:00:00. > :00:00.gap on Bournemouth. On Sunday, Arsenal welcome Chelsea. Tune in

:00:00. > :00:00.tomorrow. Leah here with Friday's Newsround

:00:00. > :00:09.keep watching because we've got the latest on the mega storm

:00:10. > :00:11.stopping traffic in the US. And, it couldn't get

:00:12. > :00:13.any cuter could it? First this morning, were children

:00:14. > :00:27.forced to work to make the parts for your smart phone,

:00:28. > :00:30.tablets or other devices? It's happening in parts of Africa

:00:31. > :00:34.right now and campaigners say that big tech companies aren't

:00:35. > :00:50.doing enough to stop it. To make smartphone batteries you

:00:51. > :00:54.need cobalt. A few places you can find it is deep underground in

:00:55. > :00:59.Central Africa. Many children there are forced to work in mines to make

:01:00. > :01:02.money for their families because the country is very poor. There are not

:01:03. > :01:07.enough checks by the government to stop this happening. Mining can be

:01:08. > :01:11.extremely dangerous and children often work long hours in cramped

:01:12. > :01:18.conditions without proper protective gear. In many cases, they literally

:01:19. > :01:23.dig out tunnels and minds by hand deep underground. One miner told us

:01:24. > :01:31.that the mine he duck was 50 metres deep and that it took him 15 minutes

:01:32. > :01:34.to get from the bottom to the top. A campaign group has been

:01:35. > :01:38.investigating and says phone companies aren't doing enough to

:01:39. > :01:44.make sure the cobalt in their phones hasn't come from children working in

:01:45. > :01:52.mines. They say it includes very big smartphone companies. The companys

:01:53. > :01:56.says they have a zero tolerance policy but now they are being asked

:01:57. > :01:59.to check whether parts for their batteries come from.

:02:00. > :02:02.In the north east of America people have been told to prepare

:02:03. > :02:05.Some 50 million people could be affected by the "monster storm,"

:02:06. > :02:08.which is expected to cause terrible blizzards and white-out conditions

:02:09. > :02:10.in some states and bring traffic to a standstill.

:02:11. > :02:18.As much as two feet of snow is expected in some areas.

:02:19. > :02:27.We will cook and played board games all weekend. It should be fun. I am

:02:28. > :02:32.providing -- buying provisions. We will hunker down. I have been living

:02:33. > :02:36.here for 40 years and nothing is different. Sometimes the storm

:02:37. > :02:38.doesn't come, but in case it does we are preparing.

:02:39. > :02:40.From snow to rain - if you don't like it

:02:41. > :02:43.when the weather's wet imagine how you'd feel if it rained every single

:02:44. > :02:47.Well, that's what happened in this village in Pembrokeshire in Wales.

:02:48. > :02:50.It was wet for 85 days in a row very nearly matching the record

:02:51. > :02:55.Luckily, this week the bad weather broke and they finally had

:02:56. > :02:58.So we asked some children living there what they thought

:02:59. > :03:11.We feel happy because we can go out to now and have exercise but we feel

:03:12. > :03:18.disappointed because we wanted to break the record of 89 days. Yeah,

:03:19. > :03:25.it would have been nice to break the record and have this little town

:03:26. > :03:32.popular. I was looking forward to us being in beginners book of records.

:03:33. > :03:37.I really thought we would beat the record but unfortunately we did not.

:03:38. > :03:39.We can go outside again and play, but it's just started again so it's

:03:40. > :03:41.quite irritating. To football now and are

:03:42. > :03:43.Manchester United be There have been reports from France

:03:44. > :03:47.that a meeting took place in Paris last week between the club

:03:48. > :03:50.and Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola about the possibility

:03:51. > :03:53.of him replacing the current boss But Manchester United say

:03:54. > :04:00.that the story isn't true. Comedian Jo Brand starts her sport

:04:01. > :04:03.relief challenge today - She'll walk the equivalent

:04:04. > :04:13.of a marathon a day over 6 days. Jo is doing the walk to raise

:04:14. > :04:16.awareness about the work sport relief does for mental health

:04:17. > :04:18.and issues that affect women Three baby otters are being cared

:04:19. > :04:25.for at a wildlife hospital in Florida in America

:04:26. > :04:28.after being found at a building site when builders were digging

:04:29. > :04:31.up a driveway. The five-week-old pups are doing

:04:32. > :04:33.well but still need six feeds The tiny patients aren't expected

:04:34. > :04:38.to be able to survive But they're being closely

:04:39. > :04:50.looked after now. I'll be back at 8.15

:04:51. > :04:54.with lots more for you. Do head over to the Newsround web

:04:55. > :04:58.site to take our brand new quiz
