0:00:32 > 0:00:34But first - a year ago we told you about the difficult
0:00:34 > 0:00:37journey Nujeen was making, fleeing war in her home country
0:00:37 > 0:00:39of Syria, and travelling to Germany to find safety.
0:00:39 > 0:00:42It was a journey made extra tricky because she uses a wheelchair.
0:00:42 > 0:00:45Now, a year on, Nujeen's been talking about her new life
0:00:45 > 0:00:46in Germany and her hopes for Syria.
0:00:46 > 0:00:48It's a journey for a new life.
0:00:48 > 0:00:51This was Nujeen back in 2015.
0:00:51 > 0:00:5316 years old and travelling from Syria, through Europe and
0:00:53 > 0:00:55towards Germany.
0:00:55 > 0:00:58She made the journey with her big sister but had
0:00:58 > 0:01:00to leave her mum and dad behind.
0:01:00 > 0:01:04It was a difficult journey and involved
0:01:04 > 0:01:06travelling by boat, waiting at borders of countries to find out
0:01:06 > 0:01:09whether or not she'd be allowed to continue her journey to
0:01:09 > 0:01:16safety.
0:01:16 > 0:01:17Eventually, she reached Germany where her
0:01:17 > 0:01:20brother was already living and has built a new life.
0:01:20 > 0:01:22So how does Nujeen describe herself now?
0:01:22 > 0:01:25The new Nujeen is just like any other person.
0:01:25 > 0:01:33She gets up early, goes to school.
0:01:33 > 0:01:35She is a hard-working pupil, I hope.

0:01:37 > 0:01:39She's not afraid any more.
0:01:39 > 0:01:42She's in safety now but thinks about the
0:01:42 > 0:01:45fighting that's still going on in Syria, comparing the country
0:01:45 > 0:01:53to a sick person who she hopes will get better one day.
0:01:53 > 0:02:00I really miss you.
0:02:00 > 0:02:02But don't worry, you just is really, really sick.
0:02:02 > 0:02:05But I'm sure you're going to get better, and when you
0:02:05 > 0:02:07do, I'll be right by your side.
0:02:07 > 0:02:10And when the fighting in Syria does stop, Nujeen hopes to return.

0:02:21 > 0:02:26last night, ending a run of three successive defeats.
0:02:27 > 0:02:30Second half goals from Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford were enough
0:02:30 > 0:02:32to set up the second Manchester derby of the season.
0:02:32 > 0:02:35Next, she's a FIVE time Paralympic Gold medallist who hates

0:03:11 > 0:03:17sending us lots of questions.
0:03:17 > 0:03:20Phoebe asks, how do you go so fast at the end of the race?
0:03:20 > 0:03:22That's quite a tricky question because sometimes,
0:03:22 > 0:03:25for me, being a distance swimmer, at the end of the race, you're quite
0:03:25 > 0:03:35tired.
0:03:40 > 0:03:43But all I think about is going as fast as I can to touch the
0:03:43 > 0:03:46pad at the end of the Paul and hopefully touch first
0:03:46 > 0:03:50and touch in a personal best.
0:03:50 > 0:03:52Finn says, you are really good at what
0:03:52 > 0:03:53you do.
0:03:53 > 0:03:53Thank you.
0:03:53 > 0:03:55Who got you into swimming?
0:03:55 > 0:03:58My parents took me at the age of five and I decided watching
0:03:58 > 0:04:01the Athens 2004 Paralympics, I wanted to set a dream of going to
0:04:01 > 0:04:03the Paralympics and getting a gold medal.
0:04:03 > 0:04:05I went to a disability competition and it all went from
0:04:05 > 0:04:08there.
0:04:08 > 0:04:11Josh who is 11 and from Suffolk wants to know, how
0:04:11 > 0:04:12tough is it being a paralympian?
0:04:12 > 0:04:13It's really tough.
0:04:13 > 0:04:16I've got to give a lot of dedication and sacrifice
0:04:16 > 0:04:17and give it everything I've got.
0:04:17 > 0:04:20I train nine times a week plus the gym sessions as well.

0:04:22 > 0:04:25What did you miss most about home?
0:04:25 > 0:04:28I really missed my cat and I'm really looking forward

0:04:31 > 0:04:32dad's cooking.
0:04:32 > 0:04:33She's done it again.
0:04:33 > 0:04:39It is gold for Ellie Simmonds.
0:04:39 > 0:04:41And finally, have you ever wanted to fly?
0:04:41 > 0:04:44Well one animal expert is doing just that by flying next to swans
0:04:44 > 0:04:47on a bird like parachute!
0:04:47 > 0:04:50For the next 10 weeks, Sacha will fly the route thousands
0:04:50 > 0:04:51of Bewick swans take.
0:04:51 > 0:05:00It's all to discover why their numbers are falling.
0:05:02 > 0:05:03She's setting off from Russia and will
0:05:03 > 0:05:04end up in the South West of England.
