:02:21. > :02:23.because Hayley's been finding out all about an incredible discovery

:02:24. > :02:32.and the everyday life of people living thousands of years ago.

:02:33. > :02:39.Welcome to the site that has changed what we're about life in the bronze

:02:40. > :02:46.age. Under this tent is a snapshot of the world 3000 years ago. On this

:02:47. > :02:49.farm in Cambridgeshire, archaeologists are now think what is

:02:50. > :02:53.thought to be the best preserved Bronze Age home ever found in

:02:54. > :02:58.Britain. It is that fine grained detail of a world, that we would

:02:59. > :03:02.dealing with crumbs before, now we have the sense that it is almost

:03:03. > :03:06.present. Our job just have been digging you for ten months and have

:03:07. > :03:10.discovered that five wooden houses on stilts stood above a river. But

:03:11. > :03:14.it is thought that they were destroyed by fire, which made their

:03:15. > :03:20.homes fall into the water, preserving them in great detail,

:03:21. > :03:22.allowing experts to uncover huge range of amazing objects, showing

:03:23. > :03:28.what people were eating and even how their clothes were made. You can see

:03:29. > :03:32.how the food was made and it is still remaining inside the pot. From

:03:33. > :03:41.sampling it, we can start to think what was in there, barley and beet

:03:42. > :03:47.and nettles, that kind of thing. This is a bit of bling, and

:03:48. > :03:52.overelaborate sort of brooch, I suppose. The dig is nearly finished

:03:53. > :03:54.but what archaeologists have discovered is only just starting.

:03:55. > :03:57.Britain's lost more than 70% of its cuckoos in the last 25 years

:03:58. > :04:00.but tiny tracking devices fitted to some of the birds may have solved

:04:01. > :04:04.A study following their migration has revealed that cuckoos

:04:05. > :04:06.have two migration routes, with one that appears to be

:04:07. > :04:12.They hope the new information will help their survival.

:04:13. > :04:15.Cycling now and Britain's Mark Cavendish has pulled out
