:00:32. > :00:35.yesterday evening. 76 people were injured when a bit of ceiling fell

:00:36. > :00:46.down at the Apollo Theatre. Here's Nel with more. London's West End.

:00:47. > :00:53.Normally wassing with theatre-goer and tourist, this is the Apollo. It

:00:54. > :00:56.is one of the area's most famous theatres.

:00:57. > :01:00.Gp last night, the venue was packed for a performance of The Curious

:01:01. > :01:02.Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

:01:03. > :01:06.But during the show, part of the ceiling collapsed bringing down the

:01:07. > :01:12.lighting rig and balcony. I looked behind me and I saw the ceiling drop

:01:13. > :01:15.and there was a massive loud crunching sound.

:01:16. > :01:19.There was dust everywhere. I didn't know what to do so I ran down the

:01:20. > :01:25.stairs. 76 people were hurt, paramedics used

:01:26. > :01:28.buses to take some to hospital. The Mayor of London praised the

:01:29. > :01:33.emergency services for their work and said his thousands were with

:01:34. > :01:35.those involved. The author of the play said it was horrifying sitting

:01:36. > :01:49.here what was there are strict rules over safety

:01:50. > :02:03.in theatres. An investigation has started to work out what went wrong

:02:04. > :02:06.in this rare case. Christmas is massive in the

:02:07. > :02:10.Philippines and celebrations can last from September, till January,

:02:11. > :02:16.in one town they have been making decorations from stuff they have

:02:17. > :02:22.found under flattened buildings, tin cans and bottles, they say it shows

:02:23. > :02:25.they are hopeful the country can rebuild itself.

:02:26. > :02:30.Surely Santa is not delivering presents early. It is not the real

:02:31. > :02:35.Father Christmas. This blow up Santa Andrew doll belong to two amateur

:02:36. > :02:40.scientists who attached it to a special balloon and camera and sent

:02:41. > :02:46.them to the edge of space. They want it to raise awareness of science.

:02:47. > :02:52.The Christmas countdown is on. It is a busy day for travellers as

:02:53. > :02:57.millions head off to spend time with family and friends. It wasn't the

:02:58. > :03:18.normal day of lessons and more, you have been telling us on the

:03:19. > :03:23.Tilly, Tabitha and Will had a very Christmassy day with jumpers and

:03:47. > :03:50.Philippines and talking to the children rebuilding their lives

:03:51. > :03:56.after the typhoon. This is what is left of the house they once had. I

:03:57. > :04:01.say what is left, there is nothing there. Remember the horsemeat

:04:02. > :04:05.scandal when traces of horsemeat were found in burger, that made us

:04:06. > :04:14.think about where the food comes from. Who can forget Reuben about

:04:15. > :04:19.kids with Down's syndrome. Do you remember when I did the report about

:04:20. > :04:25.the smelly phones? I tried it, very very interesting! For me it was

:04:26. > :04:29.interviewing the singing spaceman Chris Hadfield.

:04:30. > :04:35.# This is ground control to Major Tom

:04:36. > :04:41.# You really made the grade. # One close encounter, it would have

:04:42. > :04:47.to be the owl. Well, that is it from Newsround. And
