:00:15. > :00:18.with a colourful and musical closing ceremony last night.

:00:19. > :00:22.ParalympicsGB finished with a massive 147 medals,

:00:23. > :00:25.putting them second in the medal table behind China.

:00:26. > :00:32.Martin sent us this final round-up from Brazil.

:00:33. > :00:34.The Paralympics finished how it started, with a closing ceremony

:00:35. > :00:39.packed full of colour, music and dancing.

:00:40. > :00:42.It has been a truly special Games for Great Britain,

:00:43. > :00:45.who won 64 gold medals, the most won by a British

:00:46. > :00:52.Kadeena Cox carried the British flag at the ceremony, capping off

:00:53. > :00:56.a fantastic Paralympics, where she won gold in

:00:57. > :01:03.After a rocky build-up to the games, organisers said the ceremony

:01:04. > :01:07.was a final chance to celebrate Rio de Janeiro and Brazil's hosting

:01:08. > :01:14.80,000 people inside Rio's famous Maracana Stadium also held

:01:15. > :01:17.a minute's silence to remember the life of an Iranian cyclist

:01:18. > :01:25.who passed away at the games during a race.

:01:26. > :01:29.All that was left to do was hand over to Tokyo in Japan,

:01:30. > :01:34.So there you have it, the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games has

:01:35. > :01:38.come to an end and I've got to say, it has been amazing.

:01:39. > :01:40.I've seen some great sporting moments, I've met some

:01:41. > :01:45.of the world's best athletes, but for me the true star of these

:01:46. > :01:49.They've really made it special and they've taken

:01:50. > :01:53.So I suppose there's only one thing left to do and that's

:01:54. > :02:04.And a short while before that fab closing ceremony,

:02:05. > :02:07.Martin caught up with one of the biggest ParalympicsGB stars in Rio -

:02:08. > :02:10.wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft, who won three golds.

:02:11. > :02:14.No wonder she's nicknamed Hurricane Hannah!

:02:15. > :02:17.Obviously, came for three gold medals.

:02:18. > :02:20.I never wanted to aim for anything less than that.

:02:21. > :02:24.I'm confident sprinter, so coming here to do a 400 and 800

:02:25. > :02:28.as well was a little bit far out of my comfort zone,

:02:29. > :02:35.We've had fantastic crowds, big crowds, lively crowds.

:02:36. > :02:40.It's been so much fun that you just wanted to get out there and show

:02:41. > :02:45.To be sharing the podium with a 15 and 16-year-old and being told that

:02:46. > :02:49.you're old at 24 is a little worrying!

:02:50. > :02:53.If you want to see proof of the London legacy,

:02:54. > :02:59.One of the girls on that podium has beaten me,

:03:00. > :03:02.the other has broken one of my world records this year,

:03:03. > :03:05.and it just shows that I'm not unbeatable.

:03:06. > :03:10.And that makes me feel even better about these three gold medals.

:03:11. > :03:13.My friends and family know the work that goes into these and they know

:03:14. > :03:17.that they're not easy to win and they know that it was going

:03:18. > :03:20.to be harder than ever for me to come out here and actually do

:03:21. > :03:23.what I've done, so, yeah, expecting a bit of a big welcome

:03:24. > :03:30.Did that help you to go on and do what you did?

:03:31. > :03:33.I think it took the crowd a little while to warm to me.

:03:34. > :03:35.Obviously, I was in the race with an American,

:03:36. > :03:39.If there was no Brazilian in the race, they'd

:03:40. > :03:41.And for me, that was a strange feeling.

:03:42. > :03:45.I'm so used to being the favourite on the line and suddenly I wasn't

:03:46. > :03:51.So for the first 100 metres, I felt a little bit

:03:52. > :03:58.But the last 100 metres of my 800 metres, I actually wanted to sit up

:03:59. > :04:01.and look around because the whole of the home straight

:04:02. > :04:06.I feel like Brazil have really taken me in a little bit

:04:07. > :04:10.What advice would you give to anybody watching who fancies

:04:11. > :04:12.getting into wheelchair racing or just becoming

:04:13. > :04:19.My advice would be, go out and just take every opportunity you get.

:04:20. > :04:22.Try everything, because I guarantee you will find something you fall
