:00:00. > :00:16.Good morning, everyone, Ricky here with your morning Newsround. A

:00:17. > :00:20.brand-new dinosaur discovery that looks like a giant chicken I have

:00:21. > :00:31.been taking a look at the very latest wearable technology gadgets.

:00:32. > :00:38.. First up, Prime Minister David Cameron will meet other European

:00:39. > :00:42.leaders today to talk about what tough rules they can put on Russia

:00:43. > :00:45.after the country's take over of Crimea, a region in southern

:00:46. > :00:49.Ukraine. A vote was held in Crimea at the weekend in which most people

:00:50. > :00:52.said they wanted to leave Ukraine and become part of Russia instead.

:00:53. > :00:56.But other countries don't think this vote was held fairly and lawfully.

:00:57. > :00:59.Ban Ki-moon, the head of the United Nations, is also going to Russia to

:01:00. > :01:03.talk with Russian President Putin. Next, dinosaur news. Scientists in

:01:04. > :01:06.America say they have discovered a new species of dinosaur which they

:01:07. > :01:10.think proves they were still evolving when they went extinct. It

:01:11. > :01:13.looks a bit like a giant chicken and has been identified from three

:01:14. > :01:18.different skeletons found in the fossil rich Hell Creek area of the

:01:19. > :01:21.state of North and South Dakota. Scientists say that even for a

:01:22. > :01:26.dinosaur this one was pretty weird looking. Next to the technology that

:01:27. > :01:30.is shaping our lives from the clothes that help us to keep fit to

:01:31. > :01:33.jewellery that monitors if we have had enough sleep. The very latest

:01:34. > :01:37.wearable technology has been on show in London this week so I went to

:01:38. > :01:44.find out how some of it is changing the way we live.

:01:45. > :01:55.We know technology is getting a lot faster and a lot smaller, it is also

:01:56. > :02:00.getting a lot more wearable. Let me show you this smart jacket which

:02:01. > :02:05.connects to your smartphone and it can tell you whether you are running

:02:06. > :02:11.fast enough or too slow or if you need to pick up the pace and it does

:02:12. > :02:16.that by flashing. This will flash on and off if you are not running fast

:02:17. > :02:24.enough, but it will stay on if you are on target. These are no ordinary

:02:25. > :02:33.shorts. Inside them they have sensors which can measure the

:02:34. > :02:38.movements in your muscles. There are things like wearable cameras and

:02:39. > :02:44.fitness monitors telling me how far I have run. We have all grown to

:02:45. > :02:51.love our gadgets. Most of them connect to our smartphones. This

:02:52. > :02:57.company has created a special film which you can put on the inner

:02:58. > :03:02.components of your mobile phone so it can be protected from water and

:03:03. > :03:08.it works when it is wet. While all of the gadgets are exciting and fun

:03:09. > :03:13.to use, a lot of people think smart glasses will not be on the streets

:03:14. > :03:17.until a couple of years time, but they believe this really is the

:03:18. > :03:22.future. Make sure you are back in front of CBBC in half an hour as I

:03:23. > :03:25.will be meeting the man who is known as the most connected human on

:03:26. > :03:30.earth. Basically he wears a lot of wearable tech. You have got

:03:31. > :03:34.something monitoring your heartbeat and you are taking photos as we

:03:35. > :03:40.speak and it is detecting how fast you are walking. And I am wearing a

:03:41. > :03:44.belt which tells me if I am sitting up straight. Sport now and Robin van

:03:45. > :03:48.Persie's hat-trick last night meant a fantastic comeback for Manchester

:03:49. > :03:51.United over Olympiakos. David Moyes' side won 3-2 on aggregate, taking

:03:52. > :03:54.them into the Champions League quarterfinals. Van Persie's first

:03:55. > :03:57.came from a penalty midway through the first half at Old Trafford. Then

:03:58. > :04:01.just before half-time he scored his second and levelled the tie overall.

:04:02. > :04:04.And he sealed the deal with a second-half free kick. Supporters

:04:05. > :04:07.then faced an agonising 40 minutes as United held on for the win. Could

:04:08. > :04:15.this mean they have turned around their fortunes? That similar

:04:16. > :04:20.question has been asked of me certain times, is it the moment? In

:04:21. > :04:25.truth it has not been and we have not gone on to show it. All I can

:04:26. > :04:30.tell you is we will try and use it the best we can. It is a big job and

:04:31. > :04:37.I have got a lot of things I need to do and it will take time to happen.

:04:38. > :04:40.Finally we meet these two furry creatures, 14-week-old twin polar

:04:41. > :04:43.bear cubs from a zoo in Germany. They have been presented to the

:04:44. > :04:46.public for the first time. The two cubs and mother explored their

:04:47. > :04:50.outside enclosure, bonding well as a family. Keepers say the mother is

:04:51. > :04:56.looking after the Cubs very well and all three are in a good condition.

:04:57. > :04:58.Head over to the website for news about how the flappy bird app might

:04:59. > :04:59.be coming back.
