:00:00. > :00:07.Hello, morning. Leah here this morning with all you need to know

:00:08. > :00:10.before school, including: Did Grimmy finish his epic Sport Relief

:00:11. > :00:19.challenge? And head over heels in love! This is

:00:20. > :00:23.Newsround. First up. They're back! Britain's

:00:24. > :00:26.most successful Winter Paralympics team in 30 years returned home last

:00:27. > :00:30.night to an impressive welcome. Watch out for flashes in this one.

:00:31. > :00:34.The team flew into Heathrow Airport and were welcomed home by

:00:35. > :00:37.photographers, fans and family. There are now calls for greater

:00:38. > :00:42.funding after they won six medals in total, including their first gold.

:00:43. > :00:46.We went out there to do a task and a job, and we definitely did that. OK,

:00:47. > :00:50.we had some bad days and some good days, but the good has definitely

:00:51. > :00:53.overrode those bad days. It just shows what we were saying six or

:00:54. > :00:57.seven years ago, that visually impaired skiing...we can be up there

:00:58. > :01:01.and in the mix. We believed it and we got people to support us, and it

:01:02. > :01:05.just shows that the support has been put into us, and the investment is

:01:06. > :01:07.paying off. Next, Russia's President Vladimir

:01:08. > :01:10.Putin is expected to invite Crimea to rejoin Russia today, after he

:01:11. > :01:16.recognised the region as independent from Ukraine. It's after a vote on

:01:17. > :01:20.Sunday where 96% of people voted that they also wanted Crimea to be

:01:21. > :01:24.part of Russia again. But Europe and the US say the vote is against the

:01:25. > :01:28.law and have imposed travel bans on important figures from Russia.

:01:29. > :01:32.Now, for more than 300 years Scotland has been part of the UK,

:01:33. > :01:35.and in six months time, on September 18, Scotland will hold a vote where

:01:36. > :01:39.people will be asked the simple question: "Should Scotland be an

:01:40. > :01:43.independent country?" And they will have to decide Yes or No. It'll be a

:01:44. > :01:47.huge moment for the country, as Ricky's been finding out.

:01:48. > :01:50.They're the same age, have similar interests and live only 20 minutes

:01:51. > :01:58.apart, but there is one thing these two teenagers massively disagree on.

:01:59. > :02:04.My name is Lewis, I'm 16 and in September I'll be voting No. Hi, my

:02:05. > :02:08.name is Sarah, I'm 16 years old and I will be voting Yes in the

:02:09. > :02:13.referendum. On September 18, voters will be asked should Scotland be an

:02:14. > :02:18.independent country. They'll have to choose Yes or No. This is the first

:02:19. > :02:21.time the voting age has been lowered, so 16 and 17-year-olds will

:02:22. > :02:29.get a chance to say how their country should be run. When it did

:02:30. > :02:34.first come up I didn't know much about it, so I had to go and look at

:02:35. > :02:37.the two sides to make up my mind, and then I got quite into it and

:02:38. > :02:41.excited about it. It is something I don't think many people my age will

:02:42. > :02:45.ever get an opportunity to do, no matter what country they are in. To

:02:46. > :02:50.be handed that opportunity makes me feel so excited. It is unbelievable.

:02:51. > :02:56.Hi, my name is Annabel and I'm ten years old. Hi, my name is Alexandra

:02:57. > :02:59.and I am nine years old. Sarah and Lewis will get the chance to vote on

:03:00. > :03:03.Scotland's future. They'll be deciding what kind of country their

:03:04. > :03:09.younger brothers and sisters will be growing up in. So Sarah, why are you

:03:10. > :03:13.voting Yes? I am voting Yes because I think that, if we had independence

:03:14. > :03:17.for Scotland, we would have more of a voice, and will be able to do what

:03:18. > :03:23.we want, and control our own things that we need and our own money.

:03:24. > :03:26.Lewis, why are you voting No? I'm voting No because I don't think

:03:27. > :03:30.Scotland has the money to give the people the kind of lives they

:03:31. > :03:33.deserve, and I have much more faith in Scotland if it were to stay a big

:03:34. > :03:37.part of Britain overall. So, although the question may be a

:03:38. > :03:39.simple one, the choices made by people like Lewis and Sarah will

:03:40. > :03:42.shape Scotland's future for generations to come.

:03:43. > :03:45.And Grimmy has finally completed his Sport Relief cycle challenge. The

:03:46. > :03:49.Radio One DJ and his mates spent 12 hours from 7am, cycling 1000 miles

:03:50. > :03:54.on a bike. It wasn't easy and he had to slip on extra padding after

:03:55. > :03:58.getting saddle sore. He raised over ?115,000.

:03:59. > :04:01.Chelsea play Galatasaray in the second leg of their last 16

:04:02. > :04:05.Champions League tie tonight. The Blues drew one all in the first leg

:04:06. > :04:09.and will want to avoid being the third English team to be knocked out

:04:10. > :04:12.at this stage of the competition this year. Jose Mourhino is looking

:04:13. > :04:16.forward to coming up against former striker Didier Drogba.

:04:17. > :04:21.We all agree one of the most important players in the history of

:04:22. > :04:30.our club. Is he the same player at 36 than he was at 26? I think nobody

:04:31. > :04:36.is, but he is one of the best strikers in the world.

:04:37. > :04:40.Finally, the seventh annual UK Wife Carrying Championships have been

:04:41. > :04:44.taking place in Dorking. You don't have to be married to take part and

:04:45. > :04:47.there's loads of techniques, including the piggy-back, and the

:04:48. > :04:50.fireman's carry. Rich Blake Smith and his partner Anna won and will

:04:51. > :04:55.now compete at the World Championships in Finland in July.

:04:56. > :05:00.I'm back at 8:15am - see ya.
