:00:12. > :00:15.Good afternoon. Leah here with Monday's Newsround.

:00:16. > :00:18.First, there's been a serious incident in London overnight,

:00:19. > :00:21.where a van was driven into a crowd coming out of a mosque

:00:22. > :00:32.I'm in Finsbury Park in the north east of London,

:00:33. > :00:37.There's lots of extra police on the streets

:00:38. > :00:44.Just up the road is the mosque, where worshippers had just

:00:45. > :00:47.finished evening prayers, when a van was driven

:00:48. > :00:54.Several people were hurt, and one man has sadly died.

:00:55. > :00:57.Police say the attacker acted alone, and a man has been arrested.

:00:58. > :01:06.The Prime Minister says the UK won't give into hate.

:01:07. > :01:13.Today we come together as we have done before, to condemn this act and

:01:14. > :01:20.to state once again that hatred and evil of this kind will never

:01:21. > :01:24.succeed. It is a reminder that of terrorism, extremism and hatred take

:01:25. > :01:27.many forms. And our determination to take to tackle them must be the same

:01:28. > :01:33.whoever is responsible. Now, we don't yet know exactly

:01:34. > :01:36.why this attack happened. In the past, Muslims have been

:01:37. > :01:38.targeted because of their religion. Some people in this community say

:01:39. > :01:41.that's what was behind Attacking Muslims as a group

:01:42. > :01:48.is sometimes called Islamophobia - here's our guide

:01:49. > :01:59.to what that means. Islamophobia is when Muslims are the

:02:00. > :02:07.victims of attacks just because of their religion. It worries a lot of

:02:08. > :02:11.people. Islam is a religion and the people who follow it are called

:02:12. > :02:18.Muslims. Almost a quarter of the world's population is Muslim. In the

:02:19. > :02:23.UK it is about one in 20 people. Islamophobia can result in Muslims

:02:24. > :02:30.being targeted online or in person. They can be badly treated, insulted

:02:31. > :02:34.or even physically hurt. Some people have blamed all Muslims for

:02:35. > :02:38.terrorist attacks carried out by extreme groups who say they follow

:02:39. > :02:42.Islam. But many others say those extreme beliefs of hatred and

:02:43. > :02:48.violence have little to do with what most Muslims believe. They also say

:02:49. > :02:54.it is important not to blame a big group of people for what a small

:02:55. > :02:55.number of individuals have done. And that what unites us all is more

:02:56. > :03:00.powerful than what divides us. Here at Finsbury Park,

:03:01. > :03:02.lots of people are shocked about what has happened,

:03:03. > :03:05.and people here and all around the UK are calling for communities

:03:06. > :03:08.to try to come together. And you can keep up to date

:03:09. > :03:15.with everything that we know over And don't forget, if you're

:03:16. > :03:18.upset by this story, or by anything in the news,

:03:19. > :03:21.there's loads of help In other news, fetch,

:03:22. > :03:24.sit and roll over - they're all things that

:03:25. > :03:27.you would teach a dog to do. But what if your dog doesn't

:03:28. > :03:41.understand what you're saying? Stay! Stay! Meet this four-year-old

:03:42. > :03:48.to rescue dog like any other apart from one thing. He doesn't

:03:49. > :03:51.understanding this. Drop it. And although he is a German Shepherd,

:03:52. > :03:58.Germany is in the language you understand. It is polished. Start

:03:59. > :04:02.here only figured out what the language was when a man who speaks

:04:03. > :04:08.Polish took one of the other dogs home. They realised he understood

:04:09. > :04:13.every command. He was sitting down, lying down, he was giving the ball

:04:14. > :04:17.back. He was doing all sorts. Whenever we tried, we got nothing.

:04:18. > :04:24.So now they have started learning Polish. And Caleb has started to

:04:25. > :04:29.understand English, which will make finding him a new home much easier

:04:30. > :04:32.in the future. Maybe even with a family that speaks both languages.

:04:33. > :04:36.Tractor fanatics from around the world have travelled to Poland,

:04:37. > :04:39.to show off their pride and joy at this rally.

:04:40. > :04:41.And they even got to take some of the tractors

:04:42. > :04:45.And finally, meet the latest additions to this

:04:46. > :04:52.These four cubs are just a month old and were born in China.

:04:53. > :04:55.Newsround's back at 7.40 tomorrow morning.

:04:56. > :05:05.Hi, guys, we've important news for you today. So important.

:05:06. > :05:09.Really important. Extremely important. Incredibly important.
