:00:00. > :00:12.Happy Easter guys! Ayshah here with all the best stories this Good

:00:13. > :00:22.Friday, including: Why one of Britain's best won't be a Wimbledon

:00:23. > :00:24.this summer. Plus... The new discovery they are calling Earth's

:00:25. > :00:28.almost identical cousin. But first, American's President

:00:29. > :00:33.Barack Obama says he's not convinced a new deal to try and calm the

:00:34. > :00:38.tensions in Ukraine will be put into action. It follows a big meeting

:00:39. > :00:41.between key figures from the US, the EU, Russia and Ukraine yesterday.

:00:42. > :00:43.They agreed that armed groups supporting more Russian control

:00:44. > :00:48.should stop taking over government buildings and airports in the east

:00:49. > :00:53.of the country. It follows days of clashes between those groups and the

:00:54. > :01:03.Ukrainian army. Obama says he hopes all sides will help make it happen

:01:04. > :01:09.but is not sure they will. I don't think we can be sure of anything at

:01:10. > :01:16.this point. There is the prospect diplomacy may de-escalate the

:01:17. > :01:22.situation and move towards the goal of letting the true -- Ukrainians

:01:23. > :01:26.making their own decisions. And you can find out about everything that's

:01:27. > :01:28.been going on in Ukraine by checking out our special guide on the

:01:29. > :01:31.website. The most earth-like planet ever

:01:32. > :01:37.found has been discovered by space scientists. It's called Kepler 186

:01:38. > :01:40.F. Catchy name! It was discovered by US agency NASA. They're excited

:01:41. > :01:43.because they say it has the potential to hold water - meaning

:01:44. > :01:46.there is an area on the surface where life could survive. So how

:01:47. > :01:51.similar is it to earth? Kepler 186 F orbits a star which is

:01:52. > :01:54.cooler and dimmer than the sun. So while we may have found a planet

:01:55. > :01:57.that is the same size as Earth and receives a similar amount of energy

:01:58. > :02:01.to what earth receives it orbits a very different star, so perhaps

:02:02. > :02:07.instead of an earth twin we have discovered an earth cousin.

:02:08. > :02:10.Next - to my worst nightmare. Reports of supersized rats roaming

:02:11. > :02:13.UK towns and cities have been rife lately. It's thought that wet

:02:14. > :02:16.weather has forced the furry creatures into urban areas where

:02:17. > :02:21.they've been feasting on all our scraps. But is there any truth in

:02:22. > :02:28.the rumours that rats are getting bigger and bigger? We sent Nel to

:02:29. > :02:31.find out. Rummaging in bins and eating fast

:02:32. > :02:39.food, now there are reports these scavengers are on the increase in

:02:40. > :02:42.number and in size. There are an estimated 10.5 million rats in the

:02:43. > :02:50.UK and it is the job of pest controllers to catch them. The last

:02:51. > :02:54.nine to 12 months, rats are getting bigger. Everyone I speak to in the

:02:55. > :03:01.industry have reported the same. We are going to a private beauty spot

:03:02. > :03:05.where there is a growing report of rats.

:03:06. > :03:09.Why are they getting bigger? It could be more people living in our

:03:10. > :03:13.cities, the way we manage our waste and the wet winter and floods. How

:03:14. > :03:17.have they affected it? The storm drains filled with water so the rats

:03:18. > :03:20.had to get out of there and go somewhere else. We have not had

:03:21. > :03:25.floods for a while but they have moved into the cities a bit further

:03:26. > :03:28.and they will not go back if they have loads of food. Are the rats

:03:29. > :03:34.getting bigger? Will they continue to grow? What makes an animal change

:03:35. > :03:39.shape depends on what's around it. If there is a lot of food to eat,

:03:40. > :03:43.there can be rats that can grow to be much bigger than they are now,

:03:44. > :03:46.perhaps the size of a sheep or a cow. They have not evolved to become

:03:47. > :03:50.bigger, they have not changed from rats a few hundred years ago or even

:03:51. > :03:57.thousands of years ago. There has not been enough time for that, they

:03:58. > :04:01.are simply well-fed rats. Rat catchers like sean are calling on

:04:02. > :04:04.the government to allow the use of stronger poisons, but until then it

:04:05. > :04:13.looks like they are in for a busy summer.

:04:14. > :04:17.Some Tennis news now, British number one Laura Robson is going to miss

:04:18. > :04:20.out on Wimbledon this year after announcing she has to have surgery

:04:21. > :04:24.on her left wrist. Laura's currently number 64 in the world and has

:04:25. > :04:27.completed just one match this year, she struggled with the injury and

:04:28. > :04:30.had an early exit from the Australian Open in January. She's

:04:31. > :04:36.also going to miss the French Open, but hopes she'll be back in action

:04:37. > :04:41.for the US Open in August. Last up, the Royal couple have been

:04:42. > :04:43.getting into the Easter spirit down under as they visited the Sydney

:04:44. > :04:46.Royal Easter Show. William and Kate were greeted by huge crowds and

:04:47. > :04:50.admired the local fruit and veg before and watching farmers sheer a

:04:51. > :04:59.sheep in remarkable speed. Great stuff! That's all from me, I'll be

:05:00. > :05:01.back with your next Newsround update at 420pm. -- 4:20pm.
