:00:50. > :00:52.a week-long campaign at the start of the summer holidays to get
:00:53. > :00:56.you guys, and grown-ups, out and about around the UK,
:00:57. > :00:59.and we've sent Martin to Cardigan Bay in Wales to join
:01:00. > :01:03.in with some young dolphin spotters.
:01:04. > :01:09.A coast dotted by fishing villages, seaside resorts and beautiful
:01:10. > :01:14.But perhaps it's best known as the home of the UK's largest
:01:15. > :01:21.Over the past 40 years, whales, dolphins and harbour porpoises have
:01:22. > :01:27.been monitored by scientists and volunteers all around the coast.
:01:28. > :01:30.And today I've joined these guys to take part in one of the annual
:01:31. > :01:32.organised watches here on the Welsh coast.
:01:33. > :01:36.Seawatch's conservation work hopes to improve the protection of whales
:01:37. > :01:40.and dolphins around Britain and Ireland by keeping track of,
:01:41. > :01:47.and identifying the individual animals here.
:01:48. > :01:52.Despite whoever's at sea, not one dolphin appeared.
:01:53. > :01:55.But that didn't stop these guys, who are back on land to try things
:01:56. > :02:01.I've looked out about five times, and every time I'm convinced that
:02:02. > :02:07.So, despite the disappointment so far, how were they feeling?
:02:08. > :02:10.I quite like doing this sort of thing, but I haven't really
:02:11. > :02:15.I felt quite disappointed that we didn't see a dolphin,
:02:16. > :02:17.but I'm hoping that we'll see one later today.
:02:18. > :02:20.I was really, really hoping to see one out in the wild,
:02:21. > :02:26.29 species of whale, dolphin and porpoise have been
:02:27. > :02:33.13 species have been identified during whale and dolphin
:02:34. > :02:41.Basically, we want to know what's out there.
:02:42. > :02:46.We need as many eyes as possible on the sea over the National Whale
:02:47. > :02:48.and Dolphin Watch, so we'd like to encourage as many people
:02:49. > :02:52.If anyone can go out there with their families over that
:02:53. > :02:57.nine-day period that starts on Saturday, the more the better.
:02:58. > :02:59.The more data we get on dolphins and the more information
:03:00. > :03:05.We've now been looking for dolphins for six hours.
:03:06. > :03:20.This morning we didn't get any luck, and I was quite disappointed
:03:21. > :03:24.and I really wanted to see a dolphin in the end of the day.
:03:25. > :03:27.And it shows that if you have patience and you wait and you look,
:03:28. > :03:37.Now to one of the biggest and possibly friendliest
:03:38. > :03:43.Roald Dahl's classic book the BFG has been turned into a film.
:03:44. > :03:51.One of the stars of the movie is Ruby Barnhill, who plays
:03:52. > :03:53.Well, Ruby is here in the studio for us
:03:54. > :03:58.Well, loads of our viewers are big Roald Dahl fans and they've sent
:03:59. > :04:01.Hope from Aberfeldy in Scotland asks,
:04:02. > :04:11."What was it like filming and how did you feel?
:04:12. > :04:20.I was really nervous because I was really unsure about everything but
:04:21. > :04:23.Stephen and the director, Mark who plays the BFG and everyone on made
:04:24. > :04:25.me feel comfortable. That helped a lot.
:04:26. > :04:27.Farah in Surrey asks, "How did it feel to pretend
:04:28. > :04:33.there was an actual giant there when filming?"
:04:34. > :04:43.Mark was there all the time on a lift so they would be somebody to
:04:44. > :04:48.look at, the body movements of the BFG and the physical movements stop
:04:49. > :04:51.but I think most actors and actresses would say it was a bit
:04:52. > :04:58.unusual, but because it was my first film it was quite interesting so I
:04:59. > :05:02.really it. So, it was lovely to play up against something? It would get
:05:03. > :05:04.quite hard sometimes but it was really fun.
:05:05. > :05:08.Isabel in Devon says, "What is your favourite Roald Dahl book?"
:05:09. > :05:20.The first Roald Dahl book I read was fantastic Mr Fox and I still really
