:00:11. > :00:12.Hello, this is Wednesday's Newsround.
:00:13. > :00:15.Today is the last day for adults to decide if they think
:00:16. > :00:19.the UK should stay or leave a group of 28 countries
:00:20. > :00:25.Tomorrow's vote could mean big changes for people living in the UK.
:00:26. > :00:28.Ricky and Naz have been on a roadtrip to find out
:00:29. > :00:35.what kids think of some of the important issues.
:00:36. > :00:40.We are heading to Warsaw, which is the capital of Poland.
:00:41. > :00:44.Just like the UK, Poland is a member of the European Union
:00:45. > :00:46.and, over the last 12 years since they joined
:00:47. > :00:47.that group of countries, hundreds of thousands
:00:48. > :00:52.of people have left Poland and moved to the UK.
:00:53. > :00:56.The life in England is more comfortable.
:00:57. > :00:59.I actually want to stay and study in Poland.
:01:00. > :01:05.If the UK would leave the EU, it would affect us a lot.
:01:06. > :01:08.This part of Southampton has seen a lot of changes over
:01:09. > :01:11.the last ten years or so, and it's not uncommon to hear
:01:12. > :01:15.someone speaking a different language walking down the street.
:01:16. > :01:18.I think immigration is good, as long as it's controlled.
:01:19. > :01:21.A lot of immigrants come to get a better quality of life,
:01:22. > :01:24.but that might have a negative impact on, like,
:01:25. > :01:34.For many of us, Spain is a place we like to come to on our holidays,
:01:35. > :01:37.but thousands of people from the UK have moved to live here
:01:38. > :01:42.The community with Europe and the UK is very unique, and I think
:01:43. > :01:51.I am not really too fussed about it, because it doesn't really
:01:52. > :01:59.It's the only part of the UK which shares a land border
:02:00. > :02:02.with another European country, but I've been speaking to kids
:02:03. > :02:05.who live really close to the border and asking them how they think that
:02:06. > :02:12.If they vote out and they start putting checkpoints in the south,
:02:13. > :02:17.it might be a lot of hassle, like queues and people trying
:02:18. > :02:20.It might affect me. It might not.
:02:21. > :02:26.I am curious to see, if we left, what would happen.
:02:27. > :02:28.Kids aren't allowed to vote in the referendum,
:02:29. > :02:31.but it's still an important topic, with people holding
:02:32. > :02:35.Ricky is at a school in Warwickshire where kids are holding
:02:36. > :02:54.Hi, I'm Louis, and we are on Vote Remain.
:02:55. > :03:01.so red is Leave and blue is, obviously, Stay.
:03:02. > :03:03.And there are banners, balloons, people wearing
:03:04. > :03:07.different coloured T-shirts, and it is a good atmosphere.
:03:08. > :03:10.It is so important to get involved and, even if you can't vote,
:03:11. > :03:15.It is very, kind of, busy, and everyone wants to know more
:03:16. > :03:21.So, just like the millions of adults who will be voting tomorrow,
:03:22. > :03:24.the children at this school will also be taking part in their
:03:25. > :03:29.This is their ballot paper, and they will be voting
:03:30. > :03:32.whether or not they think the UK should remain in or leave
:03:33. > :03:36.They will be popping them into the box just like that,
:03:37. > :03:57.Well come to this school here in Warwickshire. Good morning. We are
:03:58. > :04:02.feeling good and have a special debate shortly. These guys have been
:04:03. > :04:04.debating all week, like you saw in the report. They are trying to
:04:05. > :04:09.persuade fellow classmates where they should vote and if they should
:04:10. > :04:16.remain in or leave. We will start our debate. Three topics, which are
:04:17. > :04:20.immigration, trade and travel. Poppy, you are on Vote Leave, why do
:04:21. > :04:23.you think your classmates should vote leave?
:04:24. > :04:27.It is cheaper for people from Europe to come in, so we have two free up
:04:28. > :04:33.more jobs and houses, and that costs money.
:04:34. > :04:36.Joe, what do you think? You are on the remain in the team.
:04:37. > :04:40.When people come in, they pay taxes, which helps to build schools and
:04:41. > :04:47.hospitals. Let us move on to trade. Louis, you
:04:48. > :04:50.are on Remain. Why should the UK state part of the EU when it comes
:04:51. > :04:55.to trade? Around 3 million jobs are linked to
:04:56. > :04:58.trade with the UK and they could be put at risk unless we stay with the
:04:59. > :05:01.EU. Very persuasive this morning. You do
:05:02. > :05:06.not agree? If we leave, we will be able to
:05:07. > :05:12.negotiate our own trade deals and get the goods we want and need.
:05:13. > :05:18.Travel now, so, Megan, you think the UK should remain in the EU, why?
:05:19. > :05:22.Thanks to the EU, our lights and mobile phone services are much
:05:23. > :05:25.cheaper to use. Have you been persuasive?
:05:26. > :05:30.Yes. You don't agree?
:05:31. > :05:33.I agree but I also think we should leave because we can control the
:05:34. > :05:38.borders. They will hold their own version of
:05:39. > :05:40.the pretend referendum tomorrow, but back to you in the studio.
:05:41. > :05:44.Northern Ireland went through to the knockout stages last night.
:05:45. > :05:50.Last night, Northern Ireland made it through to the knock-out stages
:05:51. > :05:53.of a major tournament for just the third time in their history.

:05:56. > :06:00.but it did not happen when you would expect.
:06:01. > :06:03.Northern Ireland went into their final big game
:06:04. > :06:06.against the world champions knowing it was going to be tough.
:06:07. > :06:09.Germany dominated early on and took the lead thanks to this
:06:10. > :06:17.It could have been more, had it not been for the heroics
:06:18. > :06:19.of Northern Ireland's goalkeeper Michael McGovern.
:06:20. > :06:22.It was a tense match but they held on to keep the score 1-0
:06:23. > :06:25.Despite losing and finishing third in the group,
:06:26. > :06:27.there was still a chance Northern Ireland could qualify.
:06:28. > :06:32.Three hours later, a 2-0 victory for Turkey against Czech Republic
:06:33. > :06:36.meant they made it through as one of the best third-placed teams
