0:01:34 > 0:01:37and I am going to be really excited if they win.

0:01:48 > 0:01:50Come on, Crystal Palace, let's go!

0:01:50 > 0:01:55All: Go, Palace!

0:01:55 > 0:02:00Sticking with sport, this time with a bit of difference,

0:02:00 > 0:02:03the Great City Games took place in Manchester last night.

0:02:03 > 0:02:05Special tracks were built right in the middle of the city,

0:02:05 > 0:02:08which meant people got the chance to see top athletes

0:02:08 > 0:02:09from across the world, up close.

0:02:09 > 0:02:11Athlete Greg Rutherford said taking part in the event

0:02:11 > 0:02:15was really special.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18There is this interaction that we as athletes get with people

0:02:18 > 0:02:19here, that you don't get in a stadium.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21I think that is hugely important.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24There could just be one youngster who comes down and sees it

0:02:24 > 0:02:27and they think it is great because they get up close,

0:02:27 > 0:02:29or it could be an elderly person who feels motivated

0:02:29 > 0:02:31to do some work again.

0:02:31 > 0:02:33To one of the world's most famous actresses.

0:02:33 > 0:02:35Angelina Jolie-Pitt is well known for starring in movies

0:02:35 > 0:02:39like Maleficent, but she also works for the United Nations.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42She's campaigning about the growing refugee and migrant crisis caused

0:02:42 > 0:02:45by war in places like Syria.

0:02:45 > 0:02:48Ricky went with some Newsround viewers, who got the chance to ask

0:02:48 > 0:02:56Angelina about her work for the UN.

0:02:56 > 0:02:59As we all know, you have visited many refugee camps over the years.

0:02:59 > 0:03:02Can you tell us what life is like in these camps?

0:03:02 > 0:03:05The thing I think that would shock you the most is now the average stay

0:03:05 > 0:03:07in a refugee camp is about 20 years.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10That means if you were born in a refugee camp, your whole

0:03:10 > 0:03:11childhood is in a camp.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14It is in borrowed land, and you get your food once a month,

0:03:14 > 0:03:17and you only get what they give you.

0:03:17 > 0:03:23You don't get special spices and things which make it personal

0:03:23 > 0:03:26like when your mum cooks at home and things like that.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28Sometimes you have school, a lot of times there

0:03:28 > 0:03:29are not funds for school, especially secondary,

0:03:29 > 0:03:31so your education is limited.

0:03:31 > 0:03:37Faisal, what is your question?

0:03:37 > 0:03:40You are less selfish than other celebrities.

0:03:40 > 0:03:45What makes you focus more time on refugees than yourself?

0:03:45 > 0:03:49From when I wake up in the morning, the first thing I am is a mum.

0:03:49 > 0:03:52And that is the greatest thing for me in the world.

0:03:52 > 0:03:55And then I am a person who lives in this world and wants

0:03:55 > 0:03:59to do some good, I hope, before it is all over,

0:03:59 > 0:04:02so that is why!

0:04:02 > 0:04:06Next up, to the depths of the ocean and the robot with a very

0:04:06 > 0:04:07cool underwater mission.

0:04:07 > 0:04:12His name is Thomas and this is what he's been up to...

0:04:12 > 0:04:14Sailing this seas.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17Scanning underwater and recording data.

0:04:17 > 0:04:21Thomas the robot has a lot to do.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24He is on a two-week mission to capture images of ocean life,

0:04:24 > 0:04:27up to 30 metres below the sea.

0:04:27 > 0:04:30Setting off from the coast of Cornwall,

0:04:30 > 0:04:33he will travel for two weeks around the area.

0:04:33 > 0:04:36This is a really important area for marine wildlife,

0:04:36 > 0:04:41because previous missions have shown it is a hotspot for marine wildlife,

0:04:41 > 0:04:43so things like whales, dolphins, porpoises

0:04:43 > 0:04:45and sea birds etc.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48Thomas is part powered by wind and solar power and topped up

0:04:48 > 0:04:50by a diesel generator.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53He has cameras and sensors all over his body.

0:04:53 > 0:04:57Researchers hope Thomas the robot will give them information

0:04:57 > 0:05:03about creatures living in the deep ocean so they can protect them.

0:05:03 > 0:05:06Now to the fight that's promoting peace.

0:05:06 > 0:05:08Sounds odd doesn't it but these guys in Colombia,

0:05:08 > 0:05:11South America had a huge pillow fight to ask for an end

0:05:11 > 0:05:14to the conflict in the country.

0:05:14 > 0:05:17Colombia has been at war for almost 50 years but the government

0:05:17 > 0:05:22is now talking with rebel groups to try and bring peace.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24And finally, if you're impatiently waiting for the next

0:05:24 > 0:05:26Star Wars instalment, and need something to fill

0:05:26 > 0:05:36the gap, look no further.

0:05:37 > 0:05:37I

0:05:37 > 0:05:37I am

0:05:37 > 0:05:37I am such

0:05:37 > 0:05:37I am such a

0:05:37 > 0:05:37I am such a happy

0:05:37 > 0:05:39I am such a happy Chewbacca!

0:05:39 > 0:05:43This clip of a mum in Texas in the US, trying on a Chewbacca

0:05:43 > 0:05:44mask, has gone viral.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46Over 90 million people have watched Chewwie Candace Payne getting

0:05:46 > 0:05:47a fit of the giggles.

0:05:47 > 0:05:50For more stories, go online to find out about the tiny

0:05:50 > 0:05:55robots inspired by bees, the dog collecting for charity
