0:02:25 > 0:02:29It's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32Now, the summer holiday is ending, and some of you are already

0:02:32 > 0:02:34heading back to school.

0:02:34 > 0:02:37For some people, that means starting High School for the first time.

0:02:37 > 0:02:42It can be a little nerve-wracking, but don't worry - these guys sent us

0:02:42 > 0:02:48some top tips to help you out.

0:02:48 > 0:02:50When it is like a Friday, don't act excited because the teachers

0:02:50 > 0:02:52will most likely keep you later so you'll

0:02:52 > 0:03:00miss your bus or you'll have to stay at school later.

0:03:00 > 0:03:04If you are feeling nervous, you should go and talk to someone

0:03:04 > 0:03:06because that's what I did in the first couple of weeks

0:03:06 > 0:03:09and it made me feel a lot more confident about school.

0:03:09 > 0:03:10Don't feel stressed.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13It's a big school, it's going to be bigger than primary school,

0:03:13 > 0:03:18and it takes a while to get used to it.

0:03:18 > 0:03:20But after a while you will get used to it.

0:03:20 > 0:03:24Be loud and confident with your answer, instead

0:03:24 > 0:03:26of just being like, oh, is it this?

0:03:26 > 0:03:28Behave, do your homework, do what the teacher asks.

0:03:28 > 0:03:31Try and make as many new friends who don't go

0:03:31 > 0:03:32to your primary as you can.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35On the first day, don't be by yourself.

0:03:35 > 0:03:37Go and find new people, make new friends.

0:03:37 > 0:03:44First impressions for teachers are really important

0:03:44 > 0:03:46because teachers all base how your behaviour is

0:03:46 > 0:03:50off that first impression.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52And you don't have a first impression twice,

0:03:52 > 0:03:53so you should

0:03:53 > 0:03:57so you should behave really well.

0:03:57 > 0:04:00Whether you love bats or not, most of us probably wouldn't

0:04:00 > 0:04:02want to live with a load of them.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05But some churches are letting these little guys make themselves at home.

0:04:05 > 0:04:06Here's Ayshah.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09It might be a bit cold and draughty, but for bats, it is one

0:04:09 > 0:04:11of their favourite places to make a home.

0:04:11 > 0:04:14And these kids have come to the skirt in Norfolk to find out

0:04:14 > 0:04:16all about the bats that live here.

0:04:16 > 0:04:18I've been around and seen two of these, like, tiny bats.

0:04:18 > 0:04:19That were flappering about.

0:04:19 > 0:04:20And going like...

0:04:20 > 0:04:25I saw two of the small bats.

0:04:25 > 0:04:26I saw a flaper bat.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28I like bats because they can hang upside down.

0:04:28 > 0:04:32I like bats because they fly around.

0:04:32 > 0:04:34But they're not always the easiest animals to live with.

0:04:34 > 0:04:36And the people that own churches are worried

0:04:36 > 0:04:42that the bats are damaging these very old buildings.

0:04:42 > 0:04:44With the bat wee leaving little white spots

0:04:44 > 0:04:45like this on gravestones.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48So they might not be the most welcome guests,

0:04:48 > 0:04:50but it's actually really important to protect these bats.

0:04:50 > 0:04:52Bat populations over a number of years have been declining.

0:04:52 > 0:04:58Hopefully we will stop that.

0:04:58 > 0:04:59Hopefully we have stopped that.

0:04:59 > 0:05:05But churches are one of the most important

0:05:05 > 0:05:07But churches are one of the most important buildings

0:05:07 > 0:05:08in the countryside that bats can use.

0:05:08 > 0:05:11Luckily for the bats, this church is happy to let them

0:05:11 > 0:05:14stay in the church roof now.

0:05:14 > 0:05:17But they are building special bat boxes outside the church for them

0:05:17 > 0:05:19to live in in the future, so they don't make

0:05:19 > 0:05:20any more mess inside.

0:05:20 > 0:05:23And a special project called Bats in Churches is asking other places

0:05:23 > 0:05:25of worship to do the same.

0:05:25 > 0:05:27Now, check this out for a mega water slide.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30Thousands of people in Seoul, South Korea, took to the streets

0:05:30 > 0:05:32to try out this 300 metre long water slide.

0:05:32 > 0:05:34How fun does that look!

0:05:34 > 0:05:38The fun street event is to advertise Winter Olympic Games

0:05:38 > 0:05:41in the country next year.

0:05:41 > 0:05:44And finally we want your questions to put to the people

0:05:44 > 0:05:45who make Minecraft.

0:05:45 > 0:05:46Yes, you heard it right.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49Your chance to ask whatever you want to the people behind one

0:05:49 > 0:05:51of the most popular computer games in the world.

0:05:51 > 0:05:56So head over to the website now.

0:05:56 > 0:05:58Newsround is back right here just after 2pm.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01See you!
