:00:15. > :00:19.Hi there, Newsround fans. Ore and Sonali here with all the goings on
:00:19. > :00:24.from around the world. Coming up on the show tonight, we check out the
:00:24. > :00:28.ultimate high-wire experience. And how you'll be able to wander
:00:28. > :00:32.around Hogwarts for yourself. Nel has had a sneak preview of the new
:00:32. > :00:34.Potter behind-the-scenes tour for the public.
:00:34. > :00:37.First, though, ears, noses, tongues, eyebrows, people can get pretty
:00:37. > :00:45.much any part of their bodies pierced, and it's something that a
:00:45. > :00:49.lot of kids want to do too. But is it something your mums and dads
:00:49. > :00:53.should have to agree to? Well, at the moment, only under-16s in
:00:53. > :01:01.Scotland have to get their parents' permission for a piercing. But now
:01:01. > :01:06.Wales is looking into whether it For some, it's a style thing. For
:01:06. > :01:12.others, it's part of their culture. But soon it might be harder to get
:01:12. > :01:15.It's easy to walk into a high- street shop like a jeweller's or a
:01:15. > :01:18.pharmacy like this to get something pierced. While some places might
:01:18. > :01:21.have their own rules about needing your parents' permission, at the
:01:21. > :01:27.moment there's no actual law in Wales, England and Northern Ireland
:01:27. > :01:30.which says how old you have to be to get a piercing. But in Scotland,
:01:30. > :01:36.anyone under 16 has to have their parents' permission to get any part
:01:36. > :01:38.of their body pierced. And now Wales is looking at whether it
:01:38. > :01:40.needs to introduce a similar rule, because it's worried about stats
:01:40. > :01:50.claiming a quarter of people with piercings experience problems like
:01:50. > :01:51.
:01:51. > :01:59.infections. Do you think kids should get permission from their
:01:59. > :02:05.parents? Well, yes, after 13 you shouldn't get permission, because,
:02:05. > :02:09.like, you are grown-up and you know what your responsibilities are.
:02:09. > :02:13.think 16, from then, when you do not need to ask permission, because
:02:13. > :02:17.then you are like an adult. might be against your religion or
:02:17. > :02:24.stuff that you are not allowed to do in your house. I think parents
:02:24. > :02:27.should definitely know before you do it. You can do whatever you want.
:02:27. > :02:29.The Welsh government is going to ask kids, parents and businesses
:02:29. > :02:34.whether they think age restrictions on piercings should be brought in.
:02:34. > :02:37.No word yet whether England and Northern Ireland will do the same.
:02:37. > :02:40.Well, all day, we've been asking you what you think about this
:02:40. > :02:43.online. Cai from South Wales reckons kids should have their
:02:43. > :02:48.parents' permission to get a piercing to stop them making a
:02:48. > :02:51.mistake and regretting it. But Alice wrote in from Leicester to
:02:51. > :02:54.say getting a body piercing is a child's decision. And Hope from
:02:54. > :02:57.Birmingham reckons once you're ten, you're old enough to decide whether
:02:57. > :03:03.you should get your ears pierced. Thanks for those, do let us know
:03:03. > :03:06.what you think on the Newsround Now, we're used to seeing
:03:06. > :03:08.politicians arguing about stuff, but last night they were in
:03:08. > :03:13.agreement about one thing, that information about one of the worst
:03:14. > :03:17.sporting disasters in British history should be made public.
:03:17. > :03:21.22 years ago, 96 Liverpool football fans died in a crush at the
:03:21. > :03:25.Sheffield Wednesday stadium. Not all the details of the
:03:25. > :03:28.investigation into what happened were revealed. Yesterday, after
:03:28. > :03:36.listening to the families of those who died, politicians agreed to
:03:36. > :03:38.release all the documents so people Next, to the other side of the
:03:38. > :03:42.world, where after months of heavy rain, thousands of people in
:03:42. > :03:47.Thailand are struggling for their lives. The country has been hit by
:03:47. > :03:52.the worst flooding in 50 years, and more rain is expected tomorrow. Now
:03:52. > :03:55.the race is on to protect the capital city, Bangkok.
