:00:00. > :00:00.Hi, I'm Ricky and this is Newsround live on CBBC this

:00:00. > :00:17.Coming up, we'll hear from a camera operator who had a lucky escape

:00:18. > :00:22.I was part of a BBC team caught up Mount Etna during a volcanic

:00:23. > :00:22.explosion. The unusual kites flying

:00:23. > :00:29.high in China... And the stars of Beauty

:00:30. > :00:31.and the Beast tell us But first to the BBC film makers

:00:32. > :00:44.who dodged burning rocks and boiling steam when a volcano

:00:45. > :00:46.erupted in Europe. The team were filming

:00:47. > :00:48.Mount Etna on the island The camera operator who filmed this

:00:49. > :01:15.footage has told Newsround My name is Rachel Brice, and I am a

:01:16. > :01:21.camerawoman. I was part of a BBC team caught up Mount Etna during a

:01:22. > :01:25.volcanic explosion. In the footage, you can see that I managed to

:01:26. > :01:30.capture this explosion happening and realised quickly we had to get off

:01:31. > :01:35.the mountain. Quickly and safely. As you can see in the footage, I fall

:01:36. > :01:43.over and as I have done so, there were rocks which came up and fell

:01:44. > :01:48.down. At that moment, I thought we really

:01:49. > :01:54.need to get off of here. At that point, I had a rock or through one

:01:55. > :01:58.of my big jackets, and it went right down into my back, caught into

:01:59. > :02:06.another jacket. It has caused a big hole in the middle.

:02:07. > :02:09.Rugby now and it's the last day of the Six Nations today.

:02:10. > :02:11.Scotland and Italy are battling it out at the moment.

:02:12. > :02:15.A sweet strike, straight in between the posts!

:02:16. > :02:17.This early penalty from Scotland's Stuart Hogg set the tone

:02:18. > :02:20.and the team are in the lead 15-0 at the moment.

:02:21. > :02:23.England face Ireland later this afternoon and will set a new world

:02:24. > :02:32.Next to the 'tale as old as time' which is being told again.

:02:33. > :02:35.The remake of Beauty and the Beast is finally out in cinemas.

:02:36. > :02:43.Jenny went to meet the stars of the movie...

:02:44. > :02:51.# Certain as the sun # It was exciting living out one of my

:02:52. > :02:57.favourite fairy tales. It is living in your childhood fantasy, it

:02:58. > :03:00.doesn't get much better! But in still for him, anyway! It is

:03:01. > :03:05.definitely important to your character, but why do you think that

:03:06. > :03:12.reading is so important? It allowed me to form my own ideas, and at

:03:13. > :03:16.times it has been a friend to me, and an escape. We must remember that

:03:17. > :03:20.their parts of this world where girls are not allowed to go to

:03:21. > :03:24.school because they are girls. And books are these sacred things that

:03:25. > :03:32.not everybody can get their hands on. They are a luxury. What are your

:03:33. > :03:38.favourite childhood books? Matilda. Roald Dahl. I was a big fan. And I

:03:39. > :03:41.loved Philip Pullman, his dark materials, and obviously Harry

:03:42. > :03:44.Potter! There have been quite a lot of live-action remakes, what would

:03:45. > :03:49.you say to people who think they should be left as they are? The

:03:50. > :03:54.technology, what CGI can do, it is a way of blowing open the stories in a

:03:55. > :03:58.whole different way. I think it is great, it is iconic. It's a story

:03:59. > :04:06.that has been told for generations. Disney has taken it and allowed it

:04:07. > :04:15.to exist in a number of incarnations. That is wonderful. And

:04:16. > :04:19.finally, what do you hope they take from the film and your betrayals of

:04:20. > :04:23.the characters? This idea and beam of never judging a book by its cover

:04:24. > :04:31.is so important. Now more than ever. People fear what is different. The

:04:32. > :04:34.Beast is different. You might have a different colour skin or be covered

:04:35. > :04:39.in fur, but beneath it, that is way more important.

:04:40. > :04:42.Next, there's some weird and wonderful sights in the sky

:04:43. > :04:46.Gliding through the sky above China's Sichaun Province...

:04:47. > :04:51.The annual kite festival there has started in style.

:04:52. > :04:53.Butterflies, horses, wolves and wheels are just some

:04:54. > :05:04.of the wacky designs soaring through the sky.

:05:05. > :05:10.But it's this kite that has attracted the most attention.

:05:11. > :05:12.The huge Chinese dragon is 48 meters long and took around

:05:13. > :05:15.And could it be this kite be the wackiest?

:05:16. > :05:19.The man is riding the bicycle and the wind makes the mans legs

:05:20. > :05:23.Lots of people have travelled to the area to watch these

:05:24. > :05:29.It's a fitness tracker for cats and dogs that's becoming

:05:30. > :05:33.popular in Hong Kong, in South East Asia.

:05:34. > :05:38.It's put on their collar and then the owner looks on their phone

:05:39. > :05:40.to see how active their pets have been.

:05:41. > :05:43.And if that isn't enough news for you today go online for loads

:05:44. > :05:45.of stories including: the newly discovered frogs

:05:46. > :05:49.The baby hippo saying hello to the public for the first time.

:05:50. > :05:51.And why this golfer is saying see you later alligator.

:05:52. > :05:58.That's all from me, Newsround's back tomorrow just before ten.
