0:01:36 > 0:01:38that's where the Sun is completely blocked by the moon.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41A group of UK scouts is travelling to get the best view

0:01:41 > 0:01:43possible and we've been following their adventures.

0:01:43 > 0:01:44Meet the Salisbury Scouts.

0:01:44 > 0:01:45They are on an epic camping trip.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48They're making a mammoth journey from the UK, all the way

0:02:13 > 0:02:16And on Monday we are going to see the eclipse.

0:02:16 > 0:02:17I'm really excited for it.

0:02:17 > 0:02:18So is everyone else.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21It's coming up really quickly and I'm really excited about it.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24It's not long now!

0:02:24 > 0:02:27Now, the summer holiday is ending, and some of you are already

0:02:27 > 0:02:29heading back to school.

0:02:29 > 0:02:35For some people, that means starting High School for the first time.

0:02:35 > 0:02:38It can be a little nerve-wracking, but don't worry - these guys sent us

0:02:38 > 0:02:47some top tips to help you out.

0:02:47 > 0:02:49When it is like a Friday, don't act excited because the teachers

0:02:49 > 0:02:51will most likely keep you later so you'll

0:02:51 > 0:02:54miss your bus or you'll have to stay at school later.

0:02:54 > 0:02:57If you are feeling nervous, you should go and talk to someone

0:02:57 > 0:03:00because that's what I did in the first couple of weeks

0:03:00 > 0:03:02and it made me feel a lot more confident about school.

0:03:02 > 0:03:03Don't feel stressed.

0:03:03 > 0:03:06It's a big school, it's going to be bigger than primary school,

0:03:06 > 0:03:09and it takes a while to get used to it.

0:03:09 > 0:03:18But after a while you will get used to it.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21Be loud and confident with your answer, instead

0:03:21 > 0:03:23of just being like, "Oh, is it this?"

0:03:23 > 0:03:25Behave, do your homework, do what the teacher asks.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27Try and make as many new friends who don't go

0:03:27 > 0:03:29to your primary as you can.

0:03:29 > 0:03:31On the first day, don't be by yourself.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Go and find new people, make new friends.

0:03:33 > 0:03:35First impressions for teachers are really important

0:03:35 > 0:03:37because teachers all base how your behaviour is

0:03:37 > 0:03:38off that first impression.

0:03:38 > 0:03:40And you don't have a first impression twice,

0:03:40 > 0:03:45so you should behave really well.

0:03:45 > 0:03:48Whether you love bats or not, most of us probably wouldn't

0:03:48 > 0:03:50want to live with a load of them.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53But some churches are letting these little guys make themselves at home.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57Here's Ayshah.

0:03:57 > 0:04:00It might be a bit cold and draughty, but for bats, it is one

0:04:00 > 0:04:02of their favourite places to make a home.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05And these kids have come to the skirt in Norfolk to find out

0:04:05 > 0:04:08all about the bats that live here.

0:04:08 > 0:04:11I've been around and seen two of these, like, tiny bats.

0:04:11 > 0:04:12That were flappering about.

0:04:12 > 0:04:22And going like...

0:04:22 > 0:04:24I saw two of the small bats.

0:04:24 > 0:04:25I saw a flaper bat.

0:04:25 > 0:04:27I like bats because they can hang upside down.

0:04:27 > 0:04:34I like bats because they fly around.

0:04:34 > 0:04:36But they're not always the easiest animals to live with.

0:04:36 > 0:04:38And the people that own churches are worried

0:04:38 > 0:04:40that the bats are damaging these very old buildings.

0:04:40 > 0:04:42With the bat wee leaving little white spots

0:04:42 > 0:04:44like this on gravestones.

0:04:44 > 0:04:46So they might not be the most welcome guests,

0:04:46 > 0:04:49but it's actually really important to protect these bats.

0:04:49 > 0:04:51Bat populations over a number of years have been declining.

0:04:51 > 0:04:55Hopefully we have stopped that.

0:04:55 > 0:04:57But churches are one of the most important buildings

0:04:57 > 0:05:04in the countryside that bats can use.

0:05:04 > 0:05:06Luckily for the bats, this church is happy to let them

0:05:06 > 0:05:08stay in the church roof now.

0:05:08 > 0:05:11But they are building special bat boxes outside the church for them

0:05:11 > 0:05:13to live in in the future, so they don't make

0:05:13 > 0:05:22any more mess inside.

0:05:22 > 0:05:25And a special project called Bats in Churches

0:05:25 > 0:05:27is asking other places of worship to do the same.

0:05:27 > 0:05:29Now, check this out for a mega water slide.

0:05:29 > 0:05:32Thousands of people in Seoul, South Korea, took to the streets

0:05:32 > 0:05:34to try out this 300 metre long water slide.

0:05:34 > 0:05:35How fun does that look!

0:05:35 > 0:05:37The fun street event is to advertise Winter Olympic Games

0:05:37 > 0:05:42in the country next year.

0:05:42 > 0:05:45And finally we want your questions to put to the people

0:05:45 > 0:05:46who make Minecraft.

0:05:46 > 0:05:47Yes, you heard it right.

0:05:47 > 0:05:50Your chance to ask whatever you want to the people behind one

0:05:50 > 0:05:52of the most popular computer games in the world.

0:05:52 > 0:05:54So head over to the website now.

0:05:54 > 0:05:57That's all from me.

0:05:57 > 0:05:59Newsround is back at 07:40am tomorrow with loads of stuff looking

0:05:59 > 0:06:01ahead to the eclipse.
