0:00:03 > 0:00:05Hi, I'm Martin, this is Newsround,
0:00:05 > 0:00:08and here's what's coming up on the show.
0:00:08 > 0:00:12Paralympic legend Ellie Simmonds answers your questions.
0:00:12 > 0:00:22And the penguin who got lost in Peru?
0:00:26 > 0:00:28First up, you've told us that bullying on social media
0:00:28 > 0:00:31is a problem that many of you face.
0:00:31 > 0:00:34Now Instagram is releasing a new feature getting rid of any
0:00:34 > 0:00:36comments you may find upsetting.
0:00:36 > 0:00:38But will it work?
0:00:38 > 0:00:40Here's Naz.
0:00:40 > 0:00:43Social media is used by millions worldwide.
0:00:43 > 0:00:46But bullying is a big problem.
0:00:46 > 0:00:50Social media companies have been accused of not doing enough.
0:00:50 > 0:00:54And kids being bullied know that certain features made to help
0:00:54 > 0:00:58just don't work.
0:00:58 > 0:01:02Now Instagram has rolled out a new feature where you can list
0:01:02 > 0:01:06all the words and emojis that upset you.
0:01:06 > 0:01:12And this is one example of how it works.
0:01:12 > 0:01:14I really don't like the word horrible, and the angry emoji
0:01:14 > 0:01:18really does make me angry, so I can put those words and that
0:01:18 > 0:01:23emoji on a list of words that I don't like, so if anybody comments
0:01:23 > 0:01:26on my pics with "horrible" or the angry emoji, they will be
0:01:26 > 0:01:30removed automatically and I won't see them.
0:01:30 > 0:01:32Instagram says they did this to make sure
0:01:32 > 0:01:34"everyone feels safe to be themselves
0:01:34 > 0:01:37without criticism or harassment".
0:01:37 > 0:01:39But what do these year nines think?
0:01:39 > 0:01:41Will it work?
0:01:41 > 0:01:44Some people can find their way around the censoring,
0:01:44 > 0:01:46and they will use other words.
0:01:46 > 0:01:48There's ways around it, they will use physical bullying
0:01:48 > 0:01:51and then there's phone calls and other social medias.
0:01:51 > 0:01:54Getting the words right and what makes you feel safe
0:01:54 > 0:01:57will take a lot of time.
0:01:57 > 0:02:00It will probably work for the first week and then get forgotten.
0:02:00 > 0:02:02It will give people a sense of security, thinking
0:02:02 > 0:02:05that they can't have people saying rude comments about them.
0:02:05 > 0:02:07I think that the new feature wouldn't work because
0:02:07 > 0:02:09they'd find a way around it and use different emojis.
0:02:09 > 0:02:13This is just one idea, but the reality -
0:02:13 > 0:02:19it won't solve bullying overnight.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22If you're worried about any kind of bullying, then head over
0:02:22 > 0:02:25to the Newsround website, where you can find loads of advice.
0:02:25 > 0:02:28Next - she's a five-time Paralympic gold medallist who hates
0:02:28 > 0:02:29getting her hair wet!
0:02:29 > 0:02:34Who are we talking about?
0:02:34 > 0:02:36Swimmer Ellie Simmonds, of course!
0:02:36 > 0:02:37Fresh from Rio, she's been answering you questions.
0:02:37 > 0:02:38Here's Naz.
0:02:38 > 0:02:39She's done it again!
0:02:39 > 0:02:41And she's done it in a world record.
0:02:41 > 0:02:44She is the golden girl of the pool, for sure.
0:02:44 > 0:02:47Hello, Ellie, thank you so much for joining us here at Newsround.
0:02:47 > 0:02:49Firstly, congratulations.
0:02:49 > 0:02:51Thank you very much.
0:02:51 > 0:02:52What is it like being back?
0:02:52 > 0:02:54It's lovely to be back home.
0:02:54 > 0:02:57I really had a great Games, and to celebrate it with everyone,
0:02:57 > 0:03:00the great Paralympics that Paralympic GB had.
0:03:00 > 0:03:03Our viewers love you and they've been sending us
0:03:03 > 0:03:04loads of questions in.
0:03:04 > 0:03:07Phoebe, who's ten and from Newbury, asks...
0:03:11 > 0:03:14Oh, that's quite a tricky question because sometimes, for me,
0:03:14 > 0:03:17being a distance swimmer, at the end of a race,
0:03:17 > 0:03:19you're quite tired.
0:03:19 > 0:03:23But all I think about is going as fast as I can to touch the pad
0:03:23 > 0:03:28at the end of the pool and to hopefully touch first.
0:03:28 > 0:03:32Finn, who's ten, says "Wow, you are really good at what you do".
0:03:33 > 0:03:35Thank you.
0:03:35 > 0:03:39My parents took me to learn to swim at the age of five.
0:03:39 > 0:03:42Then I decided, watching the Athens 2004 Paralympics,
0:03:42 > 0:03:45I wanted to set my dream of going to the Paralympics
0:03:45 > 0:03:48and getting a gold medal.
0:03:48 > 0:03:50So I went to a disability competition
0:03:50 > 0:03:52and it all went from there.
0:03:52 > 0:03:54Josh, who's 11 and from Suffolk, wants to know...
0:03:58 > 0:04:01It's really tough being a Paralympian.
0:04:01 > 0:04:03I've got to give a lot of dedication and sacrifice
0:04:03 > 0:04:04and give it everything I've got.
0:04:04 > 0:04:07I train nine times a week, plus gym sessions,
0:04:07 > 0:04:10so it's a lot of hours in the pool.
0:04:10 > 0:04:13What did you miss most about home?
0:04:13 > 0:04:15I really missed my cat, Dipstick.
0:04:15 > 0:04:17I'm looking forward to giving her a hug.
0:04:17 > 0:04:20But I'm really looking forward to a nice Sunday roast
0:04:20 > 0:04:22and my dad's cooking.
0:04:22 > 0:04:23She's done it again!
0:04:23 > 0:04:28It is gold for Eleanor Simmonds.
0:04:28 > 0:04:34Next, this penguin has been causing a flap in Peru.
0:04:34 > 0:04:37It took a waddle through the town of Chimbote and found
0:04:37 > 0:04:39its way into a house.
0:04:39 > 0:04:42The family heard crashing in their kitchen, and thought
0:04:42 > 0:04:43they were being robbed!
0:04:43 > 0:04:47They went to tackle the thief, but found the penguin instead!
0:04:47 > 0:04:49Maybe he was just peckish?
0:04:49 > 0:04:50That's all from me.
0:04:50 > 0:04:53Newsround's back tomorrow with Naz.
0:04:53 > 0:04:56Bye.
