0:00:06 > 0:00:09Hi, I'm Ricky with all the latest news this Tuesday morning.

0:00:09 > 0:00:12Coming up in the next few minutes...

0:00:12 > 0:00:13Some high-flying horses.

0:00:13 > 0:00:23And why your phone could be making you feel itchy.

0:00:28 > 0:00:30But first, there has been loads of gold medals

0:00:30 > 0:00:32for Britain on day four of the World Para Athletics

0:00:32 > 0:00:36Championships which are being held at London Stadium.

0:00:36 > 0:00:39Hannah Cockroft won the T34 800m.

0:00:39 > 0:00:45That adds to the gold she had already won in the 100m on Friday.

0:00:45 > 0:00:51Also, Sophie Kamlish took home gold when she won the T43/T44 100m.

0:00:51 > 0:00:54I'm kind of still not really believing it because obviously

0:00:54 > 0:00:58the only other major international medal I've got was a bronze

0:00:58 > 0:01:03in the 200 in 2013, so it's been quite a long time.

0:01:03 > 0:01:07And Olivia Breen won the T38 long jump with a personal best of 4.81m.

0:01:07 > 0:01:11This means that Great Britain are second in the medal table

0:01:11 > 0:01:14with 20 medals in total and a very impressive 11 golds.

0:01:14 > 0:01:20Well done, guys!

0:01:20 > 0:01:22Now to some high-flying horses.

0:01:22 > 0:01:25A new style of horse eventing is hoping to bring a little more

0:01:25 > 0:01:26excitement to the sport.

0:01:26 > 0:01:31We went along with a young super fan to see what it's all about.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38Hi, I'm Izzie.

0:01:38 > 0:01:42I love all things riding and I even enjoy lessons.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45I've been riding since I was about five, but I am

0:01:45 > 0:01:48here today to find out how the professionals do it.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50This is the Event Rider Masters, a new type

0:01:50 > 0:01:56of eventing competition, and I can't wait to see

0:01:56 > 0:01:57the riders in action.

0:01:57 > 0:02:00Eventing is also known as horse trials.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02The competition has three different stages - dressage,

0:02:02 > 0:02:12cross country and showjumping.

0:02:12 > 0:02:14One of the riders here today is Gemma Tatterson.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17She is a very experienced competitor and she was part of the

0:02:17 > 0:02:22British Olympic team at Rio.

0:02:22 > 0:02:32What makes the Event Rider Masters different to other competitions?

0:02:32 > 0:02:34Event Rider Masters is a shortened, more exciting

0:02:34 > 0:02:36version of eventing.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39So it is actually the top 40 riders in the world come forward

0:02:39 > 0:02:42which makes it very, very competitive and the build up towards

0:02:42 > 0:02:45the end of the competition, really exciting for spectators and riders.

0:02:45 > 0:02:48Well done on your lovely showjumping round.

0:02:48 > 0:02:51How are you feeling now you are in seventh,

0:02:51 > 0:02:52heading into the cross-country?

0:02:52 > 0:02:57Yeah, we are really excited.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00Primero is a new ride for me and it is only the second time

0:03:00 > 0:03:01at this level.

0:03:01 > 0:03:05So to jump a really good clear round, to be in the top ten,

0:03:05 > 0:03:06is really exciting.

0:03:06 > 0:03:07I'm going to be giving the cross-country

0:03:07 > 0:03:08my best shot.

0:03:08 > 0:03:11The overall winner is the rider with the fewest penalties

0:03:11 > 0:03:12after the three stages.

0:03:12 > 0:03:13Congratulations on winning.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15How do you feel to win such a big event?

0:03:15 > 0:03:17Thank you very much, Izzie.

0:03:17 > 0:03:17It's really special.

0:03:17 > 0:03:20It's a really special feeling because it doesn't happen

0:03:20 > 0:03:23very often and I just get the impression I have succeeded in

0:03:23 > 0:03:28achieving one of my dreams, so I am over the moon.

0:03:28 > 0:03:30The idea behind the Event Rider Masters is to make

0:03:30 > 0:03:35traditional eventing faster and more exciting.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38I have had a great day and I hope to be competing

0:03:38 > 0:03:42in it myself one day.

0:03:42 > 0:03:49Could your phone give you head lice?

0:03:49 > 0:03:52Some scientists say that if you use a smartphone or a tablet

0:03:52 > 0:03:55you're twice as likely to get head lice than those who don't.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57Huddling together watching videos or taking selfies with friends

0:03:57 > 0:03:59means your heads are touching more often and increases your

0:03:59 > 0:04:00chances of getting them.

0:04:00 > 0:04:04This is a head louse and this is a nit, which is an egg.

0:04:04 > 0:04:06Don't worry, they are nothing to be embarrassed about.

0:04:06 > 0:04:07That's better.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10I know, your whole body just started to feel a little

0:04:10 > 0:04:10bit itchy, didn't it?

0:04:10 > 0:04:13Many people get head lice or nits.

0:04:13 > 0:04:17They are passed on by head to head contact and it's got nothing to do

0:04:17 > 0:04:18with having dirty hair.

0:04:18 > 0:04:19Other lice myths include...

0:04:19 > 0:04:20"Lice can jump."

0:04:20 > 0:04:25That is not true.

0:04:25 > 0:04:29They are not that athletic and the best they can manage is a crawl.

0:04:29 > 0:04:30Look at this guy go!

0:04:30 > 0:04:31"Lice prefer long hair."

0:04:31 > 0:04:36Wrong.

0:04:36 > 0:04:40Lice don't like sunlight so they hide close to the scalp

0:04:40 > 0:04:43and that's the same whether your hair is long or short.

0:04:43 > 0:04:45Some people say lice come from animals.

0:04:45 > 0:04:46That isn't true either.

0:04:46 > 0:04:47They only live on humans.

0:04:47 > 0:04:50No one knows where they came from, but they've been around as far

0:04:50 > 0:04:51back as the Egyptians.

0:04:51 > 0:04:54Still feeling a bit itchy?

0:04:54 > 0:04:57That's all from me, Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.

0:04:57 > 0:05:00Don't miss it.
