:00:00. > :00:15.Good afternoon, Ayshah here with your Tuesday afternoon Newsround.
:00:16. > :00:18.Keep watching for some of this! A massive upset in the Australian open
:00:19. > :00:23.tennis - defending champion Novak Djokovic is out!
:00:24. > :00:27.Prince Harry talks of the "unbelievable achievement" of his
:00:28. > :00:30.fellow Antarctic adventurers. And more snowy stuff - yes, these
:00:31. > :00:35.are some skiing cowboys, only on Newsround!
:00:36. > :00:39.First today, to some big trouble in Premier League football. West Brom
:00:40. > :00:44.striker Nicolas Anelka is facing a minimum five-match ban after being
:00:45. > :00:47.charged by the FA today. He's in trouble with them over a gesture he
:00:48. > :00:52.made on the pitch last month after scoring against West Ham. It's even
:00:53. > :00:55.led to West Brom's sponsor, Zoopla, to say they're going to stop working
:00:56. > :01:00.with the club. Ricky's got the story. The gesture Anelka used is
:01:01. > :01:05.considered highly offensive by some Jewish people. As a result we've
:01:06. > :01:09.decided not to show it. Anelka has said it's not meant to be racist,
:01:10. > :01:13.but today the FA decided to charge Anelka for making the sign. Last
:01:14. > :01:17.night the company Zoopla announced it was pulling out as a sponsor of
:01:18. > :01:22.West Brom at the end of the season, because of what Anelka did. Clubs
:01:23. > :01:26.rely on sponsors for money to fund the club - they pay millions of
:01:27. > :01:30.pounds to have their names splashed on the team's shirts. Anelka played
:01:31. > :01:34.against Everton last night and his new head coach seemed to be behind
:01:35. > :01:44.him. For me, Anelka is a very good professional. Very good person and
:01:45. > :01:49.for me I need Nicolas in the team. We have never seen this before in
:01:50. > :01:52.the Premier League, a sponsor of this high-profile football club has
:01:53. > :01:58.never done this sort of thing so West Brom are in a position where
:01:59. > :02:05.they need to find a new sponsor. Does this send out a message that if
:02:06. > :02:09.they perform these gestures they will get into trouble? This example
:02:10. > :02:16.shows that if you step out of line you could land in big trouble.
:02:17. > :02:23.Anelka has promised he won't do the gesture again. He now has until 6pm
:02:24. > :02:27.on Thursday to respond to the FA's charge. But for the first time a
:02:28. > :02:28.club's sponsor has pulled out over a player's behaviour on the football
:02:29. > :02:31.pitch. Next to the Philippines, where a
:02:32. > :02:34.tropical storm is causing serious flooding and mudslides, just two
:02:35. > :02:37.months after Typhoon Haiyan hit the country. The southern islands have
:02:38. > :02:40.been worst affected with some villages completely flooded.
:02:41. > :02:42.Thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes to higher
:02:43. > :02:46.ground, sheltering in schools and public buildings. The United Nations
:02:47. > :02:49.says that for those who lost their homes in Typhoon Haiyan, many of the
:02:50. > :02:51.temporary shelters aren't strong enough to cope with the extreme
:02:52. > :02:55.weather. Prince Harry has been speaking about
:02:56. > :03:03.how inspiring it was to take part in an epic trek to the South Pole. The
:03:04. > :03:06.prince walked 200 miles across Antarctica with teams of injured
:03:07. > :03:10.soldiers. At one point it looked like the journey would have to be
:03:11. > :03:17.suspended because of bad conditions, but they made it in the end. Watch
:03:18. > :03:22.out for flashes coming up. I hope this truly unbelievable achievement
:03:23. > :03:28.by everyone behind me and back in America, Canada and Australia, what
:03:29. > :03:34.they have will remind everybody that it is simply... That they can
:03:35. > :03:37.achieve anything they want to. Next - he's stopped Andy Murray
:03:38. > :03:40.winning the Australian Open twice, winning it himself for the past
:03:41. > :03:43.three years, but Novak Djokovic's reign in Melbourne is over after he
:03:44. > :03:46.was beaten by Stanislas Wawrinka in an epic quarterfinal. The Swiss
:03:47. > :03:50.world number eight took the defending champion to five sets and
:03:51. > :03:54.held his nerve to beat him 9-7 in the final set and book a place in
:03:55. > :03:57.the semi-finals. It's the first time in 15 attempts that Wawrinka has
:03:58. > :04:08.beaten Djokovic and ends the Serb's winning streak of 28 matches. I was
:04:09. > :04:17.playing really good, tried to fight. I was not feeling great in
:04:18. > :04:25.the beginning but he is an amazing champion, I never gave up, and I am
:04:26. > :04:28.really, really, really happy! Andy Murray is set to play big rival
:04:29. > :04:32.Roger Federer in the quarterfinal tomorrow morning. Federer is looking
:04:33. > :04:35.to claim his 18th grand slam title, while the Scot's looking for his
:04:36. > :04:39.third. Join us in the morning when we will have a full preview of the
:04:40. > :04:42.match. Head over to the website for plenty more good stuff from us,
:04:43. > :04:48.including the dancing cabin crew in a Chinese airport. Find out how
:04:49. > :04:53.Union J feel about being turned into dolls. Cowboys and ski slopes don't
:04:54. > :04:57.tend to go together, right? Well they do in Colorado in America. Over
:04:58. > :05:03.100 professional rodeo cowboys took to the slopes for the fun of it.
:05:04. > :05:04.They had to race down the gates and survived a few jumps too. I will see
