0:00:10 > 0:00:12We meet the musical family where absolutely everyone plays something.

0:00:12 > 0:00:17And the super-cool tools Dubai firefighters get to use.

0:00:24 > 0:00:28UK Prime Minister Theresa May will go to America this week to meet

0:00:28 > 0:00:32Donald Trump to talk about how the countries will work together.

0:00:32 > 0:00:35But it's been a tricky first weekend in the job for President Trump.

0:00:35 > 0:00:38His team have argued with the media over the size of the crowds

0:00:38 > 0:00:40who watched his inauguration.

0:00:40 > 0:00:44Photos show large empty spaces when compared

0:00:44 > 0:00:47to Barack Obama's inauguration, but Mr Trump says the crowd was much

0:00:47 > 0:00:50larger than the media says, and they aren't being fair to him.

0:00:50 > 0:00:53The weekend also saw millions of people in America and around

0:00:53 > 0:00:57the world protesting against Donald Trump.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00They were marching to show their support for a number of issues,

0:01:00 > 0:01:03including gender equality and gay rights, which they don't

0:01:03 > 0:01:09think Donald Trump will do enough to protect.

0:01:09 > 0:01:11Now, some of you might play musical instruments,

0:01:11 > 0:01:13but can you imagine coming from a home where everyone

0:01:13 > 0:01:15is a top musician?

0:01:15 > 0:01:23Well, I met one family who are all musically in-tune.

0:01:23 > 0:01:24I play the violin.

0:01:24 > 0:01:25I play the cello.

0:01:25 > 0:01:26I play the piano.

0:01:26 > 0:01:27I play the violin.

0:01:27 > 0:01:32I play the cello.

0:01:32 > 0:01:34Meet the Kanneh-Mason family.

0:01:34 > 0:01:36They're all, you've guessed it, pretty musical.

0:01:36 > 0:01:39You guys come from a really musical family, don't you?

0:01:39 > 0:01:40Yes.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42Tell me a little bit about it.

0:01:42 > 0:01:51It's busy, and exciting.

0:01:51 > 0:01:54It can be very noisy, and it can be kind of annoying when you wake up.

0:01:54 > 0:01:57I'm rather used to it, when you always wake up

0:01:57 > 0:02:03and I can always hear a noise and the sound of music.

0:02:03 > 0:02:06What do you love about music, and why?

0:02:06 > 0:02:11I love music because it just has a lovely nice sound

0:02:11 > 0:02:13with every instrument.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16What I love about music is the fact that everyone is different, it's not

0:02:16 > 0:02:19like maths where the answer's always the same.

0:02:19 > 0:02:21What is it like, you all play musical instruments,

0:02:21 > 0:02:24what is it like to play as a group?

0:02:24 > 0:02:26When we all get together it's really nice, it's just really

0:02:26 > 0:02:28noisy and I like that.

0:02:28 > 0:02:32It's really nice playing with siblings because it's easy

0:02:32 > 0:02:34to tell them what to do without putting it into

0:02:34 > 0:02:37words, they just kind of know what to do next.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40You just look at people... Yeah, and they just know what to do!

0:02:40 > 0:02:42I couldn't leave this musical home without asking them

0:02:42 > 0:02:46for one special request.

0:02:46 > 0:02:48Could you play the Newsround theme music?

0:02:48 > 0:02:58THEY PLAY THE "NEWSROUND" THEME.

0:02:58 > 0:03:03Not bad, guys, not bad.

0:03:03 > 0:03:06OK, time for a quick round-up of some of the top

0:03:06 > 0:03:10sports stories today...

0:03:10 > 0:03:12Britain women's number one Johanna Konta has powered

0:03:12 > 0:03:15in to the quarter-finals of the Australian open after beating

0:03:15 > 0:03:17Russian Ekaterina Makarova 6-1 6-4.

0:03:17 > 0:03:21She's now won 18 sets in a row, but next up

0:03:21 > 0:03:25is American Serena Williams in the next round.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27And it doesn't get more exciting than this -

0:03:27 > 0:03:2893rd minute, 1-0 down, and Burnley are

0:03:28 > 0:03:29awarded this penalty.

0:03:29 > 0:03:31But it didn't end there.

0:03:31 > 0:03:34With less than a minute to go, this foul on Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny

0:03:34 > 0:03:38meant another penalty...

0:03:38 > 0:03:40And a win for Arsenal.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Goals from Diego Costa and Gary Cahill kept Chelsea

0:03:43 > 0:03:45at the top of the Premier League.

0:03:45 > 0:03:48But earlier in the match Hull's Ryan Mason had a nasty clash

0:03:48 > 0:03:52of heads with Cahill and broke his skull.

0:03:52 > 0:03:56The club have said he is OK but he will have to stay in hospital

0:03:56 > 0:04:01for the next few days.

0:04:01 > 0:04:03To another sport, but one that's called the Formula 1

0:04:03 > 0:04:06of the ice skating world - long-track speedskating.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09100 years ago Great Britain dominated the sport,

0:04:09 > 0:04:11but now it has almost died out here in the UK.

0:04:11 > 0:04:14BBC reporter Mike Bushell has been to check out the new home

0:04:14 > 0:04:20for GB speedskating - in the Netherlands!

0:04:20 > 0:04:27The frozen Fens in east England was the home of a traditional form

0:04:27 > 0:04:29of ice skating called track speedskating, where people

0:04:29 > 0:04:32would race each other on a frozen lake around a long track,

0:04:32 > 0:04:34a test of speed and endurance.

0:04:34 > 0:04:36However, in recent years the temperatures have risen

0:04:36 > 0:04:39and the Fens rarely freeze over, meaning people can't skate on them.

0:04:39 > 0:04:45This meant the popularity of track speedskating dropped in the UK.

0:04:45 > 0:04:50However, here in the Netherlands, it's booming.

0:04:50 > 0:04:52And some of the UK's best long-track speedskaters are now training

0:04:52 > 0:04:55here at this giant arena for their competitions.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58So who better to try out this cool new sport than the BBC's

0:04:58 > 0:05:00very own Mike Bushell?

0:05:00 > 0:05:03And what's the point if you don't have the right

0:05:03 > 0:05:04clothing for the job, hey?

0:05:04 > 0:05:07Looking good, buddy!

0:05:07 > 0:05:09Let's find out why people enjoy speedskating.

0:05:09 > 0:05:12I feel like I'm part of the wind!

0:05:12 > 0:05:15The first couple of steps you really need to be explosive,

0:05:15 > 0:05:17really get that speed up, because then the second bit

0:05:17 > 0:05:21you can really accelerate on and really finish your stride.

0:05:21 > 0:05:24It's hoped that top facilities like this will encourage more people

0:05:24 > 0:05:27to try out long-track speedskating.

0:05:27 > 0:05:33I love your style, Mike, but maybe leave it to the professionals!

0:05:33 > 0:05:36Last up this morning, forget fire engines -

0:05:36 > 0:05:39this is how Dubai firefighters go into action, using

0:05:39 > 0:05:43speedboats and jet packs.

0:05:43 > 0:05:45This video was released by the Dubai Civil Defence Team,

0:05:45 > 0:05:48showing off their new kit by rising above a bridge using water

0:05:48 > 0:05:52pressure from a jet ski.

0:05:52 > 0:05:54That's all from me, I'll be back at 4.20pm.

0:05:54 > 0:05:59Have a great day.
