks what made you want to become a writer? It was

:04:12. > :04:15.because I love book so much. As soon as I realise that the name was an

:04:16. > :04:22.actual author whose job it was to sit at home and write books all day,

:04:23. > :04:26.I got the bug. A question from the whole of the fifth year in Holden

:04:27. > :04:29.primary School in Ashton under Lyne. Do you have a special place where

:04:30. > :04:35.you write your books? Can you write anywhere? Well, year five, I like to

:04:36. > :04:43.ride early in the morning, and upstairs I have a lovely pink sofa,

:04:44. > :04:47.so I lie out in my pyjamas, and if I'm lucky, one of my two gorgeous

:04:48. > :04:51.cats comes and keeps me company and curls up by my feet, and I ride with

:04:52. > :04:58.a pen in a notebook for about an hour. That's all from me. We're back

:04:59. > :05:01.in half an hour. They head to the website to send us your questions

:05:02. > :05:02.for Jenny Jones and will give them to her later.
