0:00:03 > 0:00:05Hello, I'm Ayshah, hope you're having a great Breakfast.

0:00:05 > 0:00:08Here's what's coming up...

0:00:08 > 0:00:09Like gaming?

0:00:09 > 0:00:11We review the new Nintendo Switch.

0:00:11 > 0:00:13And what happened next?

0:00:13 > 0:00:18Stay with us to find out...

0:00:24 > 0:00:28First to a story that's got a lot of you talking.

0:00:28 > 0:00:29Social media is meant to be fun, but for some children it can be

0:00:31 > 0:00:32really stressful, too.

0:00:32 > 0:00:35The children's charity the NSPCC have told us that young people

0:00:35 > 0:00:36are getting worried about Snapchat Streaks.

0:00:36 > 0:00:39Ricky's got the details.

0:00:39 > 0:00:44Funny filters, face-swap, and those silly ears.

0:00:44 > 0:00:46Snapchat is now one of the most popular social media

0:00:46 > 0:00:49apps for young people.

0:00:49 > 0:00:52The team behind it claim 25% of smartphone users in the UK have

0:00:52 > 0:00:56downloaded Snapchat, and in the last two years for some

0:00:56 > 0:00:58of you it's become part of your daily routine,

0:00:58 > 0:01:03especially when it comes to Snapchat Streaks.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06In case you didn't know, a Snapchat Streak is when you send

0:01:06 > 0:01:10a snap back and forth to your mates within a 24-hour window.

0:01:10 > 0:01:13To keep it going, you have to send a snap every day.

0:01:13 > 0:01:17The longer your Streak, the more rewards you get.

0:01:17 > 0:01:19But when a Streak suddenly comes to an end, it can

0:01:19 > 0:01:21cause big problems.

0:01:21 > 0:01:23The children's charity the NSPCC told Newsround that they'd received

0:01:23 > 0:01:26a number of calls from young people who'd been really upset or even

0:01:26 > 0:01:33fallen out with their mates because their Snap Streaks ended.

0:01:33 > 0:01:37We've had some calls from children who are worried about Snap Streaks.

0:01:37 > 0:01:41There was one girl who called us, she couldn't get onto Wi-Fi that day

0:01:41 > 0:01:46so she couldn't continue the Snap Streak and that

0:01:46 > 0:01:48made her so worried there would be bullying and people

0:01:48 > 0:01:50would think she didn't like them any more.

0:01:50 > 0:01:53And it's something that's got lots of you talking, too.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55Maybe one day you forget to do your Streak and then

0:01:55 > 0:01:57you could get annoyed about it.

0:01:57 > 0:02:00Some people get up to maybe 600, and if you've lost that

0:02:00 > 0:02:02Snapchat Streak then you're pretty upset, because all those

0:02:02 > 0:02:04days just for nothing.

0:02:04 > 0:02:07I forgot once and then the person got really cross with me.

0:02:07 > 0:02:09You could get in fights with your friends, saying,

0:02:09 > 0:02:13"Why did you not send me one back," or something like that.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16You try really hard to keep it, and it takes quite a few days

0:02:16 > 0:02:19to try and start it, and then when you lose it

0:02:19 > 0:02:20it's really annoying.

0:02:20 > 0:02:23I tried a Snapchat Streak with my dad, I got to about 30

0:02:23 > 0:02:25and then my dad forgot to do one.

0:02:25 > 0:02:27I didn't get angry at him, because everyone makes mistakes.

0:02:27 > 0:02:30We reached out to Snapchat to find out what they thought

0:02:30 > 0:02:32about all this, but they didn't want to comment.

0:02:32 > 0:02:35Snapchat Streaks can be a really fun way of creating a friendship,

0:02:35 > 0:02:37but it shouldn't be a true picture of friendship.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40It can also create bullying and friendship issues,

0:02:40 > 0:02:44you can fall out over a Snapchat Streak, so it is really

0:02:44 > 0:02:46important to think carefully, to use it safely, to have fun,

0:02:46 > 0:02:54and remember it's not a true picture of friendship.

