:00:19. > :00:22.Hey guys, Hayley and Joe here with all you need to know this afternoon.

:00:22. > :00:26.We'll find out what's happened to Gary Lineker's face.

:00:26. > :00:36.We'll also tell you what job Becks wants next.

:00:36. > :00:36.

:00:36. > :00:39.And... We are Ant and Dec. Find out all the Goss on Newsround. First -

:00:39. > :00:42.it's been nearly a week since the Costa Concordia cruise ship

:00:42. > :00:45.capsized off the coast of Italy, killing 11 people. Divers have had

:00:45. > :00:48.to stop their search for survivors yet again today because of worries

:00:48. > :00:54.about their safety. And more and more questions are being asked

:00:54. > :00:58.about why this happened and who is to blame. When it was launched, the

:00:58. > :01:03.Costa Concordia was the largest ship ever built in Italy. Now it

:01:03. > :01:07.lies stranded on its side slowly sinking. So far 11 people have lost

:01:07. > :01:11.their lives and another 21 are missing. But could more have been

:01:11. > :01:16.done to save everyone on the boat? This video shows a crew member

:01:16. > :01:18.telling passenger there is's only been a power cut, after the boat

:01:18. > :01:23.had begun taking in water. TRANSLATION: Everything will be

:01:23. > :01:26.fine. If you want to stand here it's fine, but I'm kindly asking

:01:26. > :01:30.you to go back to your rooms, everything is under control.

:01:30. > :01:36.There's been a lot of criticism of the way passengers were treated,

:01:36. > :01:43.but Rosaline Ringkin, one of the People could have died Was amazing

:01:43. > :01:47.how we even got that amount of people off that ship and safe and

:01:47. > :01:53.sound. Lots of people say Captain Francesco Skettino is to blame for

:01:53. > :01:57.the accident. It is thought he took the ship off course and got into a

:01:57. > :02:01.lifeboat before everybody was rescued. TRANSLATION: The ship was

:02:01. > :02:06.heading forwards, not sideways, there was a rock, we shouldn't have

:02:06. > :02:11.hit it. The rescue operation has stopped today because of fears that

:02:11. > :02:13.the ship could slip further under the water. Hopes of finding the

:02:13. > :02:16.remaining people are fading fast. Police in Londonderry, in Northern

:02:16. > :02:19.Ireland, are looking through pictures from security cameras for

:02:19. > :02:21.clues about who could have planted two bombs which exploded there last

:02:21. > :02:24.night. No-one was hurt, because police managed to get everyone out

:02:24. > :02:28.in time. Officers are investigating whether the bombs were left by a

:02:28. > :02:32.group who want Northern Ireland to be part of a united Ireland instead

:02:32. > :02:36.of the UK. Now, fancy getting involved in the

:02:36. > :02:39.world's biggest bird survey? Well, you can. The charity that looks

:02:39. > :02:43.after birds has set up a project to try to work out how many different

:02:43. > :02:53.types of feathery friends we have in the UK. And you know how much I

:02:53. > :02:53.

:02:54. > :02:58.love to dress up. So, I grabbed my binoculars and went twitching. When

:02:58. > :03:02.Newsround sent me bird watching I was pretty confident I knew what it

:03:02. > :03:07.took to be a good spotter. But I found some chides were the real

:03:07. > :03:14.experts. I think I will join them but I feel a bit overdressed now.

:03:14. > :03:17.These kids are taking part in the RSPB Bill Schools Bird watch

:03:17. > :03:25.Project. They are recording the different species which visit

:03:25. > :03:35.school grounds, including wood pigeons, magpies, and robins. So

:03:35. > :03:39.what have we seen so far? A pigeon, a bluetit, and a magpie. The RSPB

:03:39. > :03:42.hopes everyone will get involved. It is really important. Over

:03:42. > :03:48.500,000 people take part in the wider project, giving us

:03:48. > :03:55.information, so we can't ignore it. It is very useful to us. We track

:03:55. > :03:58.declines and increases in all the birds. It is fun and contributing

:03:58. > :04:04.to scientific data. In the classroom they learn about the

:04:04. > :04:08.foods that the birds eat. Which is your favourite? Robins.

:04:08. > :04:12.nationwide project is in its 11th year now. Since it started, more

:04:12. > :04:15.than 70 different species have been recorded in school grounds. But

:04:15. > :04:23.judging by how determined these guys are, they will probably find

:04:23. > :04:26.even more. They showed me up plich.

:04:26. > :04:29.-- pretty much. And if you want to get involved in

:04:29. > :04:37.the Big Garden birdwatch, check out the Newsround website to find out

:04:37. > :04:42.how. David Beckham has said he wants to Captain this year's team

:04:42. > :04:47.at the Olympics. I obviously stressed how important

:04:47. > :04:50.it is for me to be part of the Olympic team and they said fine, we

:04:50. > :04:58.understand that, we will support you through that and we'll get

:04:58. > :05:01.round it. I've got a chance of playing in it. Check out this

:05:01. > :05:06.cheesy picture of Gary Lineker. It's made of over 500 different

:05:06. > :05:12.types of food, including 72 pieces of cheese! Gary is well impressed

:05:12. > :05:15.and he says he particularly loves his cauliflower ears.

:05:15. > :05:18.How do you fancy a trip to space? Well, that's the prize that could

:05:18. > :05:22.be waiting for whoever wins this year's Britain's Got Talent. Simon

:05:22. > :05:25.Cowell is trying to work out a way to blast the champion into orbit so

:05:25. > :05:28.that they can be the first person to perform to the whole planet!

:05:28. > :05:32.Today was the first day of auditions, so we sent along the

:05:32. > :05:39.most talented man we know, Ore, to find out all the goss and what sort

:05:39. > :05:43.of act the judges reckon will win this year. Britain's Got Talent is

:05:44. > :05:48.back and I'm getting ready to showcase my talents on the red

:05:48. > :05:52.carpet. The only problem is there are a lot of people here and I

:05:52. > :05:58.haven't really got a talent. I will tell you what, why don't I

:05:58. > :06:03.interview the stars instead, because that's what I do best.

:06:03. > :06:09.brand-new panel, a new year, we are looking to find genuine talent.

:06:09. > :06:14.the return of the dark Lord himself. He's back. The boss is coming back.

:06:14. > :06:19.We are really pleased to see him back. The singers can do X Factor.

:06:19. > :06:24.Let's keep this for the nutty acts, the dogs and the granddads.

:06:24. > :06:31.Animals? It would be great to find a comedian or a decent

:06:31. > :06:36.Impressionist. Alesha Dixon, she can sing and dance and she presents

:06:37. > :06:44.on CBBC! Are you auditioning today? I might do now. That was wicked.

:06:44. > :06:49.Will the dancing dog win this year? Yes, and everything I said, there

:06:49. > :06:57.is a gap in the market for a dog to be a star. You saw the silent

:06:57. > :07:02.movie? Who is the star? The dog. Ugge, bless him, is 12, so there'll

:07:02. > :07:07.be a gap in the market. Who will win Britain's Got Talent 2012? Will

:07:07. > :07:16.it be a singer, a dancer, a dancing dog? Will it be a Newsround
