0:00:45 > 0:00:48Millie Knight and Brett Wild also won bronze.

0:00:48 > 0:00:50Let's hear from the winners.

0:00:50 > 0:00:56It's been absolutely astonishing, the way that this week has

0:00:56 > 0:01:01gone, from quite low to extremely, extremely high.

0:01:01 > 0:01:04As soon as we crossed that finish line on the second race,

0:01:04 > 0:01:07my confidence got boosted, and for winning the bronze as well,

0:01:07 > 0:01:12it's absolutely amazing.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15To finish on a gold medal and put in one of our strongest performances

0:01:15 > 0:01:19this week is beyond words.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22It hasn't sunk in and I think it probably won't until we get back

0:01:22 > 0:01:27to the UK and are back in our own beds and have a lie in.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29Next up, the snow is back again!

0:01:29 > 0:01:32Parts of the UK have been covered with snow and ice, as the "mini

0:01:32 > 0:01:37beast from the east" sweeps in.

0:01:37 > 0:01:38It's back!

0:01:38 > 0:01:41Just when you thought better weather was on the way.

0:01:41 > 0:01:44Lots of areas in the UK have woken up to snowy and icy scenes,

0:01:44 > 0:01:48but there are weather warnings in the south-west of England,

0:01:48 > 0:01:52south-east and Mid Wales and the West Midlands.

0:01:52 > 0:01:59Five to ten centimetres of snow is forecast to fall.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02There is disruption on the trains, the roads and at some airports.

0:02:02 > 0:02:04Still, at least someone is enjoying it.

0:02:04 > 0:02:07This dog is called Sir Benson.

0:02:07 > 0:02:09He's only got two legs, but luckily his wheels

0:02:09 > 0:02:11are helping him go for walkies in the snow.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14At Manchester United, workers had quite a job

0:02:14 > 0:02:16getting the pitch ready.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20And anyone for a swim?

0:02:20 > 0:02:23I think I'll pass, although it's not putting this lady off.

0:02:23 > 0:02:29Here's hoping the mini beast from the east will be gone soon.

0:02:29 > 0:02:33Well, it might be freezing here, but it's definitely spring elsewhere.

0:02:33 > 0:02:35Check out this amazing sight of cherry blossoms that

0:02:35 > 0:02:37have sprung in China.

0:02:37 > 0:02:41Visitors from all over the country have travelled to see them

0:02:41 > 0:02:44and take photographs.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47Next, we're talking about teachers that inspire you.

0:02:47 > 0:02:50A competition called the Global Teachers Prize is aiming

0:02:50 > 0:02:53to find the world's best teacher.

0:02:53 > 0:02:54The $1 million prize is handed out tonight,

0:02:54 > 0:02:58and a teacher from the UK is in the final ten.

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Let's meet her.

0:03:05 > 0:03:07I absolutely love what I do.

0:03:07 > 0:03:11I can't imagine having any other job.

0:03:11 > 0:03:13They are my kids!

0:03:13 > 0:03:16I am a mum to about 1,400 students.

0:03:16 > 0:03:17Good morning, girls.

0:03:17 > 0:03:18Morning.

0:03:18 > 0:03:19Namaste, ladies.

0:03:19 > 0:03:20Good morning.

0:03:20 > 0:03:21Kalimera, hola.

0:03:21 > 0:03:23How are you?

0:03:23 > 0:03:27My calling in life is to make sure that every single child

0:03:27 > 0:03:30reaches their full potential, that I unlock that,

0:03:30 > 0:03:32that I make sure that, whatever it is that they need

0:03:32 > 0:03:34to achieve, I make it happen for them.

0:03:34 > 0:03:38# Beautiful like diamonds in the sky...

0:03:38 > 0:03:41She would look after me like my mum would look after me.

0:03:41 > 0:03:43It doesn't matter where they come from.

0:03:43 > 0:03:46It doesn't matter who they are.

0:03:46 > 0:03:50She would push you to your full potential, no matter what.

0:03:50 > 0:03:56She's like a hero to me, she really is.

0:03:56 > 0:03:59Now, you'll be used to seeing sights like this in the night sky.

0:03:59 > 0:04:02But what if I told you that, for British Science Week,

0:04:02 > 0:04:04Leicester Cathedral hosted a huge moon.

0:04:04 > 0:04:05Confused?

0:04:05 > 0:04:07Me too.

0:04:07 > 0:04:14Luckily, Ayshah is here to explain more.

0:04:14 > 0:04:18It's not a sight you see every day in a cathedral -

0:04:18 > 0:04:21a huge replica of the moon, hanging from the ceiling.

0:04:22 > 0:04:24These schoolchildren from Leicester have been to check it out.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27We've been looking at the moon, which is incredible.

0:04:27 > 0:04:31Just, it's really, really nice...

0:04:31 > 0:04:33It's just an incredible thing to look at.

0:04:33 > 0:04:36I like looking at the moon because it's really big and it's

0:04:36 > 0:04:38got loads of craters.

0:04:38 > 0:04:43It looks like it would be really hard to count them all.

0:04:43 > 0:04:46I didn't actually know that there was an ocean in it.

0:04:46 > 0:04:47It's bigger than I expected.

0:04:47 > 0:04:50We've been laying down under the moon and trying to find

0:04:50 > 0:04:56the smallest crater, and that's the size of Leicester.

0:04:56 > 0:04:58I found it enjoyable.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01The moon was made by an artist in the UK called Luke Jerram.

0:05:01 > 0:05:07It's seven metres wide and he's studied Nasa images of the moon's

0:05:07 > 0:05:09surface in detail to help him make the replica.

0:05:09 > 0:05:11Susie is a scientist and is running activities for children.

0:05:11 > 0:05:15She wants more people to get into science.

0:05:15 > 0:05:19I am here today because I love science.

0:05:19 > 0:05:22My advice to anyone out there who's interested in science is to study

0:05:22 > 0:05:24hard at school but also do lots of activities

0:05:24 > 0:05:28in your spare time.

0:05:28 > 0:05:31Who knows, one of you watching could be the next person that goes

0:05:31 > 0:05:34to the moon or even onto Mars.

0:05:34 > 0:05:36And finally, it's not just snow falling from the sky these days.

0:05:36 > 0:05:38It's raining gold - sort of.

0:05:38 > 0:05:41200 bars of the precious metal fell from a plane in Russia

0:05:41 > 0:05:44as it was taking off.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46They were left scattered all over the runway but have

0:05:46 > 0:05:48all been recovered.

0:05:48 > 0:05:50It's thought the loading hatch on the plane broke off,

0:05:50 > 0:05:53setting the content free.

0:05:53 > 0:05:55That's it from the weekend team.

0:05:55 > 0:05:58Newsround's back at 7:40am tomorrow.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01Enjoy the snow!