0:02:54 > 0:02:56You have to watch this goalkeeping howler from

0:02:56 > 0:03:01Middlesbrough's Victor Valdes.

0:03:04 > 0:03:07The Spanish goalie slipped and fell over, allowing Man United's

0:03:07 > 0:03:10Antonio Valencia to score.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13United won 3-1.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15Elsewhere, Man City and Liverpool drew 1-1 and Tottenham

0:03:15 > 0:03:20beat Southampton 2-1.

0:03:20 > 0:03:24It's sold around 80,000 consoles in its first week here in the UK,

0:03:24 > 0:03:32so we asked some pretty Switch-ed on gamers to help us to review

0:03:32 > 0:03:34it - the new Nintendo Switch.

0:03:34 > 0:03:35Hello, my name's Nimra.

0:03:35 > 0:03:36I'm Katrina.

0:03:36 > 0:03:37Harry.

0:03:37 > 0:03:38Hello, my name is Shay.

0:03:38 > 0:03:39Hello, my name is Tom.

0:03:39 > 0:03:45ALL: And we're here to try the Nintendo Switch.

0:03:49 > 0:03:53The Nintendo Switch is a bit different to other consoles that

0:03:53 > 0:03:55are available, because you can use it in lots of different ways.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57Hand-held, like a GameBoy.

0:03:57 > 0:04:01Docked, like a regular console, and with motion controllers,

0:04:01 > 0:04:04like the Nintendo Wii.

0:04:04 > 0:04:08It costs ?279.99, but you might need to fork out a bit more money

0:04:08 > 0:04:11if you want some more accessories.

0:04:11 > 0:04:14It also uses cartridges for games instead of discs.

0:04:14 > 0:04:21But trust me, you do not want to lick them.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23Things I liked about it were mainly the graphics,

0:04:23 > 0:04:26because I think they're sensational.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29I liked how you can just have it in your living room and then,

0:04:29 > 0:04:31say your mum wanted to watch something on the telly,

0:04:31 > 0:04:34you can just pick it up and play your game,

0:04:34 > 0:04:36and you won't have to save anything or stop it.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39I think I prefer it more than the other consoles,

0:04:39 > 0:04:42because the other console you're just like hooked, but on this one

0:04:42 > 0:04:44you can actually be aware of your surroundings.

0:04:44 > 0:04:48I didn't like the size of the controls.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51And they were also really, really fiddly.

0:04:51 > 0:04:55You're going to have to mess about with it to use it.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58I didn't really like the fact that it's quite heavy,

0:04:58 > 0:05:02because you're supposed to carry it around with you.

0:05:02 > 0:05:04It's a bit confusing, but with time you could probably

0:05:04 > 0:05:06get better with it.

0:05:06 > 0:05:11I do prefer it to possibly Xboxes and PS4s, because it allows

0:05:11 > 0:05:15you to do more things with it.

0:05:15 > 0:05:18I like just having one console for everything,

0:05:18 > 0:05:21so this would actually be a good idea, so if Xbox or PlayStation

0:05:21 > 0:05:28could make something like this, it would be actually really good.

0:05:28 > 0:05:32Finally, there are some pretty amazing teachers out there,

0:05:32 > 0:05:35and one has just come away with the prize of being

0:05:35 > 0:05:37the best in the world!

0:05:37 > 0:05:40Maggie MacDonnell, from Quebec in Canada, got the award,

0:05:40 > 0:05:43beating thousands of people.

0:05:43 > 0:05:44She won $1 million.

0:05:44 > 0:05:47And her name was announced by a French astronaut from

0:05:47 > 0:05:50the International Space Station.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53That's it for the morning, we're back this afternoon

0:05:53 > 0:05:58with Leah at 4.20pm.

0:05:58 > 0:05:58See

0:05:58 > 0:05:59See you

0:05:59 > 0:05:59See you soon,

0:05:59 > 0:06:00See you soon, goodbye.
