:00:20. > :00:38.You're probably used to throwing packaging in the recycling bin,

:00:39. > :00:40.but did you know that some of it is harder

:00:41. > :00:44.Now the biggest "villains" of the recycling world have been named.

:00:45. > :00:52.You're all under arrest - for crimes against recycling.

:00:53. > :00:54.This is a line-up of all the most tricky types

:00:55. > :01:02.A group called the Recycling Association has listed

:01:03. > :01:04.the worst offenders, crisp tubes and sports drinks

:01:05. > :01:07.bottles have taken the top spots - along with cleaning sprays

:01:08. > :01:12.So what makes them so bad to recycle?

:01:13. > :01:15.Well, the more materials used in packaging, the harder

:01:16. > :01:17.it is for recycling machines to separate them out.

:01:18. > :01:26.It's got a metal base, a plastic cap, a metal tear-off lid,

:01:27. > :01:28.and foil-lined cardboard sleeve - and that means it's

:01:29. > :01:36.Pringles have said that the design of the tube means that it "can act

:01:37. > :01:38.as a barrier to keep the crisps fresh", meaning it

:01:39. > :01:42.But if packaging can't be easily recycled, then it will end

:01:43. > :01:43.up as landfill along with ordinary rubbish.

:01:44. > :01:46.To help stop this problem, a new prize is being launched

:01:47. > :01:49.for inventors to design products that are more easily recycled.

:01:50. > :01:51.So if the companies that make these products change their ways,

:01:52. > :01:57.maybe these guys won't end up in the rubbish dump.

:01:58. > :02:02.Now, the way airports work could be changing.

:02:03. > :02:04.London City Airport are switching the way they monitor planes

:02:05. > :02:10.Instead of looking out of the window of the control tower next

:02:11. > :02:13.to the runway they will watch planes land through high tech

:02:14. > :02:16.screens at an office more than 100 miles away.

:02:17. > :02:19.They are the first airport in Britain to use this new virtual

:02:20. > :02:23.control tower technology and say it will be safer.

:02:24. > :02:25.If you're a Rainbow, Brownie or Guide, get ready,

:02:26. > :02:27.because you're about to be set some new challenges.

:02:28. > :02:29.15,000 girls have taken part in testing ideas

:02:30. > :02:32.for a new badge system, set to launch in Summer 2018.
