:00:00. > :00:07.If Good afternoon, hope you're enjoing your bank holiday. Ricky
:00:08. > :00:13.here with your latest Newsround. Coming up. A huge fire lights up the
:00:14. > :00:23.skies of Leeds. Drumming up some music in Egypt. Only on Newsround.
:00:24. > :00:26.First to America, where thousands of runners are taking part in the
:00:27. > :00:30.Boston Marathon a year after two bombs exploded near the finish line.
:00:31. > :00:42.The events shocked the world, but one year on more people than ever
:00:43. > :00:46.are determined to get involved. The 118th Boston marathon is well under
:00:47. > :00:49.way. It might look like any other big event, but security is much
:00:50. > :00:53.tighter than usual here. Last year, three people died and over 260 were
:00:54. > :00:59.injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line. There was a big
:01:00. > :01:02.search for the two men thought to be responsible. One suspect was killed
:01:03. > :01:05.and the other is still awaiting trial. But this hasn't stopped
:01:06. > :01:09.people from wanting to take part. 36,000 runners have signed up -
:01:10. > :01:12.9,000 more than usual - giving those who couldn't complete the course
:01:13. > :01:15.last year the chance to finish it. The BBC's Laura Trevelyan sent us
:01:16. > :01:22.this from the finish line, just before the race got under way.
:01:23. > :01:26.Behind me though is all spread out the messages of support from across
:01:27. > :01:32.America as a nation remembers what happened here last year. Security is
:01:33. > :01:36.very tight with 3500 police officers deployed, and this is a chance for
:01:37. > :01:40.the city to remember, but also to recover and to show its resilience
:01:41. > :01:44.to the world. Half a million supporters have turned up to cheer
:01:45. > :01:48.on family and friends and like the runners, they're more determined
:01:49. > :01:51.than ever to be there. Just to show terrorists that they cannot win. I
:01:52. > :01:55.saw picture that said we need to take the finish line back, and that
:01:56. > :02:01.is what 36,000 people are going to do. I think it is great, I think it
:02:02. > :02:04.is the safest place on the planet. For these runners, crossing the
:02:05. > :02:09.finish line won't just be a personal victory, but one for the whole city.
:02:10. > :02:12.And if you're upset by anything you see on the news there's help and
:02:13. > :02:19.advice over on the Newsround website. Next, Manchester United are
:02:20. > :02:23.not commenting on reports that David Moyes is said to be sacked as
:02:24. > :02:28.manager. Various newspapers claimed that the club will say goodbye to
:02:29. > :02:34.the Scott as early as next week. But the club declined to comment when
:02:35. > :02:37.comment -- contacted by the BBC. A huge fire on an industrial estate in
:02:38. > :02:40.Leeds, which started just before two this morning, has been brought under
:02:41. > :02:44.control. Nearby roads were closed as 80 firefighters tackled the blaze.
:02:45. > :02:46.People in the city centre were told to keep their windows and doors
:02:47. > :02:50.closed because of potential chemicals that were kept on the
:02:51. > :02:53.site. Next, you might think street dance and ballet are very different
:02:54. > :02:56.but they actually have a lot in common. Former Britain's Got Talent
:02:57. > :02:59.winners Diversity are backing efforts to get more boys into ballet
:03:00. > :03:09.and as Jenny's been finding out there's a very good reason why. You
:03:10. > :03:16.will probably recognise these guys from Britain's Got Talent. They are
:03:17. > :03:18.known for crazy steps and spins and energetic routines but you are
:03:19. > :03:34.properly wondering what they have got in common with Ballet dance. It
:03:35. > :03:37.is imperative that we have all of those skills. Being a ballet dancer
:03:38. > :03:46.has loads of positives that we can apply. Flexibility, mobility,
:03:47. > :03:53.discipline. It is one of the most amazing things you can do. This
:03:54. > :03:58.dance group in Manchester have made Ballet danced compulsory in all of
:03:59. > :04:02.their classes. It is very good, it helps me with my running dance that
:04:03. > :04:10.I do. Especially on the street, because you get stronger. When you
:04:11. > :04:16.are doing popping and walking. I thought, you will never catch me in
:04:17. > :04:20.a leotard and a tutu and that, but since I have been doing it it has
:04:21. > :04:28.made me feel stronger and made me lies how important it is to do
:04:29. > :04:31.ballet. But convincing more boys that Ballet dance is for them might
:04:32. > :04:39.take a little while. These are the minority. 11,000 digital GCSE
:04:40. > :04:45.dance, only 700 of those were boys. But, with classes like this, or
:04:46. > :04:51.that, -- all that could be about to change. Finally, turn up the volume
:04:52. > :04:54.and check out these musicians taking part in the International Drum
:04:55. > :04:58.Festival in Cairo, Egypt. Dancers and bands from 21 countries are
:04:59. > :05:00.joining in the event which goes on until Friday. That's your lot, I'll
:05:01. > :05:01.be back at