:03:55. > :03:59.More than one million sandbags have been stacked up to keep rising
:03:59. > :04:03.waters out. The flooding started back in July during the monsoon
:04:03. > :04:07.season, where rain falls heavily over a short period of time. It
:04:07. > :04:14.happens every year. But this time it was made a lot worse by a
:04:14. > :04:18.And the rain is still coming down. Some areas in the north are already
:04:18. > :04:23.under two metres of water. Towns and cities have ground to a halt,
:04:23. > :04:27.with factories forced to shut down as the waters rise. More than 300
:04:27. > :04:31.people have died. Now charities are warning that hundreds of thousands
:04:31. > :04:40.of children desperately need help. Earlier I spoke to Brian, who's in
:04:40. > :04:44.Thailand with the charity Save The Children. One boy I talked to
:04:44. > :04:48.mention that he had been in the app evacuation centre for one week. He
:04:48. > :04:53.is not sure what happened to his home. He is not sure when he can go
:04:53. > :04:57.home. Other children I talked to are worried about if they will be
:04:57. > :05:03.able to go to school again. For Thailand in general, with a lot of
:05:03. > :05:06.the factories being flooded, the lot of land being flooded, we are
:05:06. > :05:14.looking at a long time to rebuild and many people have lost their
:05:14. > :05:17.jobs. The flood waters haven't started going down yet, and more
:05:17. > :05:27.rain is forecast tomorrow, so for the people of Thailand, times could
:05:27. > :05:37.be set to get even harder. Today is the 100th anniversary
:05:37. > :05:40.since chewing gum went on sale in the UK. But gum is actually a lot
:05:40. > :05:45.older than that, the sticky stuff dates back centuries to the ancient
:05:45. > :05:48.Greeks who used to chew resin from trees.
:05:48. > :05:52.Now, over the years, Newsround has always made sure it gives you all
:05:52. > :05:55.the behind-the-scenes gossip from the Potter films. Now the makers of
:05:55. > :05:59.the massive movies are opening up their studios so you can see the
:05:59. > :06:06.magic for real yourselves. Nel has been to check out what the new
:06:06. > :06:09.public studio tour will be showing I grew up watching the Harry Potter
:06:09. > :06:15.films, and now I'm here on the actual sets where they were filmed,
:06:15. > :06:19.so why don't you come with me and Of course, the Great Hall doesn't
:06:19. > :06:21.look quite the same as it does in the film, because all the candles
:06:21. > :06:25.are created with special computer graphics, so you'll just have to
:06:25. > :06:29.imagine that bit. And these are the house tables from the Great Hall,
:06:29. > :06:37.but what you might not know is that the actors were encouraged to carve
:06:37. > :06:40.graffiti into them. The attention to detail is just amazing. To make
:06:40. > :06:44.this look like gold, they dipped it in actual gold. And it wasn't just
:06:44. > :06:50.the set I got to snoop around. I also got to quiz some of the Potter
:06:50. > :06:54.stars about their memories of working and living in Hogwarts.
:06:54. > :06:59.Tell me about the secrets of this place, one place that someone
:06:59. > :07:03.should visit when they come. Well, there's so much to say, so much
:07:03. > :07:07.that we have not even seen yeah. I have not even been in this office
:07:08. > :07:12.before, I was not welcome previously. It is nice to be cheeky
:07:12. > :07:18.enough to come and check it out for myself. Every set has got amazing
:07:18. > :07:22.memories. It has been such a long time, we have grown up here, it has
:07:22. > :07:25.been a second home almost. I think it is great that the fans get an
:07:25. > :07:28.opportunity to experience that. What an amazing day, there's just
:07:28. > :07:31.so much to see, including the sorting hat, and when the sets open
:07:31. > :07:36.next year, you muggles will be able to experience the Harry Potter
:07:36. > :07:39.world for yourselves. And finally, to a job for the very
:07:39. > :07:42.brave! When a high-voltage power line in China needed repairing,
:07:42. > :07:52.someone had to go up and fix it. And this guy, a specialist
:07:52. > :07:52.
:07:52. > :07:55.electrician, climbed the pylon to That's all we've got time for right
